I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. Since it was rush hour, Janbound only got a standing spot on the subway, but that didn't matter to her: She had just caught the subway and would be at JulieG's shop in time for her next shift—that's all that mattered! And yet—at the thought of this shift, she clenched her fists in fury. She wasn't a cleaning lady! And she would tell JulieG that as soon as she got back to the shop! Only two more stops...
The train's abrupt stop knocked Janbound off her feet. She stumbled into a man. He was able to catch her and even keep himself on his feet. Janbound stammered an apology and thanked the man for catching her. "You're welcome!" said the man. He checked to see if Janbound had hurt herself in the sudden stop—and suddenly muttered, "Poor girl—too poor to buy shoes!" He had spoken very quietly, but Janbound had heard him nonetheless: She looked down at her bare feet – and at that moment, Janbound's red face and the red stop signal that had stopped the subway so abruptly both glowed brightly! How embarrassing! But her hope that the subway would start moving again was not fulfilled for the time being – the driver still called for a little patience.
A faint smell of sweat filled Janbound's nose – nothing unusual in a crowded subway car, but her senses were highly sensitive at the time. Fighting the urge to vomit, she staggered again – this time into a woman who, in her shock, stepped on her bare toes with her high heels. In the pain, Janbound didn't even hear her apology. She just wanted to get out of here! Then a squawk came from the loudspeaker: "We ask for a little patience!"
Susan and Claire's stomachs also rebelled, but in this case because of the wrong food – at least they used that excuse to call in early from their shift at the supermarket. Their destination wasn't the pharmacy or their bed, but JulieG's store. They knew they weren't entirely innocent in Janbound's current situation and wanted to talk to their boss.

"We're working hard to fix the problem and ask for a little patience!" Most passengers responded to the announcement with a groan. Only one barefoot, blonde woman felt like crying! Janbound suspected that JulieG wouldn't understand her delay – and since she was still on probation, Janbound could even terminate her cleaning job without giving a reason. How would she pay her rent that way?
An elderly lady noticed Janbound's tears and put her arm around her shoulder. "Don't cry, blondie! There are worse things than being stuck in a subway!" Janbound started crying again – the lady had no idea of the professional consequences. The elderly lady hugged Janbound comfortingly.
Susan and Claire were luckier: The subway the two girls were on didn't stop in the tunnel, but in the station behind it. This meant they were able to get off the bus and take the bus to the store—unlike the blonde saleswoman stuck in the tunnel. But when they asked for Janbound, JulieG got loud. "She'll be fired without notice if she shows up here again! She should have at least called in—like any other employee! You have to call the school if you're not coming, right?" The two girls could only confirm this! "There you go!"
But Janbound completely forgot her cell phone—even when the subway eventually trundled to the next station. Everyone had to get off there. Since the replacement buses were completely overcrowded at the transfer stop, Janbound ran on foot—she still had a few miles to go. Her muscles burned, she had a stitch, gasping for breath, and blisters on her bare feet, and her blonde strands of hair were plastered to her head, but stopping wasn't an option!
The store door wasn't locked. Janbound crept into the store – and seconds later, she was lying on the floor, her wrists bound behind her back with Irish-8 handcuffs and her bare, blistered feet in leg irons. After a black ball gag between her teeth completed the picture, JulieG dragged the blonde woman into the shop window and chained her right foot to a billboard with another handcuff. JulieG laughed: "Actually, you don't deserve it – but you're getting a promotion: From cleaning lady to my store's advertising star! Congratulations! And after your shift, during which you lure customers into our store, we'll take photos for catalogs, and customers will also get to test the handcuffs, gags, and whips they're interested in exclusively on you! You're a lucky guy! Of course, you'll still have to do a bit of cleaning; no customers come to a dirty store! I'm even willing to raise your hourly rate by 10 cents!"
After Janbound acknowledged the whole thing with a deep sigh, JulieG turned to Susan and Claire: "A promise is a promise!"

"You lousy little blackmailers!" JulieG hissed at the two young girls. But then she scribbled a few lines on a receipt pad, tore off the top sheet, and handed it to Susan and Claire. "So: You get your free handcuffs or gag every month – in return, you won't tell anyone about what happened here today! You can read the same in this contract!" She watched angrily as the two girls skimmed the contract and signed it.
"Congratulations! Then pick out some handcuffs for this month! If I could make you a non-binding suggestion...!"
A little later, there were two clicks – and Susan's right and Claire's left thumbs were inseparably connected by small, rigid handcuffs – so-called thumbcuffs. Fascinated, the two realized they couldn't free themselves – because if they tugged too hard on the restraints, the teeth of the thumbcuffs would dig painfully into their skin. That something so small could be so effective...
"We'll take these! Could you please get the key, free us, and pack our new thumbcuffs? That would be very kind!", Susan said - she also spoke in Claire`s name.
