01 - A Night at the Park

A Night at the Park.
This event just happened tonight, so the events are fresh in my mind. All people in the story have false names to protect their privacy. Furthermore, I apologize for the lack of writing ability in my post; I am only 15, and far from an English professor.
It started today when I found out a girl my friend, Randy knew, wanted to go out with me. She and I made plans to meet at her house after she returned from church with her family. Her name was Karen.
However, I had a few hours to wait, so I traveled to the park, which is very near to where she lives. I am a very detirmined (although not very successful) skateboarder, and I practice at on the half pipe there often.
After about an hour of practice, I noticed that Randy had walked to the park as well, and we met, and decided to wait and walk to Karen's together.
After more skateboarding attepts, we noticed that they would be home in nearly an hour, so we walked to her house, which took no more than 12 minutes.
Having nothing else to do, we practiced skateboarding together in the street, until she arrived. After about 25 mintues, they returned, and we ran towards her house.
After Randy, Karen, and I returned to the park, Randy called his girlfriend and asked her mom if she could bring her, while I nervously asked Karen out. Apparetnly, luck was on our side, as both answers to the questions were yes
It was almost 9:00 P.M. when Randy's girlfriend arrived
with her mom in their van. This single event triggered most of the events at the park. After Helen, Ryan's girlfriend, stepped out, I noticed a roll of duct tape on the floor.
With the duct tape in hand, I motioned for Randy to prepare and duct tape her. Somehow, she must have known, because she ran as soon as Randy and I tried to grab her. We gave chase, and I finally caught her. We tried to tape her, but she put up too much of a fight, so the topic was dropped for a few minutes, however, Randy continued to hold the tape almost absent-mindedly.
After really noticing that, I asked Karen if she would wish to try. She said she would, so we walked over to where Randy and Helen stood, and I told them that we had a volunteer.
Randy, Helen, and I stood in a circle around her, working almost like machines in a car factory. Randy dispensed the tape, Helen held Karen still, and I applied the tape (for the most part).
As soon as we were in position, Randy ripped a piece of tape off, and applied it to her mouth, so she couldnt speak. After that, I took the tape from him, and wrapped it once around her wrists, in front of her. After that, I noticed a problem. Her arms were too far apart away from the wrists. After Helen noticed my efforts to push her arms together, she held them as I continued wrapping, until I reached halfway up to her elbows.
We decided not to tape her feet, so she could walk to the shelter building with us. However, as she and I walked towards it, Randy and and Helen found that they had to leave, so they were gone by the time we reached the building and sat down together, my arm around her waist.
She said something under her tape gag, and after some humorous attempts to speak, she reached up, with some difficulty because of the tape, and gently pulled it off.
She then smiled, and said, "With this on, how are you supposed to kiss me?"
I grinned, and slowly kissed her, saying, "You're right, how thoughtless of me."
After that, she said her arms were starting to go numb, so I carefully unwrapped them, and she gratefully gave me a hug, now that her arms were free.
After all this occured, it was about 9:30, so I started to walk her home, and afterwards, I skateboarded the rest of the way to my home.
Well, that's it, wish me luck with my new girlfriend, I will treat her as good as I can, while hopefully being able to have more exciting experiences with her, especially ones involving duct tape
