Enjoying the threads about reality and fantasy (viewtopic.php?t=23557) and realistic writing (viewtopic.php?t=22121) and wanted to post a related but different question:
1. What is something you enjoy reading/writing about but DON'T like doing/being done to you in real life?
And
2. What is something you enjoy in real life but DON'T like reading/writing about?
Website Migration Update
I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

For me it's:
1: I like reading and writing stories with long-term bondage and complete ownership. Its fun to conceptualize what being trapped in someone's house/prison/farm for years would be like, and it's fun to read about people who get kidnapped and turned into permeant bondage slaves. "Luke's Crew", "How I became the college dorm slave", and a lot of work on metalbondnyc's site are some of my favorite M/M examples of this. Irl though I enjoy having my own life, seeing friends and family, and doing normal stuff too much. The longest consecutive time I'd want to be held captive is probably a weekend.
2: I love escape challenges in real life but really struggle to write them. I've read a few really good escape-challenge stories (notably "Rope Gulch" and an old escape room one I can't remember the name of) but I don't search them out like I search out stories with torture and long-term bondage, despite the fact that in real life I actually enjoy escape challenges more.
