Onwards we go, into unknown territory

001.
"Hello, I'm Samantha."
"...."
Leaves rustling in the wind, which isn't an answer in any language I'm capable of translating. Nor do the ants, busily scaling and descending the trunk, deign to speak.
I should go to school, Tower Hill Comprehensive, but I probably won't. Despite putting on the uniform: pale blue short sleeved shirt and yellow tie with thin black stripes, black spandex leggings and black boots. The whole of it hugging my size ten frame, C cups pushing at the shirt front.
"The thing is." Talking to myself, or the trees. Or you? "Future West End stars don't need anything except drama and music." Thinking. "Possibly English."
Flitting from doomed Eponine to caught in a strange love triangle Christine, occasionally alighting on Eva Peron. Adamant though, pointed and set on my future like a guided missile.
Rounding a corner, no plan beyond wandering the woodland, possibly sneaking into the abandoned rail yard on its far side. Instead I find Lauren and Lucinda wandering in from the other direction, collision course averted as we all look up, stopping.
Tower Hill girls, all of us fourteen, and.
"Why is she bound?"
"Well." Lauren, glancing behind her at Lucinda, who can't comment. "It's...." Shrugging.
Not explaining.
Rope binds Lucinda's wrists, pinning them crossed in front of her. Trailing from this like a leash, the ends wrapped around Lauren's fist. She's gagged too, Lucinda, a purple woollen scarf, knot forced into the mouth, wrapped and secured around the head.
The three of us regarding each other, and me aware of the moment, tilting and fluid all around us.
"Should probably get to school." Lauren, eyes raised, staring over and beyond me towards the- out of site -perimeter fence, Tower Hill beyond. "I suppose."
"Yeah." Kicking loose leaves and running a hand back through my blonde cascade, not thrilled at the idea. "Suppose."
"Got science coursework to hand in, otherwise fuck it, right?"
"Fuck it." Nodding my agreement.
"You'll take care of Lucinda?" Jerking the leash, Lucinda, caught off guard she'd been staring at the sky, stumbling forward a couple of steps. Making no move to fight the ropes, I note, acting quite docile and maybe it's the gag? Maybe she actually agreed to it?
"What?"
"Rather not tie her off to a tree." Shrugging, all whilst looking around for a suitable tree, it appears. "You'd be doing me a solid Beth."
"Sammy."
"Whatever."
Well.
"Feel like I could use some help."
"What?"
"Nothing." Giving Lauren a quick- not crazy -smile.
Seriously though. Should I- A -help Lauren out. Or- B -go to school myself, since I am on my fifth, or something, warning.

Should've said: each chapter is going to end with a choice, a question of A, B, and so on. Occasionally (as directly below) the choice might be yes/no.
Comment your preference, and we'll go from there.

002.
"Okay." Holding out my hand. "I'll take her, you run off to school."
"Fine. Good." Walking passed me, tossing the rope. "I'll...."
Stopping, turning to stare at me. Shock, finally having registered my tone: teasing, playful. A little condescending.
"Run off to school?"
"Or skip." A casual shrug. "Better hurry too or you'll be late."
"Maybe I should stay." Not stepping closer, but there's a slight undercurrent in her words. "Get some more rope and bind you too."
"Maybe you should."
Do I want her too?
Am I even into all this?
Not a fucking clue. I suppose, guess if I asked properly someone- you -would tell me. But it doesn't feel like I should ask. Not yet.
Regarding Lauren, staring back. Lucinda forgotten, likely halfway to Europe since neither of us- I fumbled the catch, some kidnapper -has hold of her leash.
"Right. Well." Nodding as though at a point scored, as though she's winning whatever this was. "I'll see you Michelle."
"Next time Katy."
"Lauren."
"I know." Smiling, Lauren huffing, walking away.
"Right then well...." Turning, words drying up as I find. "Oh."
Lucinda, standing a half dozen feet away, watching. Apparently waiting for me.
Fourteen, as I've already said. Lucinda has more curves, a twelve and D cups to my ten complimented by C's. Wearing the same blue shirt and mostly yellow tie, but paired with an elasticated black skirt, hugging her legs the hem above the knee. Black trainers on her feet.
"Not running?"
"Ggghhfffnnnnmm." Shaking her head, mostly straight brunette hair, the tail she's tied it into shaking. Watching as I approach, bend down and pick up the two long trailing ropes, about a dozen feet which end at Lucinda's bound in front, crossed wrists.
Waiting as I wrap the rope around my right hand. Falling into step, slightly behind but I can hear her keeping pace, crunch of dead leaves and small twigs. Heading away from Lauren, away from school.
Entering the clearing five minutes later, end of this particular path, five- including our entrance -paths branching off. Stopping, hearing Lucinda halt, and seeing her as I turn around.
And she still doesn't seem bothered, upset to be bound, gagged. And I still don't even know what's going on.
"I could remove your scarf?" Fiddling with the rope in my fist. Asking. "You can't talk, and, it isn't up to you anyway, but...."
Smiling as Lucinda frowns, not understanding.
Maybe I'll explain, but, before anything else. Do I remove her scarf gag? Yes, or no?
"Okay." Holding out my hand. "I'll take her, you run off to school."

Yes. Find out what’s happening
Going with 'No' on two votes to one.
Thank you all. Am hoping to keep the short chapter format, stopping often for plenty of choice.
Plenty of opportunities to influence the run of things

"Why ungag you when it's there for a reason."
"Gggrrrssshh?"
Frowning some more as I laugh, gag muffled rubbish but I could still make out the questioning tone.
"I'm paraphrasing." Waving the fact away, the answer to my question. Given. Besides, so long as Lucinda remains gagged, she- quite obviously -remains bound too. And this: her bound and me not, is fun. Interesting. Different.
"You stay gagged." Approaching Lucinda, winding in the rope as I advance so that, even if she wanted to retreat, to maintain distance, she can't. "Because I." You. "Said so."
Deciding not to explain any further.
And, distracted by talking, by my own wandering thoughts, suddenly I find Lucinda right there. Inches away the two of us facing off like boxers, her crossed and bound wrists between us and our proximity close to the point Lucinda's wrists are pressed against her waist, brushing my own. Reeled in and unable to step away, my own rope wrapped hand resting low, brushing Lucinda's hip.
Feeling a small tingle, unable to not inhale the scent of her, something unexpectedly intimate occurring: that I'm her apparent keeper, and that- so far -Lucinda seems content to allow it.
Decisions to be made. But not yet.
"We've got...." Cocking my head. Thinking. "Math, together?"
"Hhssgggrrmmm."
"And history." Nodding, Lucinda nodding back. Two lessons I care little for, and, well.
"We aren't exactly friends huh?"
"Ffgggs ppfffhhmmnn mmmmddd rrrsst ffhhpppfffggggg mmmnndd-"
"-Okay." Cutting off whatever unintelligible crap she'd been attempting, because. "I don't care." Laughing. "You're gagged, bound."
Tugging on her wrists as I back up a step, Lucinda forced to follow, stumbling and caught out, colliding with me, D cups bouncing off my C's before she recovers. Standing but still forced to remain close, those points of brushed contact.
"And I'm not. So." A shrug, smiling. "I'm not sure anything you've got to say matters."
Blinking at me, somewhat thoughtful and I wait. Interested.
Because maybe this is a choice- almost feeling the tilt, the world shifting -Lucinda needs to make, or maybe not?
Maybe (A) Lucinda breaks free, but I'm faster, so I catch her? Or maybe (B) whilst chasing her I trip, and fall, and somehow she manages to transfer rope and gag onto me?
Or. Lucinda might (C) lead me to a stash of hidden, secret ropes?
Although maybe I should take the lead (D) and I fancy walking to the school fence, to spy?

Think Inwill go with A. Always like a bit of escape, brief freedom then recapture.
Ill say B, watch you get all tied up.

I'll go with B. Like it when the situations are reversed and the possible revenge.
B it is.
Thank you all, writing then posting, hopefully soon.

Who to blame?
Myself, for being overconfident, too sure of a future still up for debate, the unknown of you all, what I thought to be safe ground becoming instead thin ice.
Is Lucinda just better, faster and more agile then me? Did she dodge whilst I ran blindly on?
Irrelevant now. Because.
Distracted, the sudden flapping of a bird taking flight, a pigeon or some such, scared from the undergrowth by a fox, or some such. Taking unseen yet noisy flight, making me look.
And Lucinda, gone. With a grunt, a rush of air caused by her departure and me looking back whole seconds too late. Already up to speed, already close to a dozen feet away and disappearing. Rope trailing out behind her like kite tails, a black blue blur. Running and laughing, gag muffled but clearly delighted to slip her leash free of my slackened grip.
"Shit."
Taking off after her, not even sure why?
Do I care so much about a bound girl I didn't make such?
What was I even planning on doing, with her?
Gaining though, Lucinda no less athletic, and me in boots too, yet it's always easier for the chaser then the chased. That slip stream effect. Gaining on the straight line, Lucinda glancing back over her shoulder, seeing, eyes going briefly wide, stumbling.
Making me grin, adding on more speed. Closing in.
Lucinda making a hairpin left, almost a right angle, somehow making the turn with a tree as the pivot point despite she can't grab hold of it for aid.
I can, though. But, too fast, judging the angle and speed, getting everything wrong. Fate- the choice made -stepping in, subtle shift and instead of grasping the rough firm trunk my hands slip off, causing me to half collide, impact jarring on one shoulder, bouncing off and stumbling.
Going down.
Contact with the leaf littered ground knocking the wind from me, disorientating. Rolling around and blinking.
Lucinda taking advantage, and maybe she's grateful?
Maybe she'll even say thank you?
I would, just saying.
Somehow, and I'm not in a position to see, and the act of freeing herself apparently doesn't involve noise. But somehow Lucinda, having stopped, having seen me go down, whether she'd been secretly fighting the ropes for awhile or magically they came loose.
I go down, and moments later Lucinda isn't bound.
Almost back under control, breathing normal, head no longer spinning and shoulder less then a dull ache. Moments away from pushing myself back up and searching for Lucinda, and Lucinda landing atop me.
Knocked down to the ground, winded all over again.
In no position or state to fight her off, thoughts and responses scrambled by the unexpected weight. Feeling my arms yanked back, something coarse wrapping pinned wrists, pinching skin. Handled, a serious of brisk, harsh pushes, the idea of struggling, fighting back not even given time or space to occur.
Rough texture filling my mouth, brushing the side of my face and as reality sluggishly, belatedly dawns, the weight is lifted, Lucinda standing, dragging me up after her.
Feeling out the changes whilst opposite me, arms crossed beneath an impressive bust, breasts, like mine pushing at the somewhat tight front of her pale blue shirt. Lucinda, smiling at me. Pleased.
Wrists bound, crossed and pinned at the small of my back, excess rope not become a leash but instead wrapped and tightly knotted around my skinny waist, forcing arms and especially wrists to remain behind, the unfamiliar position uncomfortable. Strange, realisation of my trapped limbs bringing a small tingle to my breasts, a sense of exposure despite being clothed in both bra and shirt.
Gagged, that purple woollen scarf, tasting and feeling out the large knot, wedged in my forced open mouth, teeth unable to do anything except bite down on the rough texture.
"So." Walking a slow circle of me, and with an effort I remain still, not turning to follow her. "Sammy?"
"Sssgggrrmm." A single nod.
"We're not exactly friends," her tone teasing, throwing the role reversal fully in my face, that now the decisions are hers to make.
She thinks.
"Are we?"
"Ddffgggmm ppffsssrr ttggdd hhhffmmnn ssdddffmmgg ppggmm-"
"-Yes, well." Waving me to silence, the explanation I wasn't willing to give earlier, that she apparently doesn't care for anyway.
Lucinda looking around. Looking, at me, but around, too. Thinking.
And, she could (A) simply walk away, and if she does maybe I'd let her, because despite being bound and gagged, I'd be free to make my own choices. Or (B) as she walks, I'll fall into step, some kind of sense of ownership compelling me to stay with her, despite the lack of leash.

B this time
thank you all....

005.
You know what? No.
Lucinda- you -got me into this strange, becoming twisted tale. So Lucinda- you -can suffer the consequences.
By which I mean me, not going away.
Besides which I hadn't been prepared for how vulnerable and exposed I feel. Not the gag, ignore that, for now. Although it's impossible for me to not be aware of it every damn second: the taste, texture on my tongue and lips. The buildup of saliva and eventually I'm going to drool.
And it'll be the worst, most embarrassing thing.
Possibly Lucinda didn't feel it: the exposure, or not in the same way? But my wrists aren't in front, they're behind, bound crossed, pinned to the small of my back and I can wriggle, struggle. But that achieves nothing beyond making my hands sweat, bouncing my bra clad and shirt covered C cups.
Which I can't cover, or protect. Hence the growing tingle of apprehension, nipples budding, pushing and rubbing against the half lace of my bra cups, which just makes everything more sensitive. Not helping.
Bound, just the wrists but I feel helpless, vulnerable. And it isn't a bad feeling, which point is if anything adding more embarrassment: that I should be enjoying the fact, of the idea, of not being able to stop someone touching my breasts.
Which are covered in two separate- white half lace push up bra and pale blue shirt -layers yet still often, currently feel not. I've twice felt a phantom wind brushing them, just my imagination, thoughts teasing at the point.
What I'm trying to say, rambling along here, is that I don't want to be alone.
So.
Watching Lucinda, who bested, outwitted and tied me. With help?
Possibly.
Looking around, looking back at me before nodding, a decision made. After which she walks away, no words, no wave nor an offer to tag along, she simply begins walking.
"Really?"
"Ffgggmmmddd." A shrug, stopped because she's stopped, turned to face me having realised after three dozen paces that I've fallen in behind. Am following.
"I'm not freeing you." Sounding halfway angry, tone the equivalent of 'sod off' with sweeping gestures that emphasise her point.
Go away Sammy.
"Ffgggdd." I nod. I know, hadn't expected, and can't ask her- you -to free me anyway. Not whilst gagged. "Ppllddggssmmm."
"Go bother someone else." Stepping back a couple of paces, waving me off but actually laughing as I match her, taking two paces forward.
"Seriously." Stepping forward and with a small effort I resist the urge to retreat. Standing still as Lucinda tugs and probes at my ropes, pulling at my wrists, sticking two fingers between rope and my leggings waistband, testing and finding slack only if I breathe in, and then not much.
Walking behind me, tugging- it feels like -on my gag, still tight.
Basically, and the thought creates a small shiver across my shoulder blades, down my back and legs. Having examined my bindings, Lucinda's proved to us both that my struggles have produced no slack, that I'm still tightly bound, and gagged.
Helpless.
"Go find a friend to bother." Throwing the words out behind her, back into motion and walking away.
Or she would if.
"Really?"
"Ddrrrggg pppffmmmnn." Stopped, again, because she's stopped. Turned to face me hands on hips. Scowling.
"Because I tied you up?"
"Rrsssmmmg fffggppp mmnntttff." Because lots of reasons, muffled words accompanied by a shrug. "Ttgghhhfffmm."
"I am." Making a cutting gesture. Final. "Not freeing you."
"Gggffhhmmnn." Replying with a single nod. I understand.
And again, a different part of the woods, but Lucinda taking a moment, looking around, at and beyond me, behind her. Thoughtful.
Making the choice, and I wait, for the whisper, wondering whether she'll hear it too?
Lucinda could be rid of me, but only by (A) binding me to a tree.
But if she walks, I walk. And maybe (B) she'll go to the school fence at the woodland boundary with civilisation, or (C) press deeper into the woods.
