Writing Advice.

So, I discovered a problem yesterday with my writing app. It has an AI assistant that goes deeper than simple spell check or autocorrect. Like, it wouldn't let me type "mmph" at one point, and I had to fight with it. Sadly, my tablet didn't have a notepad included. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Seems to be OK in "Word".

I would love to use Word. But, my only device is an Android Tablet right now. I'm limited to what's available on Google play.

This may seem super-ironic, but if you type "google play android text editor without AI" into Google, it's AI Overview response seems to give plausible answers.

Worth a try.

Could be helpful...? Thought it was worth dropping in to mention anyway.

I use Gmail (other email providers are available  ) to write, creating my chapters with the 'draft' function, copy and pasting them across to the site as and when. The beauty, I find, of this is my email always being readily available, via my (Android) phone, allowing me to dip in and out of writing whenever and wherever the mood takes.

Neat idea! I prefer to write "offline" but if the new NotePad I found doesn't work, I can certainly try that! Thank you.
