Website Migration Update
I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

So, I discovered a problem yesterday with my writing app. It has an AI assistant that goes deeper than simple spell check or autocorrect. Like, it wouldn't let me type "mmph" at one point, and I had to fight with it. Sadly, my tablet didn't have a notepad included. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Seems to be OK in "Word".
They all say boxer shorts are cool,
but little Speedos always rule.

I would love to use Word. But, my only device is an Android Tablet right now. I'm limited to what's available on Google play.

This may seem super-ironic, but if you type "google play android text editor without AI" into Google, it's AI Overview response seems to give plausible answers.
Worth a try.

Could be helpful...? Thought it was worth dropping in to mention anyway.
I use Gmail (other email providers are available
) to write, creating my chapters with the 'draft' function, copy and pasting them across to the site as and when. The beauty, I find, of this is my email always being readily available, via my (Android) phone, allowing me to dip in and out of writing whenever and wherever the mood takes.

Neat idea! I prefer to write "offline" but if the new NotePad I found doesn't work, I can certainly try that! Thank you.RopeBunny wrote: 1 day ago Could be helpful...? Thought it was worth dropping in to mention anyway.
