I think many TUGgers don't realize isn't cool being held prisoners against our will. The fact that I felt excited doesn't cancel the terror also I felt at the idea of being left abandoned into the trunk of a car, bound and helpless.

I myself used to want to simulate various scenarios that I saw in artwork in my younger years which was one of the driving forces for learning self bondage. I wanted to learn deeper stuff like self suspension and tying my elbows tight. Thankfully before I could learn all that I got older and wiser enough to learn that in reality that would be a very bad idea.

There's a pronounced difference in being in a fantasy kidnapping in a roleplay scenario with someone who understands your fetish and cares about your well-being, and someone who's kidnapping you to get you out of the way and putting you in legit danger.

Well said. I fantasize about being kidnapped all the time, but it's just that, a fantasy. I equate a consensual kidnapping scenario/roleplay with riding a roller coaster. It simulates danger without actually putting you in danger.
