Jabones of Redcorn IV (also known as "Jabba the Human" on certain unsavory outposts) was a man with odd whims and an odd sense of humor. On Lorelei Station, twelve years ago, he had indulged in the whim of purchasing a kitchen maid, and he had never regretted it since.
Her blue skin didn't matter to him. Like most humans, he was omnichrome when it came to female complexions. Her small size - no more than 152 cm tall - had required him to reinstall his kitchen counters at a lower height, but also gave him an opportunity to bestow a nickname. She was "Minafarie 773-QV-6701" in the station catalog, and he immediately tagged her as "Mini." And although she never openly admitted it, it was obviously a nickname she'd heard before.
Now Mini presented herself for the usual morning inspection: Properly dressed for her tasks of the day, unshod because Jabones adhered to Lorelei's zero-shoe policy even when off-station, and armbound and hobbled. The Zenodal armbinders would be removed so that she could prepare breakfast. The HuttMech Basic hobbles would remain locked on her ankles.
