Sorry, but I am unlikely to update the Father Christmas story before Old Twelvie so I thought I would present the latest version of that fine old traditional verse, "The Twelve Days of GiDmas".
(Could do with a better alliterative gift for the eighth day.)

The Twelve Days of GiDmas
On the twelfth day of GiDmas
My true love sent to me:
Twelve tormented Tarzans,
Eleven leather lovelies,
Ten tied-up team-mates,
Nine nasty ‘nappers,
Eight kids a-kidnapped,
Seven swimmers struggling
Six sailors straining,
Five secured slaves,
Four gagged guys,
Three triplets tied,
Two taped up twins.
And a boy tightly bound to a tree.
(A song most proper for singing on Twelfth Night)
