I've realized for years, maybe since I was 8, that I liked to tie people up. Guess it's kinda young to be realizing an interest in it but my class saw a play done by the older kids. It was a ransom play, and the boy 'kidnapped' in the play was in actual fact, tied up.

And well tied up!!

With only the gym skipping ropes, but tied up none the less. And effective for a drama.
So I realized as I watched that it was somehow intriguing to me.

It remained.

I'd watch anything as a child, a movie, a tv show, anything in hopes there'd be a capture, some bondage. Often, there was. These were the seventies and the drama was a lil more cheesy ... no duct tape!! And especially never wrapped around the head like today!! Just basic rope ties and most often with over-the-mouth detective style gag if you were lucky.

And of course, being the seventies, everything was more permissive. Anybody was doing everything to anyone you could find!! So it wasn't unusual that you'd tie someone up or be tied up. Today, we take ourselves and our lives so much more serious. Far too serious. But there's still the fun to be had. You just have to be a little more careful.

I don't think it's unusual that people in your own family have the same interests. Cousins can be really good for that - stemming from the same 'tree', so to speak. And there's usually enough familiarity to make it comfortable.

There were many time in my life that I tied up my younger cousin. He liked to be tied and I like to tie him. He had a seemingly insatiable appetite for it and so did I. He was younger that me by a few years. Still could have put up a good fight if he'd wanted to. But...

Wrestling's always a good place to start.

We'd wrestle. I could usually pin him if I tried. He'd relent pretty easily too anyways, more concerned (...uh, not concerned, fascinated) by what might happen to him should he give up.

This was just the beginning of the age where we protect our children so much that they never have a chance to let anything...

just...

happen to them.

We wrestled once, late 80's. He was face down. Not really putting up much of a fight. I think I "won" ... and was really just ready to go on to something else when he said that I may have to 'tie him up for this one.' Uh, yea...ok, if you say so!!

We were near a linen cupboard. I yarded him over. He was more like a big dead tuna fish than anything else cause he didn't struggle or make effort to get away. Still I kept hold on him, hands held behind his back as best I could while still reaching with the other to get something, anything I could from the cupboard that I could use. I only came back with t-towels (you know, dryin' the dishes sort of things...) Anyway, did what I could with those. Somehow got enough wraps around his wrists to (ostensibly) have his hands tied though anyone, anywhere, anytime could have broken free. Then another towel or some such thing around his feet and he was restrained, face down, hands behind, feet tied and not goin' anywhere....

This was the 80's and the dawn of duct tape. Much like the 90's saw the integration of the ballgag in mainstream culture, so too were we seeing duct tape used more & more often in film to gag people. Now was my chance....

I went downstairs where I knew there to be some....

Came back, and fully expecting anyone else to have used to opportunity to flee, at least try to....

Returned to see him motionless and unmoved on the floor exactly as I'd left him.

k, then....go time

I was always good at ripping strips of tape and this was not an exception. I was eagerly anticipating finally putting this stuff on someone's mouth and now hoped against hope that he wasn't going to stop me. Yea, no... Rolled him over, held the tape near his mouth & put it on. Really completes the picture, don't ya think...

There was a movie I'd seen called "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" and in it, one sister torments the other. In one scene, ties her up and gags her with (ok, now I am dating myself...white adhesive tape). Long story long...she takes the tape off and reapplies it again throughout the move. Thought I'd try me some of that. If he took it once.... maybe like peanuts, once you start....

And I did that throughout the course of the day. Duct tape can be pretty rough and started to take some of the skin off his lips. Well, when you play with the big boys...

And then torture's always a little necessary. I thought ice cream was the flavour of the day (uh, sorry)...

So one spoonful at a time, and slowly over a while, I dropped ice cream on his (already) gagged face and watched mercilessly as it melted and ran down into our harvest gold 70's style shag carpet (don't tell my parents).

His head looked like a bundt cake.

I relented.

Though, and pay attention here kids, ice cream and duct tape do not mix!!

So, kinda hosed him down...

And then went to town on the ties, beefing them up. I untied the towel from his hands, crossed them again and bound him with the duct tape. Don't think there's any gettin' out of a duct tape tie, do you? You're there for the duration.

And again, with a face cleaner and more bondable, took another strip of duct tape and held it near his (already fraying) lips. Still no resistance. Nothing. Knew he was to be gagged again and yet kept his mouth closed and head still in that anticipation. And again it was applied.

Ever notice when you tape someones mouth there's no hint of their actual face while you're applying pressure to the tape?? Then once you release it the tape can take the shape of their actual mouth sometimes?? Guess it depends. But it held firm. Always use the stuff with the fibres. It'll never let you down until it's infiltrated with ice cream.

Tied him other ways that day too...

Hands in front, taped together. See, what can happen there is over the course of a tie up the tape can stretch and even become like rope. It did and I realized with only minimal effort on his part he could escape, at least get a hand out and at very least get the tape gag off. But alas, I was his captor and it seemed to be the way he wanted it.

And I wanted it.

I've come to realize as I get older some kids (especially boys) feel safer tied up.

And in fact probably are, the truth be told.

Self control is tough sometimes, and it is especially hard when you have more energy that you know what to do with.

And I think you're safer tied up by someone (let's say) 'safe' than tied up by yourself (ie, self bondage)

My wish for all of you who want to be tied is that you find someone who will tie you without hurting you.

k, enough out of me...

have fun....
