Synopsis - Julian Haemon, possibly the last of the ancient Vampire race, has become disillusioned with his power to control humans’ minds with his unique bite. Having used countless humans over the centuries as emotionless, mindless bondage slaves, he longs for the chance to gain power over a thinking, feeling mortal unaffected by his power.
Then everything changes once he takes his latest captive, Jennifer Pope, a seemingly ordinary young architect whom he tricks into his home...
