A Sub is doing the passive part, this person is the one getting tied up.
And a Switch is someone who switches between the dominant and submissive role, sometimes he/she is the Sub and sometimes the Dom.

Male switch, don't really care if I'm top or bottom or constantly switching with my partner, just as long as someone is bound I'm happy.
Personally my main one is Male dom, but I'm equally okay with Female dom or female sub.
Male switch, started as a sub for a couple of years.
