Website Migration Update


I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

PROPOSED FLASH FICTION CONTEST 2021

Proposed Flash Fiction Contest


As long as at least ten members express their interest in taking part by sending a pm to [mention]Xtc[/mention] containing only the words, “I’m flash!”, the contest will be on.

If there is sufficient interest, we will make a post announcing:
“The 2021 Flash Fiction Contest will open for entries on [a date at least a week in advance] when the topic will be posted.”

On that date, the subject around which the contest will revolve will be published.

One week after that, the contest will close.


The rules:

1) 650 word maximum including title. (No additional excuses, no explanations.)
2) Must be on topic (to be announced on Sunday March 7th).
3) Stories must be suitable for everyone.
4) The judges’ decision might be arbitrary and biased but shall be final.
They all say boxer shorts are cool,
but little Speedos always rule.
