Hello Friends
Well it has been a while in the making but I have got to the point where I feel ready to share a story that I have started on.
First off many thanks to Jason Toddman for proof reading it and giving me much needed suggestions. 8)
Next I feel its important to point a few things out so as to avoid confusion from the very beginning. I am not from the USA or the UK
so when I talk about school systems and vacations etc I don't have any experience to draw on with regards to them. For instance I hear that
the USA has middle schools. I had to look up what they were

We also don't have summer holidays per say, and the year is broken up into four roughly equal parts. The longest holiday is over the Christmas season and is around a month long. I should also point out that here in the Southern Hemisphere Christmas time is summer time!
I have intentionally not made mention of witch country the story is set in. My aim was to try and make it seem that it could be anywhere.
Next is the story length. Its certainly not a short story. I am on 20 000 words in my draught manuscript and have only gotten through the first few three days. That being said I never intended this to be a short story. I want it to take the reader on a journey into my characters lives. I want you to fall in love with some of them and really hate others, and I cant accomplish that in a few short pages.
I also want to say that this is a fantastic forum. I started out here a little while back looking for a story I read a long while ago. TUGS had never really been my primary focus while writing stories as my fetish is for feet and anything foot related. TUGS, domination and Master Slave themes, although important have always taken the back seat. When I started this story in June I had only started to read the TUGS stories here, so as a result the first part of the story dosnt have much of them in it. I am now an avid fan and have included allot more in it. It still probably wont be the primary theme, but it will certainly play a major role.
I thought I might mention this in case you started the story and got a bit bored with it.
It has also been suggested to me that I remind you that I am South African, so bear in mind if you don't understand some of the references that I make. I will be more than happy to explain. Some of the best advice given to me for story writing is to write about what you know, and it works for me.
Finally I really love constructive criticism. I value any feedback that will improve my writing and the story, so please don't hesitate.
I know haters are going to hate, its what they do. But I have to say that I havnt seen much if any on this forum. Its a good place to be

So sit back, relax, and let me introduce you to Steven...
Chapter 1
I am going to tell you the story of my life so far. Most of you might think it strange and appalling, but let me reassure you that I would not change a thing. Sometimes dreams do come true.
I grew up in a lower middle class family in a small town. It was a rural type of town with most of the business coming from the various farms and small holdings that dotted the countryside for many miles around. We were pretty isolated, the nearest town being around forty miles away. Owing to the size of our town, we didn’t have such things as movie theaters and so on, so there wasn’t really much for kids to do. But as kids tend to do, they make their own entertainment.
My dad wasn’t a land owner, and we lived in one of the small suburbs in a two bedroom home that we rented. He was the janitor at both the local elementary and High school. You can imagine that I got teased a lot about that. He also had other sideline jobs that he did to make ends meet.
My mom died when I was very young, and my dad was left to look after me alone. That was not easy for either of us. He did have a few girlfriends over the years, but none ever stuck. Dad became quite introverted and left me to my own devices and as a result I became independent very quickly.
My friendship with Aidan started when we were around thirteen years old. It was also around the time that I began to figure out that I liked boys’ company a lot more than that of girls.
It was one of those beautiful warm balmy summer afternoons and it was Saturday. My homework and chores for the weekend finished I decided to walk to the shops and buy some sweets. I had saved up my allowance and since it was the end of the month I decided to treat myself. Approaching the store I peeked in and saw Donovan there with his cronies.
Donovan was one of the bullies in my class at school. He and his little gang did the usual bully things to various kids. It didn’t matter to him if you were older or younger. He preyed on weakness. Unfortunately I was often in the firing line. I have to admit, I am a little more on the wimpy side of things, whereas Donovan was the stereotypical jock-to-be. His brother ran the roost at the high school, so it went without saying he did the same at the elementary school. From what I heard his dad was very much the same around town. Their family owned quite a big ranch, and were well off.
I was not going to go into the store with him there, so instead I went around the corner to the park to wait it out for a bit. Once there I found an old coke bottle and set it up on a dead old tree stump. I then collected some stones and tried my hand at knocking it off.
I wasn’t having much luck, so I went a few steps closer to try again. Before I had a go I was stopped by a voice behind me. “Hi there, could I have a go too?â€
I almost jumped out of my skin, thinking it might be Donovan, but it wasn’t. I had never seen this boy before, and being weary, I scanned the park quickly to see if it might be a trick by Donovan.
The boy in front of me saw this. “It’s only me here. Names Aidan,†he told me and stuck out his hand.
Still nervous, I shoot it. I always got nervous around good looking boys.
“Hi, I’m Steven. I haven’t seen you around. You new here?†I asked.
Aidan flicked his blond hair out of his face to reveal the most beautiful aquamarine eyes I had ever seen. It wasn’t just their colour. They seemed to possess a hypnotists enthrall deep within them. I was caught off guard, and almost didn’t hear his answer. “Yea, we just moved to a place just outside of town. It’s my first weekend here, so I’m just looking around to find some kids to make friends with.â€
I sighed, and looked down at his shoes. I knew he was out of my league. Kids like him didn’t mix with the likes of me. If his parents owned a farm, or ranch, then they had way more money that my dad did. That and of course I could see that he was one of the crowd of really popular kids. “Well, most of the kids around here are on the other side of town at the moment. There is an arcade there and they all go on a Saturday.†I explained.
Aidan looked at me quizzically for a moment. “So why aren’t you there?†he asked.
“I don’t really have any friends. I’m sure you will find a lot of kids there, and they will all probably want to be your friend†I replied.
Aidan gave a small laugh. “Why do you say that?†he asked.
“Well you know, because you are so good...â€
I caught myself before I finished the sentence. What had I done? What a weird thing to say! I resigned myself there and then that I had blown any chance of winning him as a friend; however remote that chance was in the first place.
Then something happened that I didn’t expect, and that caught me totally off guard. Aidan stepped closer to me, took my hand and then picked out one of the stones I had been holding for my target practice. “Well I think I will choose my own friends.†he said, and then took a step back. “Is that the target over there?†Aidan asked indicating the bottle.
I just stood there and nodded dumbly.
He then took aim and missed, but not by much.
I took my turn and was also a little ways off. Aidan held out his hand, so I gave his the rest of the pebbles I had, and got some more. He had tried twice and was getting very close. My next throw bounced off the trunk and we could hear the ping of the glass. But it did not fall.
“Doesn’t count. You gotta knock it off†Aidan insisted.
It was his turn next and of course he got it. The glass broke and tumbled down to the ground. Aidan was pleased with himself. I congratulated him and asked if he wanted to play again.
“Nah, what were you going to do this afternoon?†Aidan asked.
“Well I was going to go and get some sweets by the store, and then I was going to go and explore the woods.†I answered.
“Great idea! It’s nice to have someone to show me around.†Aidan smiled, and we set off to the store.
Once we were inside Aidan looked around at all various items. I couldn’t believe it. What was happening I mean. Here was this really cool kid and he seemed to like me. I didn’t think he had been put up to it by Donovan, I usually had a nose for traps like that.
I don’t know why, I suppose subconsciously I wanted to show my appreciation, so I decided to use half of my savings to buy him a sweet too. “Hey Aidan, come and choose a sweet. I have my pocket money, so I will but it for you.â€
Aidan ambled over. I realized then that he was looking at the expensive chocolates. There was no way I had enough to buy them.
“Uhh sorry Aidan, I don’t have enough for even one of those.†I told him.
Aidan looked at the note in my hand and then back up at me. “But you want one don’t you?†He asked.
“Uhh sure I guess, but I can’t even buy us one to share†I said forlornly.
Aidan just smiled at me. He took two off the shelf, and then went along the isle and retrieved a packet of crisps. “Go and get us two cans of soda, I want a coke, you can choose whatever you want†he told me and then went off looking for something else.
I did as he asked, and met up with him at the checkout counter. When it came time to pay he slapped a twenty down and grinned at me. While he got the change I packed the bag. We then went outside, ready for exploring.
It was a short walk to the edge of the woods. On the way I pointed out some interesting spots, and told him about the stream. We also walked passed my house and told him that it was where I lived. Aidan didn’t say anything, but I was embarrassed. I knew what he must be thinking. It really was very small.
“Hey thanks for the sweets and the soda.†I said, hoping to take his attention away from it as we walked on.
“Not a problem, just think of it as payback for you showing me around.â€
I laughed “I would have shown you anyway.â€
Aidan smiled at this and we carried on walking.
We had a great time. I lead him to the fort that I had built. It was secreted away in a remote part of the woods that I had never seen anyone go to. I was quite proud of it, although it was still a work in progress. I had managed to scavenge some scrap from various places to make two walls, and three large plastic sheets made a waterproof roof. I also had a plastic lawn chair that I got from my neighbors. They had left it on the front lawn and was only too happy to let me take it.
“This is great!†Aidan said excitedly. He checked the roof support to see how sturdy it is. I had dug them in deep, and he was satisfied.
“O man we can have a lot of fun out here†Aidan grinned. “Does anyone else know about it?â€
“Nope, just me.†I replied proudly.
“Man, I’m tired; let’s chill here for a while. You still have the sweets and the soda,†Aidan pointed out.
I offered Aidan the only seat and then sat down on the ground in front of him leaning up against the tree that the fort was built against. Since Aidan had paid for them, I gave the bag to him to divide the treats out. He took it and then dug inside. Aidan then passed me a bar of chocolate and a soda. As we sat there and munched we chatted.
The Masterson family had moved here a week ago. They had bought a ranch just on the outskirts of town. I knew the one, it was really big, and the previous owner had raised horses there. I was also really glad to hear this because it was fairly close. I mean it was within bike riding distance.
He had a younger brother who was ten and an older sister who was in college.
His mom and dad were divorced so he just lived with his mom and brother. Mrs. Masterson had purchased the biggest grocery store in the town with the money she got from his dad.
Aidan then told me that he and his brother went to the private school in the next town. My heart sank a bit. I was hoping that he would be coming to my school. It would have been great to have him there.
After a bit I told Aidan all about me and my life. It’s strange; I didn’t hold anything back really. Aidan was just the kind of kid that inspired trust. Of course I left out the part about me finding other boys more interesting than girls. So now he knew about my life, and my bullying problem at school.
Aidan was angry when I told him about this, but I laughed it off. I would rather concentrate on better things. We ate and chatted some more.
I began then to notice the skate shoes he was wearing. I knew the brand. They were really expensive, and the only kid in school that could afford a pair was Donovan.
Aidan caught me looking at them. “You like my shoes?†He asked and twisted his foot so I could get a better look.
“Yea they are really great. I’ve only seen one other kid with a pair. But you shouldn’t wear them out here in the woods. It will get them dirty and you might ruin them.†I said.
Aidan looked at them. There was some dirt on the tops and they were a little scuffed.
“Here, let me get that for you†I offered.
After putting my soda down I reached over and picked up his foot and placed in onto my knee. I then dusted off the mud. Suddenly I thought that he might have found this really weird. I mean how often do you see a friend volunteering to clean a dirty shoe? At that time I just wanted to be nice, especially since I was drinking his soda and eating his sweets.
In fact it didn’t faze Aidan in the slightest. He just kept eating the bag of chips and looking down at me. He then did something I didn’t expect. Once I was finished with the left one, he replaced it with the other one so I could do it.
I didn’t object. O yes, I should mention, that at about the same time that I started noticing boys more, I also started to notice their feet. That of course fed into my belief that I truly was a freak.
Thank goodness I didn’t get excited at that point. I think I would have died in shame. Luckily I think I was too nervous or something.
When I had finished cleaning the other one he put his foot back down on the ground and casually continued the conversation.
The rest of the day was spent near the fort, mainly playing soldier. Aidan mentioned that he and his brother had paint-ball guns at his house and we could bring them the next time we came here.
When it finally came time to go home we left the woods and walked back. Aidan still wasn’t sure the way home so I walked with him until he was sure he knew where he was.
I had such a great afternoon with him I didn’t want it to end, but I was a little apprehensive about asking to spend more time with him tomorrow. I didn’t have to be because Aidan brought it up.
“Hey you wanna hang out tomorrow?†Aidan asked.
“Yea sure I do!†I replied a little too eagerly.
Aidan chuckled at this. “Well I got lots of things to do tomorrow. Unpacking and stuff. I could see you afterwards.â€
I was a little disappointed. I would have like to spend the whole day together.
“Hey I have an idea...†Aidan continued “ I know you need the pocket money, so I’ll pay you ten bucks to help me out with it.â€
I laughed at this. Sure, ten bucks was a huge amount for me, but I wasn’t going for this deal.
“No way Aidan, I can’t take your money. I’ll come and help you, you don’t need to pay me!â€
Aidan grinned at me anyhow. “I know you will, but you see, if I pay you, I can boss you around because you work for me.â€
I sure didn’t expect him to say this. That was a little strange, but the cheesy smile on his face was disarming, and hell, it was ten bucks.
“OK fine, it’s your money,†I said and we shook on the deal.
“Be at my house at 8:00 am tomorrow†Aidan told me and walked off.
I stood there for a moment looking at him go and then got the distinct feeling that he was testing me somehow. Remember when I said I had a sense for these things? Well the bells were going off in my head.
