Honestly, since writing that comment, I've grown even more. I've come to a point where I would weigh my options carefully. I could see myself submitting to Brody or seeking to get into Chad or one of the other teammates good graces. Neither path is going to be an easy experience, but there is excitement to behold from both of them. The only thing that makes me nervous with Brody is...well there is no turning back. Once he has me, I'm his. And again, it's both exciting and frightening at the same time. I think that might be one of my primary delights when exploring personal fantasies and hypotheticals in relation to the hazing universe of BnG.bondagefreak wrote: 3 days ago Hey @cataylor93,
I'm glad you enjoyed Sammy's tale and that Chad resonated with you so well. I'm not too sure Chad would protect you from Brody's breathplay antics (which he would almost certainly deem as both amusing and harmless), but I was just discussing this very issue (seeking Chad or Shawn's protection from Brody) with @OrdinaryWorld a bit earlier today.
From what we've seen of Chad, being afforded his attention and personal protection would come with a number of strings attached. He would most assuredly demand something in exchange; be it loyalty, tribute or regular service. His protection would come with a hefty price. So would Shawn's if he were the one you'd run up to for protection.
I believe Sammy's current relationship with Chad accurately reflects the sort of arrangement that would result from this.
And after reading more of Steven's story, breathe play doesn't seem so bad to me anymore. Again, what made me scared of it was the assumed risk; what if they held my breath too long? What if I passed out and didn't wake up? What if they got a little too rowdy and things went just a little too far? I think that is always a risk when it comes to hazing antics and the culture. It's irrational once we apply a little bit of common sense and logic. Chad Brody, and the crew are all experienced in these hazing tactics. They've all probably experienced the same thing Sammy did to varying degrees, well except Chad who I think probably hasn't experienced it, based on what Brody said in the final chapters, BUT they all have experience providing this hazing experience. They know just when to stop, how much to do, and when it becomes unsafe.
Even Brody understood this when he was hazing the narrator. So as an updated answer to the Brody/Chad question, I'd except my fate and report to Brody. He wants me, he looks cute enough, he does all the things to me that I like, the only real problem is I don't think we have as strong of a connection as I could form with Chad. Or rather I don't think Brody would ever give me meaningful affection, or even just call me a Good Boy every once in awhile, but I suppose anything is possible. We haven't seen enough of Brody to know how much he would show affection to scrawny, weak boy he claims and owns as his alone. Of all the different themes of Bondagefreak's stories, a lesser talked about but still valid one is people can surprise you and they often hide more complex and interesting traits under the surface. And even if there's nothing more to Brody than just raw dog domination and extreme hazing, it's a whole experience I can confidently say I'd enjoy.
