The sheer terror of being completely unable to control your life... I've been thinking about this too much but presumably Artis keyed the sleep command to his own voice, or Rolland would just fall over in a store overhearing the word "sleep"...

I think my favorite part of this story was Rolland's take down. As I previously said, he was really becoming unhinged and it was just the matter of time before he seriously hurt someone. He wasn't even worthy of the dom title, he was just an abuser for his own gain. And while it was definitely sprinkled with some fantasy elements, I like how Artis beat the bully. Or atleast we think it did. Only time will tell of Rolland takes what he's learning and uses it in a way that's good for everyone.

Overall, another great story. The Mafia story that's up next sounds intriguing! Though I think I'm slightly more excited for the story with Luke's roommate. Definitely need to know how that turns out. But that can wait for now!!

Yeah Artis' plan better work or he's truly fucked. I'm excited to write the next few sequels (Mafia game and later Luke+Roommate), though Rolland will be noticably absent since it's during his training.

Of course, I loved Artis making an appearance, along with our new friend Jeremiah. But I really loved Luke getting to take control and enjoy his initial time with Selim!

Loved loved loved this. Like I said before, I'm most interested in shifting power dynamics and lots of captures/escapes, so I wasn't as interested in this story at first. But once more characters than Luke and Selim turned up, I was hooked! That said, Luke's inner thoughts as he puzzles out why, as a dom, he keeps putting himself in situations where it's not only possible, but likely, he'll be overpowered and tied up was extremely interesting and mirrors a lot of thoughts I've had myself.

I'm happy that different part resonated with different people. I was worried the switch from it being a small scale just-2-people thing to an ensemble story would be jarring, but I think it worked out well having something for everyone.

Also ADORE that it looks like his roommate is interested in joining in! Who can blame him? He's been getting non-stop alerts of his hot roomie nude and tied up for the last few weeks! ROFL. The only question is, which side of the ropes is he interested (or willing to admit interest) in being on?

Looking forward to the next game these guys come up with!

Super pumped to eventually share the roomie story. I'm still gathering ideas for that, but I got some threads I might end up following. Gonna save that until after Mafia story though - my favorite stuff to write are bondage games. If anyone haa any ideas for Luke+Roommate though I'd love to hear them as I collect my thoughts.

The hypnosis angle in the last couple chapters was unexpected. As someone with a hypno-kink let's just say I was not unhappy about it (and was also amused when the straight-up brainwashing didn't work but the trigger-word did). Hypnosis of course lends itself very easily to lots of betrayals and role-reversals (ie the stories I like best!). Anyone might be a sleeper agent, hypnotized without realizing. An evil hypnotist might take down a group of friends one by one, turning them against each other, etc etc. Not that I necessarily want Artis to go down that road, buuuuuuut...

Glad y'all liked the hypnotism! I'd loved reading the hypnotism stuff in your story Blackbound, and one of my old favorite stories from metalbondynyc site involved someone kidnapping someone, locking them in a cage, and hypnotizing them. It was fun to finally write a hypnotism thing.

Also to be totally honest idk if the Artis think about kinds of hypnosis that work was true lol. I just went with that angle because I'd seen it in a show (entirely not kinky) once and also thought the word-that-acts-like-chloroform paired with training Rolland in his right mind could be hot. I feel like there's so much cool shit to do with hypnosis that I didn't touch on here though... Who knows maybe in a future story.

Irl I played with a guy who told me he'd been hypnotized to be sunny whenever he had a baseball cap on. He tied me up and I broke free and got my hat on him while he was watching TV and he immediately went full sub for me. Idk how much of that was true hypnotism vs how much was him playing a role but either way it worked for me.

Right!? The horror that at any point you could just wake up and be trapped somewhere has to weigh on someone. Or be incredibly hot. Or a little of both. Very fun to fantasize and write about
