Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

Synopsis: Kathrin, the narrator, is the mayor of her little town. She is also member of the historic guild. But whenever she tries to join their activities people approach her as Mrs. Mayor because of their various affairs. If only they wouldn't recognise her or, if they still did, if she just couldn't speak.

She has a Scold's Bridle made at the local blacksmith. It works just fine, she can't speak, people can't see her face. And people - the blacksmith, her husband, the police officer - treat her differently, not like Mrs. Mayor anymore, rather like some convict.

To explain to her guild why she chose to wear a Scold's Bridle she let the chairman read a parchment, signed, stamped and sealed by the mayor of the town, that she is sentenced to wear the mask until she better her ways. And who would question a verdict directly from the mayor?

And what has this to do with her previous 'green hair phase' and with this guild girl 'Barbara the Volunteer'?
