Welcome everyone, to Boss Rush! This is a story I've been thinking an talking about with @Volobond, and it's finally planned out enough for me to start posting! It is part of my larger Weekendverse, and takes place after all the currently published stories, so we will see the likes of Markus, Peter, and the others as the story goes on, but they are not the main characters! Also, Luke's Crew is still my first priority, so I cannot make promises on when this story will get updated while that story is still releasing! Part 1: You Died
YOU DIED
Big red letters on an otherwise black screen. The couple stared at the screen, but with very different reactions. “You good, Yosh?” Casey asked, looking up and behind him, craning his neck to rest on the seat of the couch in between his boyfriend’s legs.
He waited to say more. Not that he could do much else. Casey Hardwick had spent most of the afternoon trapped in his boyfriend’s ropes. “Ambushed” after getting back from the gym, he hadn’t even had time to shower or change. He sat on the floor in his boots, jeans, and loose, open black sleeveless. Soft ropes pinned his arms to his chest, his wrists to his thighs, and his ankles together.
“It’s fine.” Yoshi said flatly, rubbing Casey’s messy dark brown hair for luck as he picked up the controller and continued playing.
Yoshi, Yoshikatsu Hashimoto, tried to focus as he ran back toward the boss that had just kicked his ass. It wasn’t easy with his giant boyfriend bound and helpless in front of him. But that’s just where he wanted Casey. The smaller man had been waiting for his boyfriend all morning. As soon as Casey unlocked the apartment door, Yoshi pounced, dragging his massive beau inside and towards the counter where the rope was waiting.
Yoshi guided him to his spot on the floor in front of the couch, and the pair settled in. Yoshi was shirtless, but had an oversized cardigan draped over himself. His loose, baggy jeans were comfortable, and he absentmindedly explored his bound boyfriend with his bare feet.
“I still don’t understand how you play these games.” Casey commented, watching the monstrous soldiers knock Yoshi’s character back, nearly throwing the character off a narrow stone bridge. “It isn’t easy, so it isn’t relaxing. I just don’t get how you can enjoy giving yourself all this stress.”
Yoshi found a relatively safe spot in the area he was exploring and stopped. He placed his hand over Casey’s mouth, and pressed down with an impressive strength. “Hush.” A simple command.
Simple. But hard for Casey to follow.
Casey was silent for a few more minutes, until Yoshi died again. He couldn’t help but comment, “How many times have you beaten this game?” He regretted it immediately. It came out harsher than he’d intended. “I didn’t mean it like that! I swear!”
Yoshi gave Casey’s head an annoyed, playful thump. “I’ve beaten Dark Souls like 8 times now.” He pressed on towards the boss, growing more frustrated. “It’s just not an easy game. But that’s the point.”
Casey shook his head. He often found himself in this situation, the bondage toy for his boyfriend to play with while he gamed. He didn’t mind. But he hated seeing Yoshi get so upset, and for no reason. “I just don’t get it. These games look so frustrating. Why not play an easier game? Ya know, relax, unwind?”
“I’m having fun, Case, don’t worry. Besides, the feeling when you accomplish things in these games, that rush of satisfaction after all the frustration and slamming your head in the wall over and over again? Euphoric!”
“Sure it is…” Casey grumbled as he adjusted, his ass having fallen asleep from sitting on the rug so long. Yoshi’s leg rested on his shoulder, the bare foot nudging against Casey’s crotch.
“You’re just jealous I’m not giving you the same focus, right?”
“No!” Casey answered a bit too quickly. “I just hate seeing you upset.”
Yoshi stopped and leaned over so he could kiss his beautiful boyfriend. He then dangled the controller in front of Casey. “Would you like to play?” He waved it back and forth. “I think you’d find a new appreciation for it…”
Casey rolled his eyes. “I’m sure I would…” He wiggled and grabbed uselessly at the controller. “But I seem a bit tied up at the moment…”
“I could always adjust the ropes so you could…” Yoshi then stopped, and Casey knew that he was thinking. And when his boyfriend started thinking, especially when talking about tying him up, it never ended well for Casey.
“Yosh…?”
“I’ve just had an idea…” He settled back onto the couch and scrolled on his phone for a few moments.
Casey once again strained to try and see his man behind him. “Uh, do I get to know this idea?”
“Eventually.” Yoshi and his one word answers always made Casey roll his eyes.
Yoshi leaned over and reached into Casey’s gym bag where it rested against the couch and fished out one of his boyfriend’s socks. Casey didn’t fight as it was crammed into his mouth, followed by a few strips of silver duct tape. Casey was regretting now that he hadn’t shaved this morning before the gym. He’d planned on doing it tomorrow…
“That’s enough questions.” Yoshi said. “I need to focus and you’re too distracting.”
“Mmmmrrre?” Casey mumbled in an offended tone.
“Yes.” Another one word answer. Yoshi picked the controller back up and continued exploring the deadly world of Dark Souls.
“Hmmmmm mmmmmpph gmmmmmmrrrrmmmmph…” Casey continued to grumble as Yoshi’s foot continued to stimulate him through his tight jeans.
“If you keep distracting me, I’ll lock you in the closet until we have to get ready for dinner…
“Fmmmmmn.” Casey nodded, and settled in to silently watch his gamer boyfriend play.

A week later, Casey had all but forgotten Yoshi’s idea. He hadn’t been ambushed after the gym. He’d been able to shower, grab a small yogurt and fruit snack, and was now relaxing on their couch, some background youtube video playing on the TV.
Their apartment was small, just a basic one bedroom, but was more than enough space for the pair. Casey’s style was pretty minimal, but Yoshi and his various nerdy hobbies more than made for it, and books, board games, gaming accessories and the like cluttered most available surfaces. The gray and white plaid couch and chairs had been hand-me-down gifts from Casey’s grandparents when he first moved out, and Casey had never seen the need to replace them. Yoshi had provided the giant TV and console, as well as the wavy gray and blue rug.
Casey was reviewing the updated nutrition plan Connor, his personal trainer, had just sent him, when a box flew out of nowhere and hit him in the face.
“What the fu-!” Casey said as he picked up the box.
“Shit! Sorry!” Yoshi appeared from the entry to their apartment.
Casey examined the package. And froze. “What’s this?”
Yoshi smiled. A wicked, knowing smile. “Exactly what it looks like.”
Casey rolled his eyes. His boyfriend loved to be cryptic. “No, I mean… why?”
“Remember my idea? It’s more of a challenge.” He settled onto the couch next to Casey and picked up his gaming controller. “You’re going to play Dark Souls. I want you to experience just how fun the frustration can be. You’d be surprised how much of a stress relief it can be.”
But Casey scrunched his eyebrows. He held up the box. “And this?”
“That’s the challenge! I’m going to lock you up until you beat the game, and then one day for each death!” Yoshi beamed at his idea. He took the box and began unpacking the black silicone chastity cage and held it up for Casey to see. “Ready to play?”

I like this premise, it's also quite cute and comforting, like some sort of soft bondage core, can't wait to see it play out, will he beat the game or will the game beat Yoshi? ;p
Great start! Because of some personal experiences I really like when video games and kink intersect. Adding some irl motivation in the way of chastity is such a cool idea. And just in time for loctober!

@DeeperThanRed I'm of two minds on this debate. On the one hand, I see Yoshi's point of that feeling of satisfaction when succeeding. On the other hand, Casey is right about what is supposed to be a relaxing hobby causing more stress! I'm currently struggling through Hollow Knight, and I've reached the point near the end of the game where I just am not skilled enough to succeed anymore!
@Bound Down Thank you! It's an idea I've been playing around with for the last month or so, and I finally had time to flesh out enough details! I am excited to share more about Yoshi and Casey!
@CaptiveDan I was inspired when talking to @Volobond about challenging video games, and thought, how evil would it be to add a chastity challenge to a game like Dark Souls? And thus, Casey and Yoshi's story! And, honestly, until you mentioned it, I'd forgotten that it was almost October/Loctober! What a happy coincidence!

Haha, I don't game like I use to (pretty rare actually these days) and I'm unfamiliar with this particular game however I know exactly about challenging video games. Supposed to be fun but often can be stressful at the same time. The Metal Gear franchise was one of my ventures into just how stressful the boss fights could be. But I think the game that broke me years ago was trying to beat Call of Duty World at War on veteran difficulty so I could get the platinum trophy. I had so much much rage at that game but I was determined to get that damn trophy!
I wish Casey luck. Maybe he's gifted with video games and has nothing to worry about. But chances are he'll be spending quite a bit of time locked up
@bond_G I'm serious, I'd love to hear official bets on how long poor Casey will be locked up! But I also suspect its going to be longer than he is expecting!
@Red86 The Dark Souls series are notorious for being purposefully challenging games, so Casey has his work cut out for him! Maybe he'll surprise Yoshi, us, and himself with a secret video game playing talent, but Yoshi isn't going to make it easy for him!

@justinlogget obviously, we'll have to wait and see as we learn more about these two, but you are right that Yoshi is typically the one in control in their dynamic. But Like I said, never say never with my penchant for writing switches!

Part 2: Undead Asylum
“Hell No!” Casey exclaimed. “Yosh, you are not locking my junk up!”
Yoshi smiled. “Yes, I am.”
And Yoshi lunged. Small as he was compared to his boyfriend, he never let that stop him from taking Casey down. He grabbed Casey’s broad shoulders and turned his hunky boyfriend away from him and pushed him over the arm of the sofa. He pulled Casey’s arms behind his back and tried his best to hold them in place while he fished the coil of rope out of his pocket.
Casey didn’t willingly wait for his boyfriend to rope him up. He thrashed, breaking free of Yoshi’ hold. He scrambled over the side of the couch and out of his boyfriend’s grasp.
“Yoshi! Let’s talk about this!” He cried, backing away from his determined assailant. “You can’t just decide to put me in a cage for… weeks? I get to have a say!”
Yoshi smirked and continued advancing on his larger, begging boyfriend. “Ok, let’s talk.” He held up the rope and the cage. “I want to put this cage on you. I want to hold your key. I want you to earn getting it unlocked. I want to see you enjoy this hobby I enjoy. So I’m going to do that.”
Yoshi began advancing again, and began spinning his finger around, indicating that Casey should turn around.
“Yoshi! Come on! You really want to lock it away? That’s cruel and unusual punishment! For both of us!” But even as Casey begged, he turned around and allowed his wrists to be bound tightly in Yoshi’s practiced knots.
Yoshi stood up on his tiptoes and whispered into Casey’s ear, “Do you trust me?”
Casey shivered. “Yes. Damn it, Yosh, I do. I hate you right now, but yes, I trust you.”
Yoshi led Casey back to the couch and sat him back down. He retreated into the bedroom and quickly collected more rope and a blindfold. Yoshi knelt and bound Casey’s ankles together, then he tossed the long, loose rope under the couch. He hopped up and gathered up the rope and fed it up from the back of the sofa and looped the ends of the rope under Casey’s armpits and tied them off behind his head. Casey was now bound hand and foot, and also bound around the couch itself.
Yoshi didn’t want his boyfriend to struggle or wiggle away when he put the cage on. Of course, there was one more issue to resolve.
Casey, in being manhandled and roped up, was sporting a massive hard-on.
And Yoshi knew that his boyfriend was going to hate this next part…
Yoshi left Casey on the couch to struggle and made his way to the kitchen. He collected a bowl full of ice and confidently made his way back to his struggling boyfriend. Casey was seemingly in shock about the situation he found himself in, because he didn’t register what Yoshi was doing until it was almost too late.
Yoshi swiftly yanked Casey’s gym shorts down and then placed the bowl of ice in between Casey’s impressive thighs. He pressed his boyfriend’s impressively hard member down.
“AAHHHH FUCK!” Casey called out as the frozen sensation shot into his dick. “FUCK FUCK FUCK! I H-H-HATE YOU!”
Yoshi smiled and waited for the ice to do its work. He didn’t have to wait long, as Casey began to shrink in the cold. Soon, he was ready for the cage.
Yoshi wasted no time. He fit the silicone ring over Casey’s dick and balls, then guided his flaccid member into the waiting cage, and finally connected everything with the provided miniature padlock. He held the keys up in front of Casey’s eyes and then kissed him.
“Thank you for trusting me with this, Case. You look so good right now.”
Casey huffed but returned the kiss. “Don’t make me regret this… Now, untie me and let me start this damn game!”
Yoshi laughed and pulled Casey’s gym socks off his feet. He balled them up and shoved them in his boyfriend’s gaping mouth. “Not yet! Keep those in until I remove them or I’ll add a day immediately!” Yoshi guided the blindfold over Casey’s brunet curls, and tightened it over his beautiful chocolatey brown eyes. “I still need to hide this key! Otherwise you’ll just try and unlock yourself the moment I untie you!” He playfully caressed Casey’s locked dick. “Now, sit tight, and I’ll be right back!”
“Mmmmmm hhhrrrmmmmmggg mmmmmmfff!” Casey growled into his socks and continued to struggle.

Yoshi booted up the game and settled onto the couch next to where Casey remained mostly restrained. He’d been freed of his blindfold and sock gag, and his wrists had been untied, but his ankles and the connecting rope around his armpits and shoulders remained securely fashioned.
“So, some ground rules for the challenge”, Yoshi began as the game started. “Every death equals one day you remain locked. But those days don’t start until you beat the game. You’ll remain locked the entire time it takes you to beat the game. So if it takes you a month to beat the game and you die fifty times, those fifty days don’t start until the day after you finish the game. Makes sense?”
Casey glumly nodded.
“I’m keeping the key hidden. So don’t even think about trying to find it. If there is ever a reason that we need to remove the cage, I’ll handle that, and if needed, the box comes with some handy little zipties, so metal detectors won’t be an issue!”
“Great…”
“It sure is!” Yoshi beamed. “Now, I’m not heartless! I’m going to be right beside you the entire time, to help you, or give you some hints and pointers as needed. Now, those hints might have a price attached, but that’s a risk you’ll just have to take! And of course, I won’t count any deaths in the starting area. That’d be cruel.”
“Great…” Casey repeated. He looked down at the black cage covering his junk and uncomfortably squeezing his manhood.
“Yoshi navigated the menus of the character creator. “I figure we’ll make you a warrior. It’s basic, but easy enough to learn and they get plenty of good equipment options throughout the game. We can always change it later if you want.”
“Sure. Whatever’s gonna help get this over with sooner.”
Casey sat and watched as Yoshi expertly navigated through the character creation and ended up with a strong looking warrior that resembled Casey himself… or as best as Yoshi could manage with the older character options. “Lockston.” Yoshi typed in. “That’s a great name for your warrior, don’t you think?”
“I’ve mentioned hating you, right? I’m not sure if you heard me.”
“And we’ll choose the Tiny Being’s Ring. Raises your HP…”
Yoshi then handed the controller to Casey as the beginning cutscene started. “Welcome to the Undead Asylum!” Yoshi exclaimed as a zombified version of Lockston fell into a dingy prison cell. “Your Dark Souls adventure begins!”
Casey sat up straighter, or tried to before being forced back by the ropes still pinning him to their couch. He collected the items available to him and began getting a feel for the controls. A roll, a slash, the green stamina bar quickly disappearing.
“Jeez, I’m so slow.” Casey complained as he misjudged his swing distance and missed an approaching skeleton.
“You’ll get used to it.” Yoshi commented. “A lot of this game is just getting used to the controls. Finding a way to work with them, otherwise they will be your worst enemy!”
Amazingly, Casey navigated the narrow, dark hallways of the asylum, and managed to find the first bonfire. He lit it and sat down, then looked at Yoshi.
“These are save points. Whenever you rest at one, you restore your health and healing items, but you also reset all the enemies you’ve killed, except bosses. They are also your checkpoints. Whenever you die, you come back to the last bonfire you rested at. Eventually, you’ll be able to fast travel to different bonfires too. You’ll also level up at bonfires when you have enough points. They do it all!”
“But I can’t level up yet, right?” Casey asked when the esoteric and confusing level up menu appeared on the screen.
“Correct. Not yet.” Yoshi walked his boyfriend through the experience system and basic level up information. “It’s a lot, but don’t worry, I’m here to help! Now, just head through those doors…”
Casey obliged, opening up the massive doors and walking into the first boss arena. Unknowingly, Casey guided Lockston forward until a massive, obese, winged demon monster fell from the sky and landed in front of him. Casey shouted and immediately started swinging his sword at the Asylum Demon.
“What the fuck!” Casey shouted. “I do no damage! This is the first boss? Why does this game hate you!?!?”
Lockston fell, crushed by the demon. And again… And again…
Yoshi couldn’t stop smiling at his boyfriend’s frustration.
“Yosh! This is impossible! Stop smiling! Fuck I’m never getting out…”
Yoshi leaned in and began peppering Casey’s neck with kisses. “Do you want a hint? It’ll cost you…”
“You’re a real bastard, you know that Katsu?” Casey grumbled as he readied his sword for another doomed fight against the demon of the tutorial zone.
It's great to see our favorite gamer couple again! For all his grumbling, Casey is surprisingly lenient with his boyfriend's directions. I can see why Yoshi likes to tease him so much!
Also, Casey should be grateful - Yoshi could always make him play without untying him.

As someone who is horrible at soulsborne games my only hope for getting free would be ambushing my partner and torturing the location of the key out of him lol.
Give me a roguelike though and I'd be out of chastity in two weeks flat.
For story purposes of course I hope our poor protagonist has a long road of chastity ahead of him
