As @wataru14 and @KidnappedCowboy have already said, I am in love with the growing relationship between Rusty and Mick. There's definitely something there. Not sure what, yet, but there is something. Of course, I am in favor of Mick getting more involved as the story goes on, perhaps as a bargaining chip. But I also love the idea of him actually following through with his threats to chain Rusty down so our danger prone detective stays out of trouble, at least for a chapter, the unexpected twist of Mick wanting to protect his friend!

It would be interesting to see if Leo ever saunters into that joint, slips Mick a Mickey, nabs him, and plays more than a game of cat and mouse with Rusty with Mick's life hanging by a thread.

I love how each chapter has shown off a unique capture and unique restraint method! It's real fun reading how our detective gets in and out of these perilous situations!
