I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

"Absolutely no!"
Maggie slammed the door in face of Rod and began to cry in rage. That dumb boy had tried once again to invite her for a dinner in a pizza restaurant with his dumbest friends, the kind of teens you expect some bad surprise from. Being fifteen, Maggie, a brunette with an independent spirit, had begun to be more careful to the males who tried to approach her. At least, her mother continued to advice her to give them not so much trust.
But at fifteen Maggie, in the deep of her heart, dreamed of a big love with a good natured boy.
Rod was tall and athletic, but his IQ was not as high as him. Many other girls should have looked at her as a crazy person for having refused hus court, but she was too smart to accept an idiot as her boyfriend.
And so she followed to stay alone, despite many boys around her trying their chance.
Around that time, a new pupil, coming from another side of the town, began to attend classes in her high school. He was a brown haired fifteen years old like her, 5'8, slim and with a shy smile. He was too quiet for not been spotted by the school bullies.
An afternoon, two of them cornered him and began to torment him. The other kids watched the scene without intervening.
Maggie saw what was happening and seeing a decent boy tormented by those idiotic guys, decided to take action defending him.
"Uh-uh, the pansy need the help of a girl", one of the bully said.
"Shut up, Nelson", Maggie said staring straight towards him, "he has got more brain that your whole company!"
Nelson an the other buddy ended to harass the boy.
"You're lucky you are a girl", said Nelson in a hiss, "or we should have used with you the same treatment". Then they left.
The boy was embarrassed. "Thank you, but you have put yourself in danger. I should have been able to defend myself..."
"No more words", said Maggie, "I don't like when someone is bullied."
A second of silence. Then: "What's your name?"
"Edgar. Edgar Smith. And yours?"
'Maggie Connelly."
"Thanks Maggie."
"It's not that important."
Maggie took a deep look of Edgar's blue eyes and Edgar did the same thing with her green eyes.
Someone who had witnessed the whole scene began to whisper. Maggie and Edgar realised that a bunch of kids were watching at them and both blushed.

They began sharing a lot of time together. The other boys and girl were at the same time envious and suspicious, but it was clear that they were having a good time together. Maggie and Edgar were both fans of 90s punk rock, from Green Day to Offspring, and they spent a lot of hours listening music together.
Maggie's mother studied carefully that shy boy and understood that her daughter had eventually found the right guy. If only she had had a better chance when she was young...
Maggie's father was a stockbroker, a man whose second house was Wall Street, but he ended up in a scheme concocted by the boss of his firm - and not by chance but because he was his sidesick. He was jailed and his wife asked for a divorce.
The woman was an entrepreneur. She worked in the field of cosmetics and she was relatively wealthy. For her, after the divorce, had become difficult to trust men. But in this case, Edgar seemed an exception. Good natured and intelligent. So she gave her endorsment to the friendship between Maggie and him.

Bill Gilles, Maggie's father, now was out from prison. But he had not changed. He followed conceiving various schemes and now he had become a con artist. By his side there was Samantha, a woman with a bad reputation and a love for men with no concern for the other people.
The man desired to see again his daughter. But Edith, his former wife, had asked for a restraining order against him and he wasn't able to meet the girl.
Day after day, the desire became grudge against Edith. He should have met Maggie in every way possible, spending a lot of time with her. By hook or by crock.
