Chapter 11: A Short Break

A new morning had arrived, and the first rays of sunlight began to slip through the old curtains hanging over the cabin windows where the tired boys and their camp counselors still slept. From the direction of the kitchen came the smell of pastries the cook was preparing for their breakfast. The camp was wrapped in that special, slowed-down calm that followed a hard-fought battle the day before.

In the leaders’ cabins, occasional sounds hinted that some were already awake. From one, the rhythmic sound of heavy breathing could be heard. It was Jason, already hard at training since early morning. His arms moved in a steady rhythm as he did push-ups, muscles tightening with each repetition, as he counted silently in his head. He wore only dark green shorts, the color of his team, and white sport socks. A clean white T-shirt laid on his bed, waiting for him to put on after he finished his workout. In the bed next to him, Ethan was buried in his pillow, still unwilling to open his eyes.

“Come on, sleepyhead! Aren’t you going to join me?” Jason called out with a half-smile, not stopping his push-ups. “Look at this beautiful day, perfect for new victories! And here you are, sulking like we just lost again.” Ethan mumbled something incoherent, turning his back to Jason. He could still taste the bitter, salty sting of humiliation from the day before.

Jason suddenly pushed himself up, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and stepped over to Ethan’s bed. “Come on, get up. There’s no defeat you can’t make up for in the next game.”

“I’m not in the mood…” Ethan muttered.

Jason chuckled and, without warning, jumped onto Ethan’s bed, starting a friendly wrestling match. Ethan tried to push him off, but Jason, already warmed up from his workout, quickly wrapped his arms around Ethan’s neck, locking him in a Nelson hold. “You know, I could keep you like this all day if you insist on drowning in self-pity.”

Ethan resisted at first, but eventually burst out laughing. “Okay, okay, you win!” he said as Jason let him go—though with slight reluctance. “I’m getting up, satisfied?” Ethan added, raising his hands theatrically in surrender. “Now I’ve tired you out a bit, let’s see if you can outdo me,” he said with a grin, pulling off his shirt and dropping to the floor to join Jason in push-ups. “That’s the spirit,” Jason said with a wide smile.

In another leaders’ cabin, Dylan was the first to be up. He had already put on a freshly washed dark gray T-shirt and black shorts. His sunglasses hung from the collar, and his hair was neatly styled. On the other side of the room, Tyler stood by a small aquarium on a wooden shelf, sprinkling food for his pet fish. Tiny golden flakes fell to the surface of the water, and the little fish darted eagerly toward them.

“You could serve me breakfast too,” Cameron mumbled from his bed, stretching like a cat. His dark curls were messy, and his face still carried the haze of sleep.

“You could finally get up yourself,” Dylan replied in a tone that sounded more like gentle teasing than an actual rebuke. “Actually, it’d be more fitting for you to serve us breakfast, right, Tyler? After all, he’s the only loser in the room,” Dylan added, smirking as he leaned an elbow on Tyler’s shoulder.

“How long are you going to keep that up? It’s not like it matters who won,” Cameron muttered, turning over.

Dylan just smiled and shook his head, while Tyler stared thoughtfully at the fish—a rare sight for someone usually so cheerful. His mind drifted back to Noah. He knew what had happened yesterday couldn’t go unpunished. He hated even imagining Ethan having to face Noah again without something being done. The moment when he had punished Jimmy—stuffing a sock into his mouth despite Jimmy’s pleading—flashed in his mind. Did I go too far? I can’t punish Noah the same way, even though he deserves worse… Tyler thought. Chaotic as he could be, injustice really bothered him, and he always tried to find the right way to deal with anyone who disrupted camp order.

After breakfast, Tyler strode sharply toward the Yellow Lynxes’ cabin, where Noah was. Soon, shouts and insults spilled from that direction, nothing unusual when Tyler got into a heated argument.

“You stupid moron! Who do you think you are?!” Tyler yelled at Noah inside the cabin, while the other boys watched fearfully from the corner.

“You’d better watch what you say!” Noah shot back defiantly.

“Me? You’d better watch yourself before I split you in two! You’re going to apologize to Ethan right now, you got that, idiot?!” Tyler barked.

“I’m not apologizing to your stinky friend, he got exactly what he deserved!” Noah replied, still defiant, while the other Lynx boys sighed, shocked at his boldness, or foolishness—in talking to his superior that way.

Tyler saw red. He raised his hand, ready to deliver a disciplinary slap, when Dylan burst into the room and stopped him. “Heeey! Easy, Ty. What’s gotten into you? You know we can’t do that.”

“That jerk deserves it!” Tyler replied, his tone slightly calmer.

“I’m sure he does. Maybe I can book him a session with my mom when he gets home, she’s a psychologist. But we can’t hit them…” Dylan kept his voice level, trying to cool things down.

Tyler turned back to Noah and, in an utterly calm tone, said, “If you don’t apologize to him by tomorrow morning, pack your stuff, I’ll ask Parker and insist to kick you out of camp.”

“We’ll see…” Noah said coolly. Tyler locked eyes with him one last time before leaving. What he saw disturbed him—those pitch-black eyes, paired with a sly smirk. There was something dark, evil and twisted inside that boy that sent a faint chill through him.

The rest of the day passed more peacefully. Two short games filled the afternoon. The first, an archery contest, brought the Red Hawks a well-earned victory. The sound of taut bowstrings and the dull thud of arrows striking targets echoed through the yard, each hit met with shouts of encouragement. Ethan stood to the side, watching his boys celebrate, and felt his smile slowly return.

The second game, tug of war, went to the Green Wolves. Jason’s strength and determination made the difference; his boys pulled the rope over the line almost in one motion, defeating every other team in turn. As they won, their voices rang across the camp, and Jason raised his fist high in the air. Dylan watched and quietly muttered to Tyler, “Hmm. The only game he can win is the one where you don’t have to use your brain,” then chuckled at his own joke.

Mr. Parker announced the prizes—the winning teams could order whatever they wanted from the cook. The Wolves shouted in unison for giant pizzas, while the Hawks chose Ethan’s favorite cake. When the boys told him it was their little way of thanking him for always being there for them, even when they lost, Ethan felt his throat tighten. He just murmured a quiet “thanks” and shrugged, but his smile said it all.

Evening came softly, bathed in the warm orange glow of sunset. The breeze carried the smell of pine and the gentle rustle of leaves. Cameron sat with Ethan and Jason in their cabin, while Tyler was outside with Dylan. Suddenly, one of the Yellow Lynxes came running toward them.

“Tyler! Quick! Some of our guys are fighting in the old storage shed!”

Without hesitation, Tyler sprinted after him. His heart pounded as his white sneakers kicked up dust on the trail. When he arrived, the shed door was half open. Oddly, there were no sounds of fighting inside, but he rushed in anyway. Almost immediately, he heard the door slam shut behind him. Before he could reach it, the boy who had brought him there slid a wooden beam across it, locking it.

Realizing he was trapped, Tyler shouted, “Hey! What the hell are you doing? This better be a joke, or you’re in serious trouble!”

“Relax. Nothing’s gonna happen to you. I just want to have a calm talk…” came a voice from the corner. It was dark inside, but Tyler knew that voice well—it was Noah, slowly stepping toward him. From the other side of the shed, Liam approached nervously, holding a big roll of duct tape.

“You two? What exactly do you think you’re doing? And what’s with that tape?” Tyler demanded in disbelief.

“Well… we figured you’d make a scene, so we decided to make sure you’d stay calm and quiet. Soooo… You know what’s going to happen... As for the tape—Ben wouldn’t go along with this, I’ll be occupied with something else, and Liam’s not great with knots, so… this’ll be easier. At least for him.”

“You two think you’re gonna tie me up?” Tyler burst out laughing. “You’re even dumber than I thought,” he said through uncontrollable laughter, then lunged at Liam, knocking him to the floor and grabbing the duct tape from his hand.

Liam began to panic, calling for Noah to help, while Noah remained in his corner of the shed.

“Noah! Come on already, what are you waiting for?!” Liam shouted nervously as Tyler pinned his arms behind his back with his knees and began peeling the duct tape with his hands.

“You just watch and wait! You’re next! Ohhh, I’m gonna enjoy this!” Tyler said gleefully, finally getting the tape started.

“Not as much as I will,” Noah replied with a grin, pulling something out of the wooden cabinet in the shed. Tyler froze, his eyes darting toward Noah…

Okay, it’s time to continue the story. I hope you’ll enjoy the beginning of the new season. Here is an AI picture of Tyler facing Liam in the cabin. The biggest problem with it is that Liam is supposed to be much younger (he was around 13 at the time) and smaller than Tyler, but at least you can have an idea how they looked. Tyler looked pretty similarly.

YES, YES A NEW SEASON of SUMMER CAMP Has begun at Camp Echo Pines

Oh OH the bully is at it again. I beginning not to like Noah and his little cronie Liam. (For some reason boys named LIAM always seem to cause trouble). I do believe these 2 need to be taught a lesson in the next few chapters. Noeh needs a real good tying up introduction to Swamp Thing out behind the swamp.

Great start for session 2, right where they left off. 🤗👏👏👏👏🤗

This was a very exciting beginning, I'm curious were this is going, and what Noah is going to use, to tie Tyler up. Can't think of anything that would help, aside from something absurd, like a gun. No idea, how he wants to make sure Tyler let himself get taped up.

Also curious, what his further plans are. I assume it will include some blackmail? Elsewise, Tyler would make sure the little shit gets thrown out.

Edit: I forgot to add, that I really like the relation of Ethan and Jason. I like, how you are taking the time to show it to us,it's really sweet and fun.

@FelixSH Thanks! I didn’t even plan to end this chapter on a cliffhanger, but that’s how it turned out. It’s not a gun, not a knife or anything like that. I guess that Noah had a more twisted mind than most people.

I’m especially glad you enjoyed the part with Jason and Ethan’s dynamic. In this season, I plan to spend more time developing the relationships between the leaders, since in the first one they were mostly separated and there wasn’t much opportunity to explore that in detail. So, not every chapter will jump straight from one tying-up scene to another. This time I’ll focus a bit more on the everyday interactions between the main characters, because I think that’s really important for capturing the real atmosphere in the camp. But also, you can be sure that tie-up games won’t be lacking. ;)

Chapter 12: The New Leader of the Yellow Lynxes

As Tyler was about to start wrapping tape around the helpless Liam’s hands, Noah, with a cold expression, slowly pulled a mysterious object out of the wooden cabinet. Tyler’s eyes widened in shock—he saw something in Noah’s hands that was deeply precious to him. It was his goldfish, Mimi—the last gift from his late mother, who had passed away a few years earlier. Although he had never told anyone in the camp why the fish meant so much to him, it was obvious Tyler was very attached to her.

“If I were you, I wouldn’t make any sudden, wrong moves! You know, my hands might start to shake, I could drop the aquarium, and then your slimy little friend would die gasping on dry land!” Noah said cruelly.

“Ha! Go ahead and try. You know I’m fast enough to get her into a new bowl before that happens and then you’re finished!” Tyler replied confidently.

“Get her where, genius? I personally poured out every drop of water from the storage room. The door’s closed, there’s no window, so how exactly are you going to save her? Besides, I could just ‘accidentally’ step on her and end her suffering…” Noah continued in his icy tone.

Tyler froze. Inside him, anger burned, but it was smothered by helplessness. He couldn’t believe Noah had spun such a perfect web and trapped him so easily. No, he wouldn’t do that, right? No sane person would, especially knowing what would follow, he thought. But then another thought came: No sane person would, but he’s not sane. Yes, this cruel, twisted brat would do it. And I wouldn’t be able to save Mimi. Tyler stayed silent, not knowing what to do or say.

“Come on, Tyler! Is the choice really that hard? Look, I just want to talk about what happened this morning. Sure, you’ll have to go through a little… re-education, since you dared to speak to me that way. But you have my word—once it’s over, both you and your fish will be unharmed. Sounds fair?” Noah tried to coax him.

Tyler stayed silent, knowing he couldn’t trust him.

“All right, let me make it easier for you,” Noah said calmly, starting to pour the water out of the aquarium.

No! Stop! You can do whatever you want to me, just leave her alone, okay?” Tyler shouted in panic.

“See, Liam? Didn’t I tell you he wouldn’t let us hurt his precious fish?” Noah said triumphantly. Tyler slowly let go of Liam, and both of them stood up. He handed Liam the duct tape, knowing what would come next, but to his surprise, Liam told him to keep it for now. “Don’t worry, the whole roll is meant for you anyway,” Liam added with a grin.

“All right, boss! Time to pay the price for playing the smart guy and the peacemaker. First, take off your shoes,” Noah ordered, still holding the aquarium at a safe distance from Tyler. Tyler gave him a puzzled look but did as he was told.

“Now kneel in front of Liam,” Noah continued giving orders.

“Oh, come on! What is this? I thought you were going to tie me up. What’s with these games?” Tyler grumbled irritably.

“Patience… Just do as you’re told and don’t ask too many questions. If you keep resisting and ignoring my orders, I’ll spill the water again,” Noah replied.

Tyler looked over at Liam—a 13-year-old boy with brown hair and green eyes. He wore a light yellow T-shirt, gray shorts, white sneakers, and gray ankle socks. Slowly, Tyler knelt in front of him, and Noah gave the next command: “Now listen carefully, Tyler. You’re going to take off Liam’s shoes and socks, stuff both socks into your mouth, and then put his shoes back on his feet.”

“What the hell—” Tyler started to protest, but Noah cut him off: “Do what you’re told! Be obedient, or you know what happens next!”

Tyler decided to give up on any further objections and began carrying out Noah’s orders with visible embarrassment. He took off Liam’s shoes, eyeing his socks with disgust.

“Don’t worry, they’re not too dirty. I put them on this morning,” Liam said reassuringly, failing to suppress a grin.

Tyler finally stuffed one sock into his mouth, instantly tasting a strange and unpleasant mix of detergent, sweat, and grime. He turned toward Noah, gesturing that the second sock wouldn’t fit, but Noah wasn’t having it. He insisted Tyler cram it in, which Tyler managed to do with great difficulty. His mouth was now completely full, unable to close properly. He went on with the instructions, sliding Liam’s sneakers back onto his feet.

“Now wrap the tape around your mouth,” came the next order, followed by constant shouts: “More! More! A little higher! Lower—underneath!” Tyler kept wrapping until the tape circled his head at least ten times, tearing it off only when Noah signaled that it was enough.

Liam then pulled over a larger wooden chair and motioned for Tyler to sit. Once Tyler was in place, Liam took the duct tape from his hands and began the more or less “standard” binding process.

Tyler’s arms were tightly taped behind the chair’s backrest, forcing painful grimaces from him as the tape tugged at the hairs around his wrists. It was especially uncomfortable when Liam began threading the tape between his wrists, pressed tightly together, pulling the whole roll through.

After that, Liam used up a good portion of the tape wrapping it around Tyler’s chest, shoulders, and stomach, securing him to the chair. Finally, Liam knelt down and started binding Tyler’s ankles over his black socks.

Tyler didn’t resist. He felt more and more powerless with each passing second. Even when the Red Hawks had captured him, he hadn’t felt this vulnerable. This time, it was boys from his own team tying him up and it wasn’t part of any game. He began to wonder if the entire team had turned against him, since Noah and Liam clearly hadn’t pulled this off alone. “Have the boys decided to make Noah their new leader, and now they’ve chosen to humiliate me like this? What did I do wrong? What did I do to deserve this?” Tyler’s thoughts spiraled.

“Wrap it around his knees and thighs too! It’ll be fun when he tries to peel it off from there,” Noah chuckled.

“Don’t worry, I was planning on it anyway. The socks will protect him down here,” Liam replied.

When Liam finally finished and Tyler was completely secured to the chair, Noah set the fish aquarium on the table and stepped closer to him.

“Wooow, nicely done, Liam!” Noah praised. “What an awkward situation for a camp leader, huh, Ty? Since you’ll be unable to perform your duties for a while, would you agree that I take over?” he asked theatrically, fully aware Tyler couldn’t answer.

“Silence means approval. So, Liam, you’re my witness — from now on, I’m the leader of the Yellow Lynxes! Ty here will have a little rest in this dark storage room,” Noah declared triumphantly.

“Now you know how your stinky buddy felt! Actually, you’ll know soon. And about that little slip-up of yours with the apology and the whole ‘kicked out of camp’ thing, I think it’s time we show you what happens if you ever say anything to Mr. Parker — including about this incident,” Noah said, turning to Liam. “Liam, the honor is yours!”

Liam turned and gave Noah a sharp slap. Noah flinched and scolded Liam for it being too weak, then slapped himself much harder. Tyler stared wide-eyed in shock.

“You see, if you keep acting smart, I’ll have my friends beat me up. Everyone saw you try to hit me today — including Dylan, who stopped you. I’ll say you did this to me. And then… you know who my dad is, right? You won’t just lose this lousy job — we’ll have you thrown in jail. Got it?” Noah laid out his plan, while Tyler just stared at him in utter shock.

“You underestimated me. You should’ve known how far I’m willing to go to get what I want. This is the price for your little mistake and I think you’ll agree it’s not too high. Next time, watch what you do and don’t mess with me!” Noah finished his monologue.

Noah and Liam were getting ready to leave when Noah suddenly shouted, “Ah, right! Almost forgot! This is necessary for you to experience the full charm of Ethan’s treatment.” He then took the duct tape and wrapped it around Tyler’s eyes. The next thing Tyler felt was a foul stench — his own shoe being taped over his nose. “At some point, someone will… you know… find you. Don’t even think about mentioning our names when they ask who did this to you, or else… you know…” Noah whispered before heading toward the door.

Liam knocked, signaling their friend to remove the wooden beam from the door. As Noah was about to step out, there was a sudden crack — the sound of breaking glass. “Ooooh, look, I hit the fish aquarium. What a shame! Sorry, Ty, it was… an accident,” Noah said with mock sympathy before bursting into uncontrollable laughter and leaving the room.

Tyler went wild, struggling with all his might to break free, but he couldn’t move an inch — he could barely even breathe. Soon he heard the sound of the beam being placed back over the door. Rage and helplessness boiled inside him — the knowledge that he couldn’t save his fish made his eyes well up with tears, which began to stream down beneath the sticky tape.

Meanwhile, the other leaders were getting ready for bed, completely unaware that Tyler was in trouble.

Oh, wow, that was gross of Noah. So he really killed the fish? I really hope, Tyler doesn't give in, due to the little shits threat. That he will get thrown out.

But considering what you wrote some time earlier, I get the feeling he will get through with it. Dunno, I hope Noah suffered in some way, what he did there was inexcusable.

I guess, that he licked blood with Noah. That he learned there, that the group leaders, despite their age can be taken down. Not sure, if he could do similar shit to the other leaders, and here, it really depends on the rest of Tylers group.

Anyway, we'll see. Did enjoy reading it, just saying, ugh, what a piece of shit.

The fate of the fish will be revealed in the next chapter. I think it’s clear that this scene was shown from Tyler’s perspective, with his hearing being the only sense he could rely on at that moment. As for Noah, the main problem with him was that he didn’t know when to stop, which will become very evident in the following chapter(s). ;)

Right, didn't realize that, and went with the unreliable narration. Well played. ;)

I am glad, that the fish is apparently well. Animal cruelty like this would have made Noah too horrible.

I mean, he still is awful, but it's a different level.

Anyway, looking forward to your next chapter. Tyler got it even worse than Ethan now it feels.

Chapter 13: In Search of Tyler

As time passed and night deepened, a slight chill settled over the camp. Tyler had already spent two hours tightly taped to a chair, locked inside the old, dark storage room. He could feel sweat stinging all over his body and wanted to scratch himself, but his hands were tied behind his back. He had already given up on trying to free himself. Sitting helplessly and motionless on the chair, he was forced to breathe in the awful stench of his sneaker, which Noah had stuck to his nose. His tears had stopped, but a lump still formed in his throat from what Noah had done to his little fish, Mimi.
Meanwhile, Noah and Liam returned triumphantly to the Yellow Lynxes’ cabin, while their roommates expected Tyler to come say goodnight, as he always did.

“Guys, Tyler’s a little… busy… He won’t be able to come. He put me in charge while he’s absent, so I’m the leader of the team now!” Noah said with a wide grin on his face.

“Put you in charge? Don’t be ridiculous, we all saw him almost slap you this morning,” Ben said, confused.

“If you don’t believe me, ask Liam,” Noah replied curtly, while Liam just nodded with a wicked smile.

“So then you must have accepted to apologize to Ethan, right?” Ben continued, pressing him.

“To apologize? Me? Of course! You’ll see tomorrow morning how I apologize to him!” Noah said in a rather unpleasant tone. “Now, everyone to bed! That’s my order as the leader!” he continued.

While the boys were getting ready for bed, Jason and Ethan were in their cabin happily discussing the victories their teams had scored that day. Jason was glad that Ethan’s mood had lifted and that he had gotten over the situation with Noah relatively quickly. Deep down, he knew he was partly responsible for that, which made him feel even better.

In the cabin next door, Dylan began to worry about Tyler, while Cameron lay drowsily on his bed. Though naturally reserved, Dylan considered Tyler his best friend at camp, which explained why he showed this degree of concern, only for him.

“He’s been gone for two hours! Something must have happened… He just went to break up his boys who were fighting,” Dylan said anxiously.

“Relax, you’re worrying for nothing… You know Ty, he’s probably still scolding them or thinking of how to punish them,” Cameron mumbled, turning to the other side to sleep.

Dylan nervously left the cabin with a flashlight to search for Tyler. He first checked the Lynxes’ cabin, but was even more surprised to realize they were already asleep and Tyler wasn’t with them.

Then Dylan remembered that one of the Lynxes had said the fight had started in the old storage room, so he headed there. As he began to lift a beam off the door, he heard muffled sounds from inside: first “Mmmmpphhh,” then the tapping and squeaking of a chair. When he opened the door, he was met with a shocking sight—Tyler tied to a chair, with tape over his eyes and mouth, kicking his bound feet against the floor, and on top of it all, a sneaker taped to his nose.

“What the fuck? Ty? Who the hell did this to you? Wait, calm down, I’ll untie you,” exclaimed a shocked Dylan. He first removed the sneaker from Tyler’s nose, and Tyler immediately took deep breaths of fresh air. Then, with huge effort, Dylan slowly peeled the tape from his eyes. Tyler barely managed to open them, as his eyelashes were glued together with dried tears and tape residue. As he tried to look around, Dylan removed the tape from his mouth, and Tyler spat out two gray socks belonging to Liam.

“I don’t even need to ask who did this. This is totally Noah’s style, isn’t it? That little psycho has completely crossed the line this time!” Dylan said angrily.

“He killed Mimi!” Tyler shouted, struggling to catch his breath.

“Whaaaat? No, Mimi is right here,” Dylan said, shining his flashlight on her aquarium on the table, under which some glass had been broken. “I was wondering what she was doing here anyway.” Tyler looked at the aquarium with tears in his eyes, feeling an immense sense of relief, without saying a word. Dylan freed his hands, after which Tyler insisted that he’ll slowly remove the tape from his legs. He barely restrained himself from screaming as the tape pulled at the hair on his thighs and under his knees. At one point, he couldn’t stand it anymore and started to let out muffled screams. Tyler, trying to help, placed a hand over his mouth.

Finally, Tyler began to remove the last strip of tape that had been wrapped around his socks. Sweat streamed down his forehead, partly from the heat and partly from the effort of peeling off the previous layers of tape from his legs. At last, he spread his legs and started putting on his sneakers.

When Tyler was finally free, Dylan shouted decisively: “Let’s go! We’re heading straight to Mr. Parker! It’s time to get that little piece of shit out of the camp!”

“No, wait! Don’t tell anyone about this, please…” Tyler said despondently, remembering Noah’s blackmail.

“What? What’s the problem? Are you embarrassed for the others to hear what the kid from your camp did to you?” Dylan asked, surprised.

“Not just that… I honestly don’t have any strength to deal with that kid anymore. There’s something twisted and evil in him. I can’t go through this again,” Tyler said, still out of breath.
“Anyway, everyone’s asleep now, let it rest overnight. Tomorrow we’ll figure out what to do, okay?”, he continued.

“Fine, we’ll wait until morning. But I don’t agree. You can’t let this slide!”Dylan replied, and the two of them headed toward the camp center, taking peeled duct tape to trash.

Dylan took Mimi back to their cabin, while Tyler went to take a shower. As he stripped off his sweaty clothes, he looked at the red marks on his wrists and legs, wondering what he should do tomorrow morning…

YES MIMI IS SAFE. Noah needs to be taken to the top of a 200 foot cliff with his arms tied behind his back and a rope tied around his manhood with the other end to 100 pounds of concrete blocks. The blocks thrown over the cliff, Noah watching them fall and fall, they hit bottom and no one remembered to tell Noah the rope was 220 feet long. Next time its a 190 long NOAH. I'll think of something good for Noah's little YES BOI LIAM. 🫣🤫🤔🤐

I guess, I overestimated Noah. I assumed, he would have hid the fish somewhere hard to find, giving it only back at the end. So Tyler would have had no choice, but to obey him.

Hmm, making no predictions, I'm glad it took "only" two hours, I feared a bit it would take until morning.

Well done, as always, btw. I like it, when the leaders interact, you make it easy to read them as friends.

@FelixSH Yeah, Tyler was lucky to have Dylan looking for him or else he'd stayed like that until the morning.

Thanks, I was a bit worried about these chapters because the pace is slower than in the first season. However, in the next chapter I'll try to make it clear where this storyline is heading. :D

Don't worry about pacing, not everything has to be action packed, and even a chapter without anyone being tied up is fine.

Especially true, when it's a true story. 😉

Chapter 14: Unpalatable Breakfast

A new day dawned at Camp Echo Pines. It was Friday, the day before the Yellow Lynxes and Gray Falcons were set to leave for their two-day regatta trip—a reward for winning the “Save the Leader” game. Jason and Ethan were among the first to wake up and were already doing their morning exercises. To everyone’s surprise, Cameron got up earlier than Dylan and Tyler that morning. The day’s main event was a swimming competition at the lake, where the Blue Otters traditionally claimed victory, so Cameron was excited, hoping his team might finally secure their first win of the season.

Tyler and Dylan acted as if nothing had happened the previous night, at least in front of Cameron. Soon, all the boys and team leaders headed to breakfast—fried eggs and bacon. Only Tyler and Dylan stayed behind in the cabin to privately discuss what would be the best thing to do in this situation. Dylan kept pressing Tyler to speak with Mr. Parker, but he stubbornly refused.

Noah, accompanied by Liam, strutted into breakfast as if he was still the leader of the Yellow Lynxes.

“Hey, you think Tyler managed to get free? Nobody’s saying anything. It’s kinda making me nervous,” Liam whispered to him.

“I doubt it. Who’s gonna find him there in the middle of the night?” Noah replied casually.

“Maybe we should go let him out. He’s been trapped there for a while now. What if something happens to him?” Liam asked, sounding a bit concerned.

“Relax… someone will find him eventually. Let him stew in there a bit longer,” Noah answered, after which both of them started snickering.

“Heeey, let’s see how you’re going to apologize to Ethan,” Ben called out to Noah.

Noah chuckled and glanced down at the eggs on his plate, then over at Ethan, who was standing nearby talking to Jason. Then, to everyone’s surprise, Noah suddenly began complaining loudly about breakfast:

“Ugh, this is disgusting! Way too salty, you can’t even eat it!” he shouted with a look of disgust, before turning toward Ethan and calling out, “I bet even my socks taste better than this, huh, Ethan?”

All the Lynxes burst into laughter, while the others looked on, some confused, some chuckling faintly. Ethan stared down at the floor, his face turning red with embarrassment, while Jason shot Noah a glare sharp enough to cut steel. But before Jason could say anything, Ethan himself exploded with rage and lunged at Noah. With his strong hands, he grabbed Noah by the shirt and yanked him, lifting him slightly off the ground. Noah looked into Ethan’s eyes with a flicker of fear, as he hadn’t expected such a reaction from the always composed Ethan.

“I’m going to teach you a lesson now!” Ethan hissed through clenched teeth as he slammed Noah to the ground. Cameron watched in shock from the corner, while Jason made no move to intervene—part of him wanted Noah to get exactly what he deserved. But he quickly realized Ethan was only going to get himself into trouble this way. He sprang forward, grabbing Ethan to break up the fight. At that moment, Mr. Parker appeared behind them, unnoticed until then.

He calmly approached as Ethan and Noah scrambled to their feet. Looking straight at Noah, he said sternly:

“I heard you insulting the work of our cook, young man. That will not go unpunished. Today you’ll spend the whole day helping him peel and chop vegetables for lunch and dinner!”

“What?! Me, peel? No way!” Noah began.

“If you don’t do it properly, you can say goodbye to the regatta trip. You’ll be staying here and cleaning the camp for the next two days with the losing teams,” Parker cut him off sharply. Noah turned angrily and stomped toward the kitchen to carry out his punishment.

“As for you, Ethan, come with me to my office!” Parker continued in the same firm tone. “Cameron, go find Tyler immediately. Where has he been all this time? And the rest of you—continue with breakfast.”

Ethan followed Parker with his head down. He could already picture Parker giving him a lecture about inappropriate behavior toward a minor and telling him he was being fired. Jason tried to comfort him, whispering, “Don’t worry, it’ll be okay,” but it didn’t do much to ease Ethan’s mind.

They reached Parker’s office, where Parker sat down and waited for Tyler to arrive, while Ethan stood quietly with his hands clasped behind his back.

“Sir, I’m really sorry about what happened… I know I shouldn’t have—” Ethan began.

“Hold on, Ethan. Let’s wait until Tyler gets here so I can hear the whole story,” Parker interrupted, and Ethan just nodded.

A moment later, Tyler hurried into the office without knocking, apologizing for being late. Cameron had already informed him of what happened.

“All right, let’s see what the problem is with this boy… Noah, was it? Tyler, why don’t you start, since you’re the one responsible for him?” Parker said.

“Well… Sir, it’s a bit uncomfortable to talk about, but… It all started during the ‘Save the Leader’ game. He captured Ethan along with a group of boys, which was, of course, part of the game. But then he began torturing and humiliating him,” Tyler began, still inner-debating whether to bring up his own incident from the previous night.

“What do you mean, humiliating?” Parker asked, puzzled.

“Maybe it’s better if Ethan tells you himself, but from what I’ve heard, he made him smell sneakers and socks, shoved dirty socks into his mouth while he was tied up, and so on…” Tyler replied.

“Is that true, Ethan?” Parker asked. Ethan nodded shamefully, still staring at the floor.

“And what did you do, Tyler, about this obvious abuse of the game?” Parker continued.

“I tried to make him apologize to Ethan, but—”

“But clearly you weren’t very successful, judging by how things turned out,” Parker interrupted. “That doesn’t excuse you either, Ethan. What he did was awful—he took advantage of your moment of vulnerability to humiliate you, but you can’t hit him for it,” he went on.

“If I may add something, sir,” Tyler cut in. Parker turned to him and gave a nod. “Last night, Noah and two other boys ambushed me in the old storage shed. He was angry that I insisted he apologize to Ethan. They tied me to a chair and did the same things to me as they did to Ethan. He even threatened me if I told you about it.”, he said with a visible sign of shame.

“Well, well! It seems the situation with that boy has really gotten out of hand,” Parker exclaimed in surprise, before launching into a speech while Tyler and Ethan listened carefully. “You see, guys, this job you’re doing—it’s both fun and a big responsibility. I can see you’re both building relationships with the campers like they’re your little brothers, and that’s great. But sometimes, you’ll run into kids like Noah, and in those moments, you need to be part teacher, part psychologist. Maybe you didn’t handle this situation perfectly, but that’s fine, you’ll get better.”

Parker then turned directly to Ethan. “Ethan, I’m the one who put you in this uncomfortable position. I didn’t expect any of the boys to take things this far. I made a mistake, sorry. You endured Noah’s humiliation with remarkable composure, and that will just be another experience under your belt. Because of that, I’ll overlook this morning’s attack on him, so you won’t face any consequences. As for that arrogant little brat, I have a philosophy—one that may not be so popular in parenting anymore, but I believe it’s the most effective: the best reaction to a bully’s behavior is to put him in the victim’s role.”

“What do you mean? Like we tie him up and do the same to him? He could cause trouble. He’s already threatened me with his dad…” Tyler asked, confused.

“No, not us—Ethan will do it. And no, we’re not just going to grab him and tie him up right now. That would be problematic. Instead, when we come back from the regatta, we’ll organize a new game. This time, the leaders will try to capture boys from rival teams. Whoever catches the most wins. So you’ll basically switch roles. I’m sure everyone will have fun—especially Ethan and Noah,” Parker said with a grin, winking at Ethan.

“That’s a great idea! Can we tell the others?” Tyler asked excitedly, while Ethan still looked uneasy and unenthusiastic.

“Don’t tell the boys anything! You can tell the other leaders, but I’ll still need to work out the rules in more detail. I’ll spend the next two days on it… hmm… maybe I’ll even let you form alliances or something… we’ll see,” Parker mused, his face lighting up with enthusiasm.

“Sir, sorry, but you know I’m really bad at tying knots,” Ethan finally spoke up.

“Hmm… yes, I remember you’re not exactly great at that. But if I recall, the last time you tied knots to a tree, you did a pretty good job?”

“Uh… well… yeah… but that’s different. The problem is when I have to tie up another person,” Ethan admitted shyly.

“Well, then practice over the next two days. Ask Jason and Cameron to help you. They’ll be staying with you anyway. We’ll all be rooting for you to take down that naughty little rascal in the game!” Parker replied, making both him and Tyler burst out laughing.

After they left Parker’s office, Tyler apologized to Ethan for everything that had happened, and he felt relieved when he saw that Ethan wasn’t angry with him. Soon, the swimming competition began, in which, to Cameron’s disappointment, the Grey Falcons team won.

“Damn it! Who’s going to deal with Dylan? He’s already been on my back about being the leader of a losing team. This was the only game we had a chance to win,” Cameron said to Jason in frustration.

“Relax… There are still more games until the end of camp, you’ll win one too,” Jason tried to comfort him.

The rest of the day passed quietly. Dylan celebrated the victory with his team and constantly teased Cameron, whose team had taken second place. Noah spent the afternoon peeling potatoes for the camp cook, and since the cook was satisfied with his work, Parker allowed him to join the regatta. As night began to fall, the boys from the Grey Falcons and the Yellow Lynxes packed for the next day’s trip. Tyler’s mood had lifted, and he excitedly shared with Cameron and Dylan what the next game would be:

“That little jerk is finally going to get what he deserves! Ethan’s going to teach him a lesson! And we’ll have fun with the other kids too!”

“I’m not so sure. You know Ethan has no clue how to tie knots…” Dylan, as usual, was the cautious pessimist.

In the cabin next door, Ethan and Jason were lying in bed, ready to sleep. Ethan told Jason what the next game would be, and Jason was thrilled, but he couldn’t understand why Ethan still seemed a little nervous. Ethan kept glancing at him, as if he wanted to ask something, and then quickly looking away.

“Parker really knows how to deal with bullies!” Jason commented with a big grin, trying to break the slightly awkward silence.

“Yeah… Uhh…” Ethan replied, sounding like he was about to ask Jason a question.

“You wanted to ask me something?” Jason said curiously.

“Huh, no, no, I’m just a bit lost in thought, forget it… Let’s sleep, we have to get up early tomorrow,” Ethan deflected.

“Alright, good night!” Jason ended the conversation and turned to the other side to sleep.

Ethan glanced at the piece of rope behind his bed that he had brought in earlier. He wanted to ask Jason to let him tie him up so he could practice, but he didn’t have the courage. He knew Jason had reacted quite harshly before whenever someone asked him that or tried to tie him up. And even if that wasn’t the case, the excitement building inside Ethan just from imagining wrapping the rope around Jason’s wrists was so strong that he couldn’t even picture actually doing it without his heart racing. He turned back toward Jason and stared for a long time at his feet, which were sticking out from under the sheets, lying close together. He imagined wrapping the rope around them, and the excitement inside him kept growing, making him even feel guilty. He wondered, “What the hell is wrong with me? Am I actually turned on by my roommate? Come on, Ethan, pull yourself together. Ahhh… I just want to tie him up so badly!

And while Ethan was caught between excitement and guilt, he had no idea that his roommate shared that same excitement—just in a slightly different way…

YES Noah is going to get it 🥊🥊. :D ;) Somebody should get Ethan a copy of "How To Tie Knots 🪢 in 27,876 easy Steps" today. Perhaps the Author could do that since they know each other. 🤗🤗
To tie you up is human, to tie you up and tickle you is divine. ME

@WhereAmI Trust me, he has no problem tying any knot. It's something else that probably noone can help him with. He'll just have to learn how to control his excitement. :D ;)

That was a very enjoyable chapter, yes, and I'm glad Tyler talked about what happened to him. I'm still wondering, how he will deal with the fact, that he is technically leading Noah, who probably won't listen to him at all.

I hope Ethan gets a good revenge on the little shit.

Also, Parker is pretty cool.

Woow, I love this story a lot! I started reading it while it was in category for true stories, so I was confused when it disappeard, I thought you might deleted it. Anyway, I read first 6 chapters and enjoyed it a lot. The whole sockgagging of Ethan was amazing, curious to see what will happen to him. I also hoped that Jimmy might sockgag Tyler after that conversation, but he avoided it, at least for now. Jason looks like a really handsome hunk on that AI picture. I can imagine his muscular body wrapped in a rope while he is hogtied. Dylan probably got the most comfortable position, but at least he'll get his clothes dirty. Those Jason's Wolves may be physically strong, but they're pretty dumb since Dylan got them in trap so easily. And poor Cam, he's really in a bad situation, being mummified with a rope.

Chapter 15: The Bonds of Friendship

Saturday finally came—the day the boys of the Yellow Lynxes and the Grey Falcons had been waiting for. From early morning, everyone was on their feet. Tyler and Dylan were checking to make sure everyone was ready for departure. Mr. Parker was also going with them to the regatta, leaving Jason, as the oldest and most experienced, in charge of the camp until his return. After yesterday’s punishment, Noah had calmed down a bit, keeping out of the spotlight, while Tyler avoided any contact with him and Liam.

They packed their baggages onto the bus and set off, while the boys of the Red Hawks, Green Wolves, and Blue Otters, right after breakfast, together with their leaders, threw themselves into tidying up the camp, just as Mr. Parker had ordered. They gathered up trash and leaves that the wind had blown into the camp’s center, packed things away, dusted, and scrubbed the floors. It was a tiring day, but full of cheerful, friendly spirit.

By the time they finished, the sun was already beginning to set. Jason suggested to Ethan and Cameron that they could play hide and seek with the boys, to give them a little practice for the next game awaiting them when the others returned. Both of them agreed, and the boys were excited about the idea. All the boys had 100 seconds to hide, after which all three leaders set out to look for them. The Green Wolves once again proved to be the best, since out of about ten of them, only five were found.

After the game, dinner followed, and the tired boys went off to shower and sleep. Once they were settled in their beds, the leaders also showered and then headed to their cabins. Just as it was time to part from Cameron, Jason decided to suggest something:

“Hey, Cam! You could spend the night with us? I mean… if it’s boring for you to be alone over there? You know we have a free bed.”

“Huh, why not?! Honestly, I wanted to ask you the same thing, but I felt awkward barging in,” Cameron replied enthusiastically.

“Aw, relax, bro. Come on, the three of us can have a little party now that all the kids are asleep,” Ethan added with a smile.

Excited, Cameron brought his things over to Jason and Ethan’s cabin. Ethan pulled out a deck of cards and began showing him a game he often played at night with Jason. The three of them spent hours hanging out and laughing together. Cameron took the opportunity to gossip about Dylan, who annoyed him, and started imitating him. He put on Jason’s old sunglasses and mimicked Dylan’s movements as he adjusted them.

“Hey, guys, I haven’t had this much fun at camp in ages. I wanted to ask something… Could I move in with you permanently, if I’m not a bother?” Cameron asked a bit shyly.

Jason and Ethan exchanged a glance and laughed, before warmly welcoming Cameron to their cabin.

“Awesoomeee! You guys are the best!” shouted Cameron, throwing his arms around them in a friendly hug.

“Ethan, you mentioned that in the next tying game there might be alliances? The three of us could team up against Dylan and Tyler. We’d beat them easily this time,” Jason suggested.

“Yeah, though Parker said he’d still work out the rules. But if that’s how it goes, I’m in!” Ethan replied.

“Yaaay! We’ll crush them this time! We’ll be like the Losers’ Club,” Cameron announced excitedly.

“Don’t start with King again, you know I can’t stand his stuff…” Jason teased.

“What? I thought you liked horror?” Cameron asked, puzzled.

“I do, but a little rougher… like ki-ki-ki ma-ma-ma,” Jason mimicked the famous sound from Friday the 13th, referencing his movie namesake, as the three of them burst out laughing.

“I’m not a big King fan either, but there’s one of his books I really like,” Ethan chimed in.

“Really? Which one?” Cameron asked curiously.

Salem’s Lot.”

“Hey, I actually like that one too! Well, I only saw the movie. I didn’t even know it was based on King’s book,” Jason said in surprise. “There’s one scene I still remember so clearly…” he added, a bit sheepishly, as if he hadn’t meant to say it.

“Which scene? I bet I remember it too,” Ethan asked.

“Uhhh… the one where…” Jason struggled to think of another scene but couldn’t. Luckily, at that moment, someone knocked on the door. It was Nate from his team, who reported that one of the boys had fallen on his way to the bathroom and cut his hand. Ethan and Cameron offered to help, but Jason went alone, carrying the first aid kit.

Ethan and Cameron were left alone in the cabin, where an awkward silence suddenly fell. Ethan remembered the rope he had hidden behind his bed. Knowing Jason wouldn’t be back soon, he figured this might be the perfect chance to finally tie someone up—Cameron.

“Hey, Cam… uh… so… could you do me a favor?” Ethan began shyly.

“Of course, bro, whatever,” Cameron answered warmly.

“I was wondering if maybe… if you’d let me tie you up?” Ethan finally blurted out.

“What do you mean? Why would you tie me up?” Cameron’s expression suddenly shifted.

“I didn’t mean anything bad, honestly. It’s just… you know I’m not really good at tying, and I wanted to practice for the game. Parker even suggested I should.”

“Uhh… Honestly, I’m not thrilled about that. I still remember what it was like when Dylan’s Falcons tied me up. I couldn’t move an inch. Why don’t you ask Jason?” Cameron tried to dodge it.

“He’d never let me. You know he always has to keep everything under control. I can’t even bring it up with him,” Ethan continued to persuade him.

“Alright, alright, no problem. I guess I can at least do that much for you. Just be gentle, okay?” Cameron agreed with a forced smile.

The two of them sat down on Ethan’s bed, and he pulled out the ropes he had prepared the previous day. Cameron looked a little surprised and wondered why he already had the equipment ready. Ethan untangled the rope and held it ready, then glanced at Cameron’s hands, hesitating to say anything. When Cameron realized this, he smiled and stretched his hands out in front of him, palms together: “Here, let’s see how you tie me up.”

Ethan gently began wrapping the rope around Cameron’s wrists and then started tying a knot. At the same time, he felt an intense excitement he couldn’t control, and he worried that Cameron might notice the bulge in his gray shorts.

“You can tighten it more, and you should run the rope between my wrists. If you do it like this, I can easily pull my hands out, see…” Cameron commented, demonstrating with his hands how he could slip out of the rope, which fell onto the bed.

Nervous and aroused, Ethan didn’t grab the rope to try again. Instead, he leaned behind the bed and pulled out a black bandana, intending to prevent Cameron from noticing his excitement. “I get a little nervous when someone’s watching me tying up, can I blindfold you first?”

“Damn! You know I hate the dark… Uh, okay, okay, I just hope it won’t take long,” Cameron replied, a little uneasy, after which Ethan quickly blindfolded him and immediately felt relieved. Cameron stretched his hands out again to have them tied, but instead, Ethan gently pushed him onto the bed, turned him to his stomach, and pulled his hands behind his back.

“Whoa, looks like you’re ready for the advanced level,” Cameron smirked, thinking the tying would be loose once again. However, to his surprise, Ethan began tying his hands tightly, like a true professional.

“Wow, Ethan, this is actually… really good. I don’t think I could get out of this.”

“Wait a bit, then you’ll try,” Ethan replied shortly. He moved down with another piece of rope to Cameron’s feet, grabbed them around white sports socks, drew them together, and began tying them the same way as his hands. Then he secured one end to the wooden edge of the bed. “There! So you can’t hop away!” Ethan commented with a smile and gave Cameron a signal to try freeing himself. Cameron wriggled on the bed for a few minutes, attempting to free his hands, but it was useless.

“Can you at least take off the blindfold? You’re not tying me anymore, right?” he asked.

“No, no, you have to wear it while you’re my prisoner!” Ethan replied, glancing down at his shorts.

Cameron sighed and continued his unsuccessful attempts to get free. Soon, he gave up and lay quietly on the bed. He expected Ethan to start untying him, but the cabin fell into an awkward silence again.

“Huh… I’d say you’re ready for the game, this is really good. Can you untie me now?” Cameron asked, a little worried.

“Aha, yes, of course, just wait a bit,” Ethan began untying his hands, and his excitement gradually subsided. Cameron removed the blindfold, and Ethan moved down to free his feet. At that moment, footsteps sounded outside the cabin, and Jason appeared in the doorway, eyes wide, watching Ethan untie Cameron’s feet.

“Hey… What are you two doing?”
