I remember being young and going into the Arcade and seeing a picture of the damsel in distress being handgagged by the villain on the cabinet for the game Kung Fu Master (1984). I could’ve sworn there were other versions of her gagged with a white cloth, possibly tied up too, but my internet searches aren’t turning anything up. I used to love that as a kid

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade (the DLC) had Scarlet get captured in a raid at Shinra. She looks completely unphased and in control while bound, it's a great scene.

Devil May Cry 3 has the spider enemies Arachne. One of their attacks has it spitting out webs and binding Dante with it. You have to move the joystick around to free him or they'll do damage. I'm not into the monster/spider/tentacle kinks (not shaming anyone who is, it's just not my thing), but I always loved seeing a badass like him bound and struggling to free himself however brief

I'm actually looking forward to the next game...technically Tifa gets kidnapped in the original by Scarlet (and has their infamous duel).

And both Yuffie and Elena get kidnapped by Don Corneo in the original, as well.

Since they keep bringing Don Corneo back each time as a joke antagonist, we'll likely get a good DiD scene.

And Yuffie and Elena are both particularly chatty, so...gags, maybe?

Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 are the best examples of this, you can lasso any NPC, tie them up, carry them, take them on your horse, all while they struggle and yell for help.

Such a shame that there’s an entire mechanic built around lassoing & hogtying; but no way to gag NPC’s with a bandana.

Red Dead Redemption 2 even had cutscenes where secondary characters got gagged; but not in-game.

Ah, well…still a fun time.

I agree I would love that. I have been playing RDR2 online for the last few weeks and will sometimes start conflicts with other players just to get my character tied up, although a gag would be a fantastic addition.

Lego Indiana Jones 2 would allow you to use your whip to tie up enemies and drag them around. But you could also use it on your co-op player. My niece used to constantly do it to my character when we played it together thinking it was a huge laugh.

It is possible to get a gag as well but you have to use mod menu fortitude. Also there is a large and active community for hogtying in game. A lot of us are on PC though

Checked the Switch E-Shop and there was a game coming soon called "Hogtie". So checked it and to my dismay it was a completely innocent kids game revolving around using lassos and pigs to solve puzzles. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

Can't see any of these being mentioned but:

- Limbo, you get mummified by a giant spider

- The original fallout, one of the endings gets you mummified and dumped in a vat of liquid

- The Witcher 3, one of the romance options leaves you shackled to the bed
