Thoughts on muzzles?

I've always liked a muzzle tightly fit over my face and buckled behind my head, forcing my jaw shut. Rather than a mask or hood. It's so much more effective in silencing the wearer. Thoughts?

I love muzzle gags, and the 'muzzle' need not be heavy-duty leather. While I love the feel and 'heft' of a full leather muzzle gag, simpler panel gags made of spandex or similar fabrics that mimic the muzzled look are also fun and effective.

More importantly for me, is the mouth 'stuffing'. A gag for me, muzzle or not, is not complete if there isn't anything stuffing the mouth.

@tiedinbluetights Excellent viewpoint! I agree! Gotta have something stuffed in the mouth in combination with the muzzle to hold it in!

In having a horrible gag reflex that now just decides to come and go when it wants to, I'd rather have a muzzle gag as long as nothings in my mouth. I would love to try out the old medical muzzle gag, it was shown on Pretty Little Liars at one point, and on the actress it looked amazing.

I would like to wear that one too! They aren't easy to find though unfortunately. But yes a muzzle pressing firmly against the face making it impossible to open my mouth or jaw and try to speak.

Muzzles very well could be my top favorite gag!

Though not totally effective on its own, if it doesn't or isn't accompanied with an internal gag/stuffing. It does the job and looks great but aside from heavily muffling the wearer, you kind of need more then just your standard muzzle if you want a heavy scene. The only way I've found to make it super effective on its own is to really tighten the straps but then that usually causes to much discomfort for more then 15 mins. But even a good couple of wraps with duct tape, then a muzzle does the trick. Socks, bandanas or other cloths also work great. I usually just use a football mouth guard since cloth of any types bug my teeth. Though what I'm thinking about getting is one of those bondage mouth guard gags. Completely fills the mouth. Grove for the teeth and slot for the tongue. Add a muzzle with that and it's probably one of the most effective gags there is!!

Only use to be able to find them on etsy from a German seller but MrSleather has started carrying some now to. Just comes with a rather heavy price tag if you ask me. But I guess most bondage gear, it's just part of an expensive hobby.

That's exactly the one I was referring to! I just couldn't think of what it was technically called off the top of my brain at the time

It's on the list but I can't make up my mind if it's the next thing I wanna get. It's like $150 if I remember right. Stupid expensive hobby

For sure!! You definitely should get it. Or see if there is a panel one with that attachment.
