Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

Going to a Dominatrix for First Time

Post by BondageBoyUK »

So after drinking a couple of beers last night I finally got the balls to call up a Dominatrix in my local area. I'm meeting her next Friday.

I'm absolutely terrified but looking forward to it as I've never had any proper bondage experience before so looking forward to it despite the fact I'm terrified. thought I'd mention it on here see if anyone has any tips and whether people want me to write the story afterwards.

Congratulations on building up the courage.

I've never been to a dominatrix, given that I am happily married, and can live out my fantasies with the aid of my loving wife. That said, there are plenty of femdom related resources online that you can consult and give tips. Even if this person is a well known dominatrix, both her own website and reviews of her on femdom resource and femdom guide related sites will provide useful information on what to expect and what protocols to follow.

BUT, be careful and don't let your fantasies run your mind into unsafe territory, especially if this a new or very little known person. Standard safety practices still apply, even with a well know and established dominatrix: letting know people you do trust where you will be as much as possible, provide check in calls at specified times to ensure you're okay, have protocols in place for what these trusted friends should do if you go AWOL beyond a certain time frame, etc.

Be safety minded first. If you are dealing with a well known pro, you probably have nothing to worry about, but still, always have safety measures in place. A pro won't take offence as she herself, as a pro, would have several safety protocols in place.

Hope you enjoy your session.

Also responding as someone who has never been to a dominatrix before. In addition to the great advice that @tiedinbluetights provided about letting someone you trust know where you are during this time, make sure that there is thorough communication between you two before engaging in any play. Topics should/may include: your bondage history, what you’re comfortable and not comfortable with (both hard and soft limits), what you’re specifically into (gear/fetishes/material/etc), and maybe even expectations. I would imagine she would also provide a lot of information as well: what types of things she provides and perhaps excels at, the structure of the session (perhaps starting then gradually easing into tighter positions to ensure you’re within limits along the way), expected etiquette, safety protocols, etc.

The fact that you stated you’re “terrified” and have never had “proper bondage experience” before I think really undermines the necessity of ensuring you know as much as you can about what you’re getting into beforehand. As probably everyone here knows first-hand, what your mind and body want/fantasize about and what they can actually handle (from physical, mental, and possibly emotional perspectives) can be on two very different levels.

Again, I would say to really know your limits—both what can be tested and possibly broadened (soft) as well as those that are a definite no-go (hard). The session should be “enjoyable” (quotes due to the nuance of having a good time while being spanked and/or tightly bound).

So, that’s my two cents. And as to your question of whether or not to write a story afterwards? The answer to that question is always YES! In as much detail as you can! Here’s hoping for a new and super exciting experience for you. :D
