Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

FORUM NEWS: NEW HOST, FORUM LINKS & OTHER BUGS

Post by bondagefreak »

Just a little heads up to let you all know that moving the forum to a third host in a matter of days has caused some slight issues. While this new host shouldn't give us any trouble, our old domain name is temporarily (hopefully) locked. Chad was forced to change it to tugstories.blog. Again, we're hoping this is temporary.

Why does this matter? Using a new domain name means that all forum links are now invalid, as they all link to tugstories.com (which hopefully Chad will be able to reclaim in two months time) instead of tugstories.blog. For now, none of the links work (eg: those in the story catalog section). If your banner links to a story or to a list of your stories, I suggest changing the links to reflect the latest change to our web address (.blog instead of .com).

Many (if not most) stories have also been mangled by the latest transfer due to special characters (especially punctuation marks) not being translated properly. Chad is aware of the issue.

SPECIAL NOTE

Many of you have reached out to me on Deviant Art and Tumblr, asking me to relay thanks to Chad for all his hard work keeping us up and kicking during these difficult times (both for the forum and for him personally). Chad has not authorised me to relay this, but once a funding page is set up for 2025/2026 hosting costs, I think the community should chip in to ensure Chad gets a little extra for all his hard work.
