Pranked while sleeping

So you've fallen asleep somewhere that's either private or somewhere that's public. Still, you have friends, significant others, or enemies who decided it was the perfect opportunity to prank you. The person or people who have decided to prank you are unaware that you like bondage but during their prank, you can either see the prank being pulled or sense them tying you up, and their prank only involves tying you up or trapping you to the thing you are sleeping on. Would you continue to fake being asleep or would you wake up and break free before they could fully trap you in whatever bondage they were doing to you?

Oh, this is so situational for me.

If it is my significant other, or friends I trusted (even ones who don't know about my penchant for being tied-up), I'd probably fake staying asleep to see where it goes, and that is for both public and private places.

Now as for my enemies, it depends on the type of 'enemy'. An adulthood enemy, then no way, I wake up, and may even try to turn the tables before or even while calling the cops I'll claim a citizen's arrest when the cops show.

But if it more like 'frenemies', an dit is in public, I'd be tempted to fake staying asleep, but would probably fake getting startled awake just before I'm fully incapacitated. Hmm, I need to think more about this last one...

All three times so far I've kinda just let them get on with it. Though I was still half asleep and mostly didn't realize until it was too late anyway

Edit: that being said, it was in the midst of a couple weeks worth of this kind of thing and was fairly consensual (although I did start sleeping with a key.)

The OP made very clear that the person being pranked in this hypothetical was not actually asleep and therefore could consent.

Sorry but I have to agree with @drgoremd on this, responses like this are not helpful and kill the discussion on threads like this. Its not the first time either. Also from the bio, I don’t think its JF’s place to ‘keep an eye on people’ when they are not a mod??

To get back to the topic at hand though, I think I would have to say wake up and stop it happening as a light sleeper

Sorry about the illiterate, spoilsport, social justice warrior type-people trying to ruin it for you and everyone else.

I would definitely "ruin" the prank by fighting back and breaking free. Should I be unable to fight back due to being severely outnumbered, my vengeance would be swift and harsh. Either way, those pranksters would have to watch themselves. I fuckin' love a good pranking

I think I’d wake up and try to feign a struggle, haha. Can’t let them realize how much I love bondage!

Hopefully I’d be able to strike the balance where I’m not successfully resisting, but I am incurring their ire, and forcing them to do a much more severe job of tying me down. A few yelps here and there to hopefully get a gag thrown my way, and I’m golden

Realistically, I think anyone startled in their sleep would fight back out of instinct. But assuming I could actually figure out it wasn't anything serious, well, I'd still fight back. If it was enough people surprising me, I'd still probably get outnumbered, but that would at least still be more fun than just laying there submitting entirely.

Im a heavy sleeper so I probably wouldn’t wake up at all. But if o did I would probably panic and get out. Hopefully they would have me secured enough before I woke up. If I felt what they were doing and didn’t panic I would probably pretend to be a sleep and let them.
