Well this is interesting. Adrian was supposed to place a particular bid but was out bid. Highly out bid I might add. Then we have the altered voices. Something seems suspiciously convenient!!

Everyone who's allowed to bid has been vetted, so it's someone not Adrian, but not some completely random stranger.

It protects the identity of the bidders, like the suits and hoods protect the identity of the wares.

It certainly sounds like someone wanted this particular puppy more than Adrian! His own fault for giving up so easily.

That would be telling ;) The big public parade may be over, but the evening is still young.

I get the feeling, Adrian could have bid and bid and still have lost. While I have no way to know who the other bidder is, I have my suspicion. Someone who is more then well off. Someone who is into everything and would have access to inside information of the frat. I could be entirely wrong but that's where this Sherlock is leaning

It stands to reason that the person you're speaking about would be involved somehow, doesn't it. I'm neither confirming nor denying your theory, however!

The selection process will take place entirely in the current location. Maybe later?

A little bit late to this puppy party. I love the out-of-body experience offered by the built in screen - watching yourself as a rubber pup being paraded through town.

Looks like I've made it just in time for the trademark twist in the story. Who has placed the winning bid?
A pup is for life but especially for bondage so get out the sleepsack and muzzle.

PART 5

SOME MONTHS EARLIER

Manga whimpered as the man approached his cage. He seemed in a bad mood, and a bad mood meant pain. The big blue ball gag remained in his mouth day and night, except when it was time to be fed or watered, or when his captor wanted to hear him suffer and beg.

Manga knew better than to resist, however. The last time he did, the man had cuffed his hands so brutally that he'd lost all feeling for a week.

The cage door opened, and the man yanked the chain on his metal collar. There was a whip in his hand.

Adrian carefully crumpled the paper back up. His roommate had bought a typewriter a while back, but he'd never seen him use it. Today, however, several discarded sheets had been balled up in the trash can, and curiosity had gotten the better of him.

He looked more closely at the word that Manga had Xed out in front of "the man". Did that say "Adrian"?

Shaking his head, he placed the aborted story back in the trash and unfolded the next sheet.

The discomfort caused by the insertion of the nasal feeding tube had been worse than Manga'd feared, but at least he finally got some nourishment. It had been a day since the man had finished sealing his mouth. First, he had put him under, attached braces to his teeth, and wired them shut; the second step had been to seal his lips together.

Manga shied back as far as the cage allowed when the man made to remove the probe again, but he grabbed him by his braids and pulled it out, causing him to make what little pained noise he could.

"But my boy, how am I going to properly torture you with that sticking out of your nose?"

Still holding him tightly by the hair, he picked up a clothespin with the other hand. He pinched it open, sliding it over his nostrils, then let go.

Adrian cringed thinking about the idea of a feeding tube. Some fantasies were too wild even for him.

He crumpled that paper up, too, and put it back, then unfolded the final one.

Manga stared. His cage had been rolled into a different room for the first time, and the spectacle that awaited him made his stomach sink.

There were three other cages. Two contained young men in full rubber. Their mittened heads and hands were sticking out of their cages, but still rendered immobile. Both were wearing gas masks; a hose was connected to either, with a bag on the other end. Each of the two held the other's bag between his useless hands, pushing rhythmically in order to supply his co-captive with air.

In the third cage was Manga's best friend, Ato. Like himself, he had been forced to wear a rubber suit and his mouth was tightly taped, extra wrappings over the top of the head and under the chin preventing any chance of dislodging the gag.

The man held up two more gas masks. "Time to suffer."

Adrian heard a key being inserted into the lock. He quickly threw that piece of paper back in the trash as well and sat at his desk, hiding his raging erection.

Manga was way too excited to pay any heed to anything, as it turned out. A bit of poking and prodding later, Adrian had learned he had been invited to apply to join Delta Omega Gamma, an elite fraternity.

"Dog"? He made a mental note to look into it.

Manga could be in a little trouble a nasal feeding tube, teeth wired shut, lips permanently sealed. This could be a life-changing event for Manga.

Fortunately for him, he's just writing self-insert (heh) fiction.

We haven't seen any tail inserts yet, have we? Definitely need some of those paw pad mitts as well!

The tails are external, but the mitts are of course as you describe. Internal would go to far for this harmless, non-kinky, entirely normal frat!

PART 6

The bell rang, startling Adrian out of his reverie.

"The break is over, gentlemen. Time for the selection to begin!"

Nine cloaked figures led the nine initiates back on stage on leashes. The puppy hoods had been removed, but black rubber masks still covered the initiates' faces. The mouth part would have been free, except each had been fitted with a funnel gag, fully preserving their anonymity. According to Adrian's information, the buyers still had no idea about their purchases, but would coach them through the upcoming trials. The fate of each pair was intertwined - if the candidate failed, the purchase would be void: the buyer would be out his money, and the applicant would have lost their chance at getting into Delta Omega Gamma.

This also explained the anonymity: it prevented retaliatory action from either side, as well as public disgrace for the rejects.

Each buyer produced a can of alcohol-free beer; they opened them in unison.

"Our poor candidates are sure to be thirsty," the auctioneer-turned-announcer said. "Let's see if they can handle their liquids. You have ten seconds."

The buyers moved in position, cans held above the funnels.

"Three. Two. One. Go!"

The buyers poured as the announcer counted down. One of the candidates panicked and pulled away, the beer splashing on the floor; another started coughing and the buyer aborted. A handler jumped to action as the puppy pawed at the gag with his mittened hands; he pulled the tube from his mouth while shielding his identity from everyone using his cloak.

Both hopefuls were removed by handlers, the buyers being released back to their seats in the audience. "At least I only spent twenty bucks," one joked.

- * -

There was a brief pause during which the stage was empty. When the candidates next came out, Elizabethan collars had been affixed round their necks - plastic cones as one would put on an animal to prevent it from licking wounds or similar.

Adrian had accepted his inability to act and was transfixed by the show, his erection uncomfortable in his pants.

The dogs were made to sit, the cones pointing straight up.

"Gentlemen, this is an endurance test. 90 seconds will advance you to the next round."

The buyers stood ready with buckets, which they now lifted with some effort.

On the count of three, they emptied ice cold water from the buckets into the cones, submerging their purchases' heads entirely.

One of the candidates panicked right away, dipping his head while the water was still flowing, splashing it all over the floor, then making inchoate noises into his gag as he was quickly removed from the stage by one of the handlers. His disappointed buyer returned to their seat.

The seconds ticked on. Adrian could see another of the boys getting antsy, and finally, he could not hold it any longer, emptying his cone and breathing heavily. He, too, was led away, with the buyer disappearing among the audience.

At the count of 90, the owners tapped their candidates' shoulders, allowing them to rid themselves of the water. All remaining five were breathing heavily.

- * -

With that, another break was announced. To Adrian's amazement, the back of the room turned out to be a movable wall; it retracted to both sides, elongating the stage to three times the length.

Illuminated by large lamps on the ceiling was an obstacle course.

I thought this was supposed to be a humane initiation with no torture or humiliation of the candidates. Alcohol free beer is definitely torture. 🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻

Obstacle course...... I bet it won't exactly be a simple one

Curious if Manga will be able to complete all these tasks and be successful in get into the frat. But I'm also still curious who out bid Adrian, with Adrian having a supposed inside source!!

You're probably right, even if maybe not for the reason you think :)

I get it - but, realistically, you might have candidates who don't drink for whatever reason, plus being inebriated for these challenges is dangerous, as we will soon see...

Maybe in the hidden back corners...

If just anyone could get in, it wouldn't be very elite ;)

Only the best! And don't worry, that question will eventually be answered.

If they don't drink they don't deserve to be in Frat and that's a fact.
