Website Migration Update
I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

Bondage Hypnosis
A number of years ago I stumbled upon bondage hypnosis videos on YouTube. A meditative of sorts, they would supposedly hypnotise you into such states as being mummified, hogtied, straightjacketed and others. I tried the mummification one a couple of times but never quite worked on me, though I think it got close before my brain said "this is ridiculous!!".
Has anyone had any experience of such videos, and if so, have they worked for you?

I have seen those videos, they don’t really work on me either. I would be interested in being hypnotized while I’m tied up though. I’m not sure what that would accomplish but it would be interesting haha.

I've always been very reluctant to be hypnotized. I've enjoyed going to hypnosis shows and watching the participants make fools of themselves. But I dare not volunteer as I'm terrified what part of my subconscious would be extracted in front of everyone! Probably mostly bondage thoughts lol.

I'm guessing mine doesn't work like that either. But I find it intriguing and curious if it works on anyone. Making the mind think that it is bound and not being able to move as a result is just a crazy situation for me.

I started thinking about this topic again over the weekend, and then realised I had started a thread on it before. So I thought I'd resurrect it as perhaps new members have experienced it.

Not to that extent, but I have had moderate success with using self-hypnosis techniques while in between consciousness to have brief lucid bondage dreams.wannabetiedup wrote: 3 months ago I started thinking about this topic again over the weekend, and then realised I had started a thread on it before. How do you achieve self-hypnosis? Is it trying to will yourself back into a dream when you've woken up during the night?illest wrote: 3 months agoNot to that extent, but I have had moderate success with using self-hypnosis techniques while in between consciousness to have brief lucid bondage dreams.wannabetiedup wrote: 3 months ago I started thinking about this topic again over the weekend, and then realised I had started a thread on it before. I'm not sure if I would even call my lucid dreams "self-hypnosis". Basically one of the important things from my experience is to be in the state of R.E.M. sleep. Some people specifically set alarms to wake themselves up about 3-4 hours in sleep to attempt to lucid dream. For me in particular, my sleep schedule and my wife's time to get ready for work pretty much forces me to wake around that time period.wannabetiedup wrote: 3 months agoHow do you achieve self-hypnosis? From there it's a matter of drifting back to sleep and being self aware of that you're dreaming. The "self hypnosis" aspect comes to controlling your breathing and letting your thoughts sink into a calm place. For me it's generally bondage and being tied in the position of choice. I'm not someone who can do it on a whim but occasionally it happens for me.
For example roughly a week ago I stayed awake for a couple of hours after my wife left but found myself drifting to sleep while playing the Switch. I had not long before read on Reddit regarding lucid dreaming so I started a technique of deep breathing and counting to 300. When I reached about 55 I felt a presence in the room beside my bed. I had a feeling I was dreaming because I've felt similar sensations sleeping beside my wife. I reached for the presence and it felt like my wife's frame but more slender, and as humorous as that sounds that's when I knew I was in a dream state.
I imagined this presence binding me and first I felt my legs being pulled towards the bed amd tied. Afterwards my arms were pulled to the headboard and tied. I imagined being gagged and somewhere in there I must have imagined a neck rope tied to my gag because I had a overhead out-of-body experience of just that. Though I was looking at "myself" I could still feel it and had relative control of the situation. I'd say it lasted about 5-15 minutes. When I woke up I had went from near the edge of the bed to smack dab in the middle like during my dream state. My ankles were close and touching as if they had been bound but my arms were in their regular position. Which makes sense as our current bed isn't long enough for me to stretch in a full tie that was the one I had dreamed about.

That is remarkable and to be honest sounds incredible if a little scary too (don't like paranormal presences lol). You sound like a good fit for those hypnosis videos based on that. When I tried it, I didn't feel like someone was doing it, but rather than the effect of it was happening.
