Wraparound gags
I primarily use a ball gag but don't like having marks on my face for a significant amount of time after taking it off. I'm looking for an alternative that is effective but leaves no marks.
Amy advice would be appreciated. I have thought about wrap around gags, in particular when the first layer or two is cleaved and the rest goes around an open mouth and chin. If done with vet wrap, will it leave much in the way of marks?
And as a follow on, is this much less effective without mouth stuffing underneath?
Many thanks, Dave

Very nice example Silver.
My first takeaway from it is not to wear lipstick, and secondly that it will likely leave some marks but might not be as deep nor long lasting as those left by a leather strap and buckle of ball gag. Thank you

Wraparound gags can be effective without stuffing, but they have to be done just right. Make sure they are decently tight and wrap at least a few layers for both your upper and lower mouth.
Honestly, I don't recommend stuffing with a wraparound gag. It takes some time to get it off and if you're choking or feeling panicky it just makes an already bad situation even worse.

Not sure how useful this advice might be for you since you specifically mentioned the cleave-style thing, but a technique I use for ones where the lips are closed is to use a few strips of adhesive tape over the mouth (microfoam is the one I usually use since it's comfy) to actually seal it shut and then using a non-adhesive tape like bondage tape for the wrap.
I find that the wraparound gags effectiveness mainly comes from the pressure it applies over the mouth rather than the adhesiveness of it. Of course you'd need to make the wrap pretty tight for it to work well or it'll just slip off, but its a whole lot more comfortable to remove. It also means that if you do use stuffing and something goes wrong (always consider the risks when using stuffing, you can just jank the whole wrap down without having to worry about tearing hair out or damaging your skin.

Thank you. This is really helpful. I'll avoid stuffing for now when I try it outcaptured_prize wrote: 4 months ago Wraparound gags can be effective without stuffing, but they have to be done just right. Thank you. Does micro foam tape leave marks itself as this is another one I'd love to tryBratBinder7 wrote: 4 months ago Not sure how useful this advice might be for you since you specifically mentioned the cleave-style thing, but a technique I use for ones where the lips are closed is to use a few strips of adhesive tape over the mouth (microfoam is the one I usually use since it's comfy) to actually seal it shut and then using a non-adhesive tape like bondage tape for the wrap.

I haven't when using strips, and I'd image they'd fade quickly if they did. As long as you don't feel your skin being pulled one way or another, you shoud be ok. It might leave some adhesive residue depending on how long its on, but that can obviously be washed off.wannabetiedup wrote: 4 months agoThank you. I'd definitely second this advise - the adhesive strips followed by a separate wrap works really well, and is much easier to remove, which is especially useful when stuffing is involved. It's also a nice solution to the fact that I find strips come off fairly easily if there's any facial hair. And of course, I'd say that it's better to use stuffing when accompanied, if possible, rather than trying it solo, for reasons already mentioned.BratBinder7 wrote: 4 months ago Not sure how useful this advice might be for you since you specifically mentioned the cleave-style thing, but a technique I use for ones where the lips are closed is to use a few strips of adhesive tape over the mouth (microfoam is the one I usually use since it's comfy) to actually seal it shut and then using a non-adhesive tape like bondage tape for the wrap.

It leaves much less adhesive residue than duct tape. And it is somewhat stretchy, so it doesn't tend to leave compression marks even when wrapped tightly.wannabetiedup wrote: 4 months ago Thank you. Does micro foam tape leave marks itself as this is another one I'd love to try

I forgot to mention that this is another advantage of microfoam tape. In addition to not being super sticky, it can be torn very easily by hand if you start at an edge. If the sub is having a problem, even if it's wrapped around, the top can quickly peel an edge away near one side of the mouth, rip through even two or three layers, and quickly pull the tape away from over the mouth. It will be much less painful than pulling off duct tape, and only fractionally slower than removing a non-wraparound tape gag (if at all). So if you're willing to use stuffing with a face-only tape gag, I see no impediment to using stuffing with a microfoam wraparound.captured_prize wrote: 4 months ago Honestly, I don't recommend stuffing with a wraparound gag. The biggest disadvantage of microfoam is simply its price.

A mouth stuffing (like a sponge ball that is squishy or buy new unused socks to be for gag purposes only) and OTM tied over it can work. You can then reinforce the cloth OTM by wrapping duct tape around it. I think it will leave you markless.

That's not a bad idea to try either, thank you. Expecting roll of microfoam tape to arrive today so hopefully will try it out this weekendblowthelights wrote: 3 months ago A mouth stuffing (like a sponge ball that is squishy or buy new unused socks to be for gag purposes only) and OTM tied over it can work. I have never had a wrap around gag, never even thought of it, but I would try it.
