I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

Caught Stefanie Scott. They should have taped her ankles early on.

Is all of them an answer? Well alot of them, the main problem with 99% of them is 100% the gag. Like you can easily get the gag off in most situations or the gag is useless.

In 'The Collector' aka 'The Butterfly Collector' when Terence Stamp initially kidnaps Samantha Eggar.

Samantha Eggar walks up beside the van parked by Terence Stamp, he grabs her and proceeds to chloroform her.

It's a great scene but there are a few issues I have with it.

First off, Freddie played by TS uses far too much chloroform and literally drenches the pad. In reality he'd have killed anyone using that much.

Secondly, when Miranda played by SE is being chloroformed she keeps hold of her purse! If you're being kidnapped you're hardly going to be still holding your purse in your hand.

Thirdly, Freddie should be wearing gloves in my opinion.

Finally, once Miranda is unconscious Freddie ties her up and then improvises a gag with the chloroform pad secured over her mouth. Apart from reinforcing what I said earlier about probably killing her by overdosing the chlorofrom; I'd also be dubious about how long she's going to stay asleep. He'd have been better off tying her up properly and gagging her securely. He'd probably have been out of central London and away from any pesky witnesses by the time she wakes up.

All in all, the movie is a faithful adapatauon of the book, but that initial kidnap still irks me. :-)

Chloroform evaporates very quickly when exposed to air. A 2 ML bottle of chloroform will evaporate in about 5 minutes. That's why when you see historical examples of it being used for medical purposes, the chloroform is continuously dripped onto the mask over the patient's nose.

Also if you think he used enough chloroform to kill her why do you think she wouldn't stay asleep the entire time he was transporting her to his home?

Yes it does, but the application is only supposed to consist of a few drops at a time. If you have seen the movie he pours it on literally. It's far too much, it's ideally applied slowly in gradual amounts. Many of the first people who died as anaesthesia was being developed were due to overdose. Surgeons had trouble working out the ideal amount to use. That's why it's not used anymore as an anaesthetic.

Which leads on to the journey, the chloroform would probably have evaporated and Miranda would have come round.

In the real world it's a dangerous and tricky thing to use.

I'd do away with any one that thinks one solitary ziptie around the wrists is enough to pass as suitable bondage.
