Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

I made this account a few weeks ago now, and I've got to say that speaking with you guys has helped me to feel like I'm not alone and I've started to become much less ashamed of my kinky side. I mean don't get me wrong, I wouldn't choose to tell someone, but if they found out, I feel like I'd be able to deal with it a bit better than I would have done before, so thank you guys.

Mate you'd be amazed how much more accepted kink is in society now, as much as I hate the books and films I think Fifty Shades f Grey did help a lot with people being generally more accepting of it.

But for real I'm in facebook groups with literally tens of thousands of members and they share kink-related posts all the time. You're absolutely not alone, just gotta put yourself out there more. Besides after I came out about being bi and into bondage most peoples' reaction was just "ok, cool."

Not saying you should tell anyone because that's entirely on you, just saying maybe people will be more ok with it than you think. Yes there's still a lot of judgmental people out there but the world has changed a lot :D

That’s great to hear, @Ducttapeenthusiast…your kink is nothing to be ashamed of! In fact, I think that you should be happy about it. Okay, I get it…sometimes that’s easy to say, but is realistically much more complicated a matter. But I think about it this way—being tied up has the capacity to relax me like nothing else can. It’s comforting and can provide hours of fun for the low, low price of duct tape (or rope, chain, handcuffs, leather straps, or other bondage gear of choice). It’s the gift that keeps on giving. You can engage in your kink by yourself or with others. Your kink can manifest itself as a serious hobby, fun pastime, relaxation technique, form of exercise (hey, struggling burns calories…so I think that counts), or sexual activity. And—while what @TayDay95 said is absolutely true (there are many people who share your same kinks and interests, and I think kink-awareness in on the rise), it does make us unique. And I like that!

So, all that said—I hope you are still doing well and continuing on in your journey of kink self-acceptance!

I agree, even though the books and movies are hot garbage, I feel 50 shades did a lot to at least help the bondage hobby get a tiny bit more easy to justify interest in

Bondage is finally a thing that's okay to talk about, even if it's kind of pedestrian by the standards of enthusiasts, and that's a good thing. I like that the community no longer has to be a hidden thing, talked around instead of being addressed openly!
