Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

safely learning about gags after gag reflux gone

Post by Solarbeast »

I just learned yesterday by stumbling upon it that my severe gag reflux is gone, hopefully fully gone. I'm now writing this with the removable gag of my dog hood not removed and shoved in my mouth. The dog hood is also tightly locked on my head; only a key can now be used to remove the hood and gag. So I'm asking here what are some things that I could or should do or know that will help me learn how to safely use gags on myself, especially since I've only ever been able to use otm/otn gags on myself.

I nearly gagged with lots of stuffed gags but learnt to usevery small stuffing matching the size of my mouth.

I know it’s been said many times before but be very careful with stuff gags. Especially if playing alone, there are many reported cases of people choking during play. We all love them to effectively silence our playmate but they can be dangerous.

I'm probably going to avoid stuff gags for a while for both safety reasons and I never got into them.

At the moment, I only have the gag attached to my dog hood, and a metal lips and tongue holder, but once the income starts flowing again, I'd like to get a ring gag, a ball gag, and a bone gag. I enjoy things that can be locked, but the safety, in case my gag reflux comes back, to have the gag attached to something is what I'll be looking at until I feel comfortable removing that aspect.

In my view, ball gags block more air and hurt you more than stuff.

Most important thing to consider when playing with gags is to have a quick out option if your body decides not to cooperate. That can either be an attentive dom who can remove it if you show signs of distress, scissors, etc. I would strongly caution against using a locking gag alone. Start small/simple and work your way up to bigger gags and longer times gagged. And don't forget to give your jaw a break every so often using ball gags or similar:)
