I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. You know, I never really knew how I got into it, but I blame reading all the TinTin comics and The Hotspur/Commando comics of the 50s, that my dad grew up reading and handed them down. All contained lots of scenes of getting captured and tied up but escaping and saving the day. Id say that had a big impact on little me

I remember watching a superhero series which was very popular in India called Shaktimaan which is a copy of Superman. In this show the Superhero is a reporter like Clark Kent and has a reporter love interest Geeta Vishwas (Lois Lane). In one episode Geeta and her mother gets chloroformed by an evil scientist and his goons. They kidnap Geeta and takes her away. The scene was good except that gag was missing. As a 5 year old, I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed the whole episode. I loved the Chloroforming, kidnapping and bondage scenes. From there onwards, i started praying and hoping to see more of such scenes in daily soaps and movies. But that one episode was the beginning of everything.

Looking back, I too think it was cartoons that awakened my interest in bondage. When I was quite small I watched a lot of Inspector Gadget, on which the girl (I think her name was Penny) was getting captured, tied, and gagged constantly, it seemed. Another was, as mentioned above, Aladdin, as well as a few episodes of The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few here, seems like plenty of cartoons back then had some innocent tying and gagging going on
Around this same time, I had a handful of real-life experiences being tied up by friends of mine, with the occasional gagging thrown in, but it didn't happen too terribly often and, really, didn't make for a very interesting story. Still, it was more than enough to spark a lifelong interest!
I remember a scene from a scooby doo movie. I think it was about the Mayans? Daphne at one point is tied up as a sacrifice. Had an effect on me as a kid. Combined with me watching legends of the hidden temple lol.
