Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

Carnivals/festivals that have tie up elements

Post by Unknown 652 »

To start, I know fasnet has some tie up elements. It's a weird German carnival where the people doing the festival dress up in Halloween like costumes. They then throw confetti and just generally play tricks on the audience. Shoes get stolen and occasional socks but they get them given back.

Now for the tie up elements.
There is a chance that the people stealing the shoes also zip tie people's legs together making them hop around. Or they could get put in stocks and get their faces painted. And in some places people even get wrapped up in cling film partially.

There's a lot of videos about fasnet on YouTube.

There's this antique Roman carnival parade in Szombathely, Hungary. They have slaves, too.

not a festival, but there is a tradition at weddings in some regions of Germany where the bride is "kidnapped" by her entourage and the groom and groomsmen must then go in search of her. Usually, they are found in a pub, and the ransom demands are to pay the bar bill! Not sure whether this results in any actual tying though!
I love all things bondage. Always up for a chat

I like the videos where they have damsels get tied to like wheels during the parades

Uh, I don't really know that much... I've been in Szombately a long time ago (and I know that the "L" is silent :-)), it's very near the Austrian border. I've seen photos somewhere of a group of slaves wearing actual chains and so on.

The next one is August 22nd - 25th 2024, anyone wants to go??
