I used to collect Les Aventures de Tintin as a kid. Always a fun read and almost always one good bondage and gagging scene.
Astérix le Gaulois also regularly featured bondage scenes.

I three of theme one sins childhood "Tintin and Golden Crab". As I buy me " Tintin Cigars of the Pharaoh" and "Tintin in Tibet" the most other I know TV and form public library. I think cam fact that was teeny when got I interested.
He even ends up being tied up in the rocket flying to the moon 
Peak TUP activity is in " vol 714 pour Sydney ", Hadock ties asian guys by the dozens and admits he "loves tying knots" ...
Mostly males tied up, by the way, and no girlfriend in sight, not a flirt in 22 albums...
Consistent with my home-made theory ( ie: "no mainstream sex = more bondage" , I know: I'm not Freud nor Lacan ...)

Tintin have loads of bondage in each album. My favorite non-gag is when he is chloroformed in the Unicorn-album.
