I found this site by accident, searching for a phrase to put into my in progress novel of BDSM erotica.

I'm an old guy. I'm so old that I contributed to something called alt.sex.bondage on an internet entity called "usenet" and in a set of public forums called "newsgroups", which was text only. This is so far back, that I did not have a home ISP, but had to access the internet from my high-tech employer. Barbaric, right?! Wink. I couldn't focus on working until I got my daily fix from a.s.b. And by fix, use your imagination, but nothing disgusting. I would compare this website to another forum that I loved called alt.sex.erotica which were fictional stories, and should have been cough dominated with hetero fantasies, but a large fraction, like one fourth of it, had BDSM themes, some non-consensual, but my favorites were fictional encounters with implied consent from the submissive. A.s.e would append various acronyms in the subject line to declare the stories content. Like NC for non-consensual, SS for same sex, H for hetero, DS, L (for leather), R for Rubber, etc. I'm going to throw out a troll to other old folks. Who read the "Nurse Jones" saga on alt.sex.bondage?

For more history, alt.sex.bondage eventually was flooded by porn site advertising, and those folks that wanted to continue to have adult conversations about fetish (is that word too loaded?) sexual interests, and found refuge in a soc.alternative."something i forgot" forum. I looked at it occasionally, but hosting of the usenet was moving to weirder and weirder web access, and eventually the uber lords of the internet just shutdown newsgroups.

Meanwhile, I'm excited at posting excerpts from my novel and getting feedback from hopefully an open/same minded audience.
