I like a challenge so if I can escape I do, however I'm always thrilled when I've proven to myself that there is no escape, then I can alternate between struggling and enjoying my situation.

Of the three choices I provided I know I do a bit of each, so another way to think of the question is: what is your primary goal when tied up?

I am always the one tying up and have never been seriously tied up, but I use maximum 20 minutes for strained positions (like a hogtie, or strappado) and 45 minutes for comfortable positions (like in bed, or only having hands tied in front). One hour is my ideal amount of time to be tied up. I agree a bed tie is easier but I enjoy struggling in a good tight hogtie.

How long do you like to be tied up for without a break? In order to compare apples to apples imagine the position is a hogtie.
