Stories of Tie Up Games

So a VERY interesting subject came up on the “TUG Talk” forum, regarding getting tied up & gagged by your clone / a clone.

I’ve seen this trope done before in numerous types of fictional media, usually sci-fi or fantasy; where a doppelgänger (someone or something that is able to change their appearance to look like others), often abducts an individual they then assume the appearance of.

The victim usually is stashed somewhere, tied & gagged, while the doppelgänger carries out some nefarious scheme while impersonating them.

Honestly, I might take some of the characters I’ve already written about, and put them in sort of a “comic book world” where there might be a villain / thief known as The Doppelgänger who kidnaps them.

However…I might also be interested to read someone else’s story, with a similar concept.

So, anybody feel free to make inquiries about possible plots.

As usual, I’m a fan of OTM / detective gags & tape gags (single or several strips). Ropework, too.

I pity the poor clone that looks like me and has to kidnap and put up with me.

Did you say they could be your characters too? So those written for requests too?

I haved this idea a long ago, a bully kid and his mother both kidnap a boy and his mother, and act as doppelgangers of them.

I was thinking so...keeping the general characters the same; but maybe tweaking their background a bit, and making the world / setting a bit more fantastical (something akin to Gotham City or Metropolis, where you'd have normal crime; but maybe also occasionally something more like a comic book).

This certainly is an interesting idea. Also, a fresh new take on the Doppelgänger scenarios. I really like the idea

May take some time before I actually write the thing; but I like hearing ideas.

My original roleplay idea has seem to balloon into something here.

I better add that to the backlog I have. If anyone wants to help refine ideas, I am free for a message.

I have another "doppelganger" idea:

I happen to read in the newspaper that the casting for the advertising campaign of the biggest company in our city has been successfully completed, and you'll be their new face. The same article mentions that at least four different commercials are to be filmed with you—in addition to countless billboards.

I could really use the money from the commercials! There's also a photo of you in the newspaper—we're spitting images of each other!

Since I'm currently short on cash, I decide to kidnap you and only keep you captive until the last commercial is filmed—with me playing your role, of course—and your fee has been deposited into an account set up in your name, to which only I have access. Although—the filming will probably take a few days or weeks...!

Would you be interested in such a scenario, and if so, are there any must-haves or no-gos? You can PM me if so.
