I recommend taking several; I've noticed that a rope can quickly be used up 100% in just one area.

How many is good and what sizes also that aren't too long or too small?
I have one bit of rope. I also have a scarf, a belt, a strap thingy for a rucksack, and a spare shoelace. Sometimes have to improvise. Oh and socks also.

Hahaha, yes, you have to improvise, but I wouldn't really know how to answer you there.

Better to have too much than too little tbh. You can always double the rope over! In fact a lot of ties are better if you do.

Personally, I planned to dedicate one of them to my legs and the other to my torso and arms. I think that's the simplest way.
