Stories of Tie Up Games

Here's a storyverse-related question I've often wondered and asked maybe a handful of you over the years. I'm gonna try wording this as clearly as possible.

Do you feel as though socks from certain guys are more appropriate than others for specific scenarios? Or are all socks pretty much even? Like, if you had access to all the laundry hampers from the entire "bondagefreak verse" cast, would you consider certain socks more fitting for particular settings (eg: hazing, consensual bondage play, correctional bondage, kidnapping, etc)? I think all socks are fair game. If a hamper was labeled with a name of a guy and a bondage game or hazing is in the works, free access to any socks that fit the agenda for the victim.

I say No with some exceptions. For me, BDSM and romance are entangled in a lot of the relationship dynamics of your stories. Such as Steven and Nick. Every part of that bondage including the gag choice reflect that. I much prefer for a dom to gag their sub with their own socks or someone they know the sub finds attractive if that is not their sub.

I have a pure hatred for gagging subs with their own socks. I want the dom to convey a message with the gag they choose. Grabbing random socks is not nearly as exciting as using the socks to inflict humiliation, cruelty and/or erotic pleasure. Ideally it will reflect all three, such as Steven sucking on Nick’s socks.

Even if the dom doesn’t have a romantic interest in the sub, they can still inflict humiliation and cruelty. Such as Andrew forcing Ethan to endure his father’s socks or Andrew’s own sock. There is that humiliation of eating your family members foot odor and the cruelty of that disgusting taste of those socks.

The only exception I see is if the dom’s don’t have a long standing relationship with the sub. For example, Corey’s story about finding the jocks tying up the nerds. Any socks; other than the sub’s own socks, are perfectly fine to deal with situation. The second an erotic nature is added to the scene, who’s socks the sub is sucking on matter.

I think you're also playing with certain levels of severity. Like some of these guys would have an easier time making socks torturous, but some guys have socks already at that level due to their habits. I think making them situational based on severity is fun and all... but if all socks are there. All socks are fair game.

I would say yes, since my adoration of socks comes from the wearer themselves. Without it, I feel like the sock is more akin to a tool that has perfect use for different scenarios.

BUT, Socks from certain guys will up the anti. Consider....socks from certain individuals will always add an extra level of natural built in humiliation. As an example, a rival or someone who you despise. If someone else knows and exposes you to subject's socks, or even the rival or other expose you directly to their socks, this to me is just that little bit more severe. OR?

So all the hampers from the cast are fair game for hazing etc, just think of what you may feel when someone you may not care for or despise subjects you to their own socks or another dude knows and subjects you anyways to the guy's you don't care for? e.g. Phil, or Brad's socks?

Yes, I like the wears of the socks to be involved, grabbing someone else’s socks only is fun if they are involved or are connected to the circumstance. Either as someone there forcing it, or even as distant as the socks of a team member who isn’t there for a hazing.

I generally think that it doesn't matter whose the socks are; their... condition is much more important

I think the socks used are dependent on the relationships. Like Nick's socks are more appropriate for Steven then they would be for Ethan.

Of course severity plays a role too. Harsher punishments need harsher socks.

As would others, I would agree that it depends on the relationship more. I would prefer Steven be subjected to Nick's stinkbombs. Although sock type variation would add an additional flavor and help with visualization of the severity. If I remember correctly, there was a discussion back then that you avoid wearing dress socks like a plague as it makes your feet unbearable. Questions like on what instances would Nick or Erick would be wearing those type of socks. If they avoid them like a plague, what made them wear it? Could it be a preference of their sub? Hope what I'm saying makes sense hahahah.

I'm not yet familiar with all the stories referenced but have read most, or some of most of them. Personally, I think I agree with what @Bradstick says here very strongly and also with what @socjuc describes.

For me, physical attraction to the Dom's face, body, and feet of whom's socks are being used as the gag matters the most as well as the interpersonal relationship (if there is one- friend, rival, just met during hazing, etc.) It's also hotter if the owner of the socks is there, and aware of their usage as a gag on a sub, but can be hot when they're not bc they're in a way dom'ing without even knowing or being present. I, too, hate being gagged with my own socks or a sub being gagged with their own socks. It's not as hot and just doesn't convey a message like @Bradstick said. There's definitely a component too of how rank IS the sock like @socjuc said...this can sometimes be too much /become a turnoff or be gross-but forgiven if you're super attracted to the dom or the scenario. At least to me, anyway.

In a hazing situation, the victim/sub probably hardly knows anyone so the interpersonal connections are fairly all equal. Other than he may have crushes on certain ones, but the Dom's may not always know that. But someone's socks who is known to have stinkier feet/socks may seem, or be, more appropriate to torture/humiliate them at a higher level or more severely. Also, perhaps a Captain's sock, or a dad's, or a cop's, is more humiliating than just a lower level guy's. There's that dynamic too, of titles and hierarchy.
