My husband tried his old briefs but they were too large for my mouth so it was always my bikini not classic knickers.

I never understood how people fit a full pair of panties in their mouths. I agree it has to be a smaller type.

Me neither. I've experimented with panties as stuffing in the past and even smaller ones are a bit much for me. Honestly, lots of people seem to think that you need more stuffing to gag someone than you actually do.

Okay let’s add my opinion here if that’s okay.
Over the years (I’m in my early 40’s and have been happily married for many years) I’ve often found myself gagged with either my panties or bikini bottoms (always clean) as I do find it pleasantly and sensually humiliating. Though I must state again it’s a pleasant humiliation.
Depending on the style one pair can pack my mouth though we stopped using duct tape a long time ago due to its harshness. Instead we use broad PVC electrician’s tape. Just as effective not so painful or unpleasant to remove

I like lace panties. They are smaller and comfortable in the mouth.
I also like to use tights with a thigh high stocking rolled up and stuffed in the mouth. I fold the tights in half and start at the back of the head and tie end over end in the mouth then again in the back. It's a good stuffed cleave gag thst works and isn't too thick.
I like when the gag is comfortable and effective. Not completely without sound but enough to tease.

I must have a JJ Plush mouth. I can generally fit two large pairs of panties in my mouth and seal them rather tight. I'm all about large gags though anyway. I currently have a 2+ inch ballgag and it's one of my favorite gags, I really want to try one of those huge 3' ballgags.
But back to the topic, I'd much rather have panties stuffed in my mouth than my own underwear. I'd be lying if I said the disgust at the thought of the latter wasn't turning me on a bit though

The 2+ inch ball gags are fun. A three inch would be a mouthful! But yes, panties are fun for sure. Can't beat the taste
