Real Life Scooby Doo Mystery

So, I really love this comic done by jokerismyname on DeviantArt.

Basically, we follow a group dressed as the Scooby Doo gang heading to a Halloween party. On the way they stop by our main character’s (dressed as Daphne) place of work. While there she is kidnapped and the rest of the gang set out to find her while also trying to find out who’s responsible.
It would be nice a to see a story done in a similar vein to this. Not a verbatim copy, but similar.
