Sock Girl entered the abandoned warehouse. This was only her third time fighting crime and her first two attempts went pretty well. Having discovered a trunk full of powerful socks. Samantha Turner, aka Sock Girl, discovered that they gave her powers depending on what she wore. Today she wore a mismatched pair of socks. One was with lightning bolts on it. The other was pairs of glasses. This pair gave her x ray vision and super speed. Having scanned the warehouse from outside, the 19 year old brunette with the athletic ability of a gymnast went inside. She had seen some weird activity going on here before so naturally, this was her next visit.
Sam began to use her x ray vision to scan crates and boxes. Several were empty until she noticed one with a pile of cash. "Holy shit, Sam!" She said to herself. "There's enough in there to buy a small island! Maybe I should of worn the socks of strength," she quips. "Still, I'll go leave a tip for the cops so they can find it." She turns to leave when she spotted a car parking outside using her ability to see through the wall. Sam quickly hid behind several empty crates. She wasn't much of a fighter yet but has enrolled in a martial arts class soon after her discovery.
A couple of rough looking guys came in. "I think the crate is there," said one of them. They headed over and looked in. Sure enough, it was their crate. "Ok, get a dolly here so we can take it to the boss."
Sam grew alarmed. She couldn't let this happen. Being young and feeling pretty invincible she popped out from behind her hiding spot.
"Freeze, bad guys!" She blurted out defiantly. "That money isn't yours!"
The guys looked at her. Dressed in black yoga pants, a black T-shirt with a black utility vest along with a pair of doc martens and her socks sticking out above them, the men couldn't help but laugh. "What's this kid doing here?" One of them asked. "I'm not a kid! I'm 19 I'll have you know, and I'm Sock Girl, defender of the city from scum like you!"
"Oh, so we should be afraid? Get her Bill." Bill went to grab Sam by the arm but she rapidly moved out of the way. "Whoa! She's pretty quick!" He said. Jack. His buddy, charged her but she was able to dodge him swiftly as well. "Just leave and I'll not report you to the cops!" Samantha declared. "Ok, ok, we're leaving," Bill said. He and Jack quickly exited the building. Sam breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't really want to fight . Yes, she was quick but she was still learning to fight. She opened a pocket on her utility vest and pulled out her phone. "Time to call the cops," she announced to no one in particular. Unfortunately for Sam, her back was now turned to the door and she didn't notice the men come back in.
"Darn it! My battery is low. I thought I charged this thing!"
Then suddenly....POKE!
Sam turned around. "I thought you left?" She said, stumbling after having been poked with a needle. "Wh...what did you....you....do..." Samantha Turner collapsed to the ground and the two men soon had Sock Girl bound and gagged. She was about to find out the one weakness she never knew she had.
