Stories of Tie Up Games

Lorie and Daniela were happily hopping through the forest. The Girl Scout camp had been a lot of fun for them so far and had not only given them unforgettable experiences, but also lots of new badges. And now the highlight was waiting:

The girls had to search for a treasure in the form of chocolate coins in groups of two. The leaders had already put up the clues in the form of puzzles or markings the evening before and the two thought they had already deciphered many clues. The treasure had to be within reach!

Finally, the two discovered the place where the box had to be - and right there, two figures were busy digging! Had other Girl Scouts from their group been there before them? Perhaps there were enough chocolate coins that they could also be divided into four? It didn't cost anything to ask!

But there were two men digging there. The girls politely introduced themselves and asked if the men had come across any chocolate coins by chance. When the answer was "no," the girls were about to move on when one of the men called after them: "Wait a minute, you two! Are you Girl Scouts?"

"And pretty successful ones at that!" said Lorie, proudly pointing to her badges. "And we're on a treasure hunt!" added Daniela. "Really? Us too... sort of!" said the man who had asked her. "By the way, I'm... Mike and this is my... brother Thomas! Nice to meet you! Would you mind taking a look at this puzzle? Unfortunately, we can't do anything with it!"

Mike handed Lorie a piece of paper. "400 steps east of the dog. Then across the river, then under the 30-meter-high birch tree," it said.

Daniela cheered. "We've already passed the dog - it's not a living animal, but a rock formation that looks like a dog's head from a distance!" she explained.

"Brilliant! Can you take us there?" shouted Mike. But Lorie crossed her arms in front of her chest and said: "Only if you give us half of the treasure!"

"That's out of the question... ouch!" shouted Thomas, but his brother quickly stepped on his toes. "What my brother was just about to say was: If we have the treasure, of course you get half!" At Thomas's indignant look, Mike quickly reached into his right trouser pocket and Thomas understood: They wouldn't have to share anything - but the girls shouldn't find out about that yet.

After the deal was sealed with a handshake, the four of them set off. Thanks to Daniela and Lorie's scouting skills, the following puzzles were also solved and they finally found themselves at the place where the treasure must have been buried. Mike praised the girls and threw them two shovels. "You helped us so much - you deserve the honor of digging up the treasure. Here you go! And then we'll share, as promised!"

The girls started digging with enthusiasm, not even noticing that Mike had pulled a gun and a rope out of his jacket pocket. They just kept digging until Lorie let out a cry of joy. "That must be the treasure!" Together they lifted the wooden box out of the hole. "Well done!" shouted Mike. "Then let's share! We both get... everything and you both get... nothing!"

Indignant, Daniela turned around - and stared down the barrel of a gun! Thomas pointed his gun at Lorie and Daniela in turn. Both girls raised their hands. "The treasure comes from the bank that our boss... you know! But unfortunately the boss was arrested before he could share it with us! When we - as his "sons" - visited him in prison, he was able to secretly slip us the riddle! And thanks to your help, we were finally able to find the loot!" explained Thomas.

Mike approached the girls, who were afraid to resist the guns pointed at them, and examined their badges. Then he threw a rope to Lorie and shouted: "Since you already have the knot badge, tie your friend's hands behind her back. But tight, we'll check it! And explain step by step what you're doing! Go on!"

"I'm very sorry - but I have no choice! He has a gun!" shouted Lorie as she unrolled the rope. "I'm not mad at you! The main thing is that we get out of here alive! Go on, I'll somehow endure this!" replied Daniela after turning around and crossing her wrists behind her back.

"First I'm going to double the rope!" Lorie began. Then she continued explaining as she wrapped the rope twice around Daniela's crossed wrists, pulled it once between her wrists and knotted it at the end out of reach of Daniela's fingers.

Next, Lorie had to take off her scout colleague's shoes and socks before tying Daniela's ankles together, who was now lying on her stomach. Again, she explained step by step how she did it. On the criminals' instructions, she passed the last rope around her bare feet between Daniela's wrists to secure her in a tight hogtie.

When Daniela was lying on her stomach tied up in a hogtie, Mike took another rope and asked Lorie to take off her shoes and socks as well and to clasp her hands behind her back. "Let's see if I was paying attention properly..." he said.

A little later, Lorie was also tied up in a hogtie next to her friend. When she asked Mike twice to pull the rope tighter, Daniela protested - but Lorie just said: "It's not my fault - he has a gun!" "Very true!" said Mike after he had tightened the last knot. Then he briefly smelled the girls' socks and said: "Since you explained to me how to tie someone up properly, you get a reward - but not a badge, just the less smelly socks! Open your mouth!"

"What? No! Please don`t! I... mmmmmpf!" were Lorie's last words before she had Daniela's socks in her mouth. Her own scarf held the filling in her mouth. Daniela had Lorie's socks stuffed into her mouth and had to gag. How it stank! “Don't throw up and choke on it!”, she thought.

Then Thomas took Daniela's cell phone and called the number stored for the scout leadership. He explained to her that the girls had fled from a vicious dog in the forest, but were now safe in his house. Since his battery was almost empty, he would not call again until tomorrow morning, but the leadership should not worry, she could pick up the girls tomorrow. The leader promised to inform the parents so that they would not worry either.

He hung up and both men left the girls lying on the earthy ground somewhere in the woods. Lorie and Daniela had overheard - and knew that they were in for an uncomfortable night tied up with barely sleep...

Great story though it seemed to jump from a forest to am apartment at the end.

It is unreasonable to expect American terms to be detailed. I certainly don't explain all the terms I use in proper English (Ooops! Did I say that out loud?) in my own writing. Be aware that speakers of American English will be using their native language and can't be expected to be aware of the Transatlantic vaiations.

English is not my mother tongue - so I used computer help to translate it. But I think you meant the "leader" of the group, right?

By the way - I could continue with the story if wished... (again not in perfect English), so tell me.

Part 2 (again computer translated):

After some time and several attempts, Daniela managed to remove her gag on a slightly protruding floorboard. She immediately spat out the sock and coughed violently. Lorie immediately made loud gagging noises and fidgeted violently with her bound hands.

Daniela understood what Lorie meant: she should try to use her teeth to somehow loosen the knots in the ropes that bound Lorie's hands together. But as she came closer, something suddenly blocked her brain. "Yuck, Lorie! When was the last time you washed your feet? It stinks like a whole cheese shop!"

"HMMMMMH!" Lorie screamed indignantly into her gag! Daniela's feet didn't smell much better after the long day of hiking and the nervous tension of the kidnapping - she had tasted that for the last few minutes through the sock gag. But was she complaining about it? No - after all, they were in the same predicament - an argument really wouldn't help anyone!

Lorie held out her bound hands to Daniela once again, but Daniela ignored them. Instead, Daniela crawled away, still lying on her stomach with her hands and feet tied together. "You stay here! I'll get help!"

Lorie screamed into her gag again - the plan contained far too many imponderables. Daniela had to crawl through the wilderness on her stomach, at a reduced speed, in the right direction, find someone at all, convince them of the seriousness of the situation, find the way back to the bound Lorie without being surprised by animals or the gangsters...

But by then Daniela had already crawled away. Her bound bare feet were the last to disappear from Lorie's field of vision and Lorie was left alone - her own inescapable bonds were the least of her worries...

A good story, liked the premise and despite mostly knowing how it would end (the girls double crossed and bound) it was still definitely worth the read.

Chapter two enjoyable too, a still bound escape attempt. Excellent.

Part 3:

Daniela made slow progress. Firstly, she was not used to crawling forward lying on her stomach - especially since she could not push herself forward with her arms and legs still tied behind her back, but had to do everything - literally - from her gut. She had to take short breaks again and again to catch her breath, and many of her scout badges had come off her uniform and were scattered around the forest.

And there was an even more serious problem: she had gotten lost! In her panic, she had simply crawled away and no longer knew where exactly she was. It didn't help that, as a scout, she of course knew that moss usually grows on the northwest side of trees. Because which direction were the camp and the hut facing? She realized that her hasty escape could potentially cost two girls their lives and began to cry. In that moment of emotion, she didn't even feel her bonds.

Lorie flinched when the door opened and the two kidnappers - because it was now obvious that they were being kidnapped - came in. "Now, here's something to drink... Damn, isn't one missing?" asked Mike.

He took the gag off Lorie and asked her: "Where's your girlfriend? Answer!" Lorie coughed and answered truthfully: "I don't know! I... hmmmpf!" Immediately her old gag was back in her mouth. "Don't try to fool us, little one!" He threw the glass of water he was about to give her to drink into Lorie's face. Then he tickled Lorie's bare soles.

Lorie squirmed and screamed. The water dropped into her eyes and the tickling was horrible and seemed to last for hours. When she thought she was going to lose consciousness at any moment, Mike stopped and said: "You already know the question! So?"
