How long does it take to get tied up?

Whether bondage or self bondage, how long does it normally take for you to get completely tied up?

For me, this normally ends up being somewhere between 15-20 minutes…and that’s if I know exactly what position I want to get in and what gear I’ll be using. Sometimes, I find myself getting distracted with other gear and cuffs that I haven’t used in a while…then its an hour later and I’m still half-way tied up and can’t make a decision on what I really want to do. :D

That depends on the intensity and severity of the tie-up I'd like to achieve.

For a quick overnight tie-up, it usually takes me less than 10 minutes (the cuffs and ropes are loose and allow for plenty of mobility).

For times when I like to stay tied-up and severely restricted in mobility, it can actually take nearly an hour to complete the tie-up!

I always find that the time to untie, while proportional to the time to tie-up, is always significantly less, as hopefully it always should. Nevertheless, I wish my wife could just magically snap her fingers (or wiggle her nose) and have me instantly strictly bound and gagged. Ah, if only kinky witches and warlocks (but still kind an compassionate) with real magical powers existed...

It usually takes me around 5-10 minutes to have myself bound and gagged.

Hard to give a consistent answer to this one as like others have pointed out, it all depends on how elaborate of a session you are going for.

My wife ties me up in less than 5 minutes! I usually got hogtied when she ties me up. She was a scout in her younger days, and is very good tying up others.

If I'm going for a long tie up session. Legs, arms, hands, multi layered stuff gag and blindfold. Probably anything between 10 and 20 mins to enjoy the gradual restriction

For a nice secure taped to chair, took my wife like 10 minutes to do me proper.

The time she tried to tie me with rope like a ropexpert model......took her like 30 minutes.

I did get lucky. But I did have to beg her.
And watch like 10 videos so she knew what to do.

Varies based on so many different factors. Absolute fastest, only few minutes. I have taken part in an activity before called "speed rope" where you just have three minutes and one length of rope to tie someone - obviously there's a strict limit to how complex you can get there, but most people manage something, and a few people did some impressive stuff. Normally a bit longer than that, certainly.

The extreme other end is probably rope suspension, and mummification. While it can be done faster, in the most extreme cases you're looking at maybe an hour just of getting tied (or wrapped) up.

When I'm personally tying, it tends to be a bit slower since I'm still quite clumsy and insecure in my skills.

I think most of the time I spend on getting tied up is more towards preparation like choosing and changing into the sets of clothes to fit in whatever vibe I'm going for the scenario ahaha. I think it generally will take up around 10-15 to get myself tied up? I have relatively simple technique to tie myself up - ropes for my bodies, and loops of cloth for wrist tie - but I can take a while as I adjust them to make sure they're both secure and comfy.

I was always intrigued by this question..

If you search for "woman hogties male" on the site that begins with a "bo" and ends in an "ub" there's a great f/m tie up where a woman ties up a guy in stages (he rolls around helplessly in between).

about 1m30s to secure his hands, 1 min to tie up his ankles and just over another minute to put him into a hogtie (he starts off tape gagged and blindfolded). The video has the look and feel of a Bertoni studios production so she definitely looks like its not her first (or his) rodeo :D I also love the fact that he's definitely tied up and won't be escaping anytime soon without assistance.

Its easily one of my favorite videos ever, but being f/m I guess its not for everyone, I guess the clue is in the name.

I watched a challenge video where the participants were given several rounds to tie each other up. First 4 minutes, then 3, then 2, and then 1 minute. One of them was able to tie the other inescapably in his 3 and 4 minute rounds. So that is within the realm of possibility.

However, spending a solid 10 minutes or so ensuring the captive is tied propperly usually results in a secure but reasonablly comfortable restraint. That video did show that when they rushed, they either didn't get the captive tied very well, or something hurt. And that's not a good vibe.

So in short, take your time with it. And remember the old adage which I have adopted.

"Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast."

I have two rigger.
My older brother and my husband.

My bro usually takes 10 minutes to secure me and for "secure me" I mean even Houdini can't escape. I think he could go <5 minutes if I make him rush and I sure I would be unable to escape. He is a seasoned rock climber, ropes are just an extension of his hands😂

Husband is learning from my brother. The first my hubby could take up to 45 minutes to properly time up😂.
Now he is a solid 15-20 minutes depending on my "struggling"😂
