Do you preferr rope or tape as a tying/gagging material?

I always, always, always lean towards rope. I just like how it looks (and feels)

Rope for tying, tape for gagging (duct-tape specifically, but I've grown fond of microfoam).

I agree with others, rope for tying and tape for gagging.

For tying someone up, rope has to be the best, it's sort of traditional, and it just look so good.

Not a big fan of tape myself, whether for tying, or used as a gag, but each to his/her own

Yup!

I prefer rope for aesthetic reasons and I like how there has to be some element of skill for it to be done well....with that being said the way someone could be rapidly trussed up with tape is awesome too

Tape, I absolutely adore the stuff, the stickier the better imo

Tape for the fact that I can never escape tape whereas rope seems easy to escape (probably the way I've been tied I guess).

Depends which side of bed I got out of in the morning, changes so often! Tape gags always though lol

Rope for tying, tape for gagging. Tried binding with tape a few times and the adhesive just pulls at the skin. A little painful if you ask me I prefer microfoam or pvc tape for gagging too over duct tape. A lot less painful to remove… and looks better

Ropes. I love the bite with every struggle.

I’ve personally never tried rope, but I feel like I’d enjoy it more

I've only had experience with rope with the few times I have been tied up and most of my fantasies are revolved around the use of rope but am quite interested in trying out tape. Seems like it would be a lot easier to use and can restrain a lot quicker also and not having to fiddle around with knots etc.

Only downside maybe is trying to get it off and the fact it's non-renewable also so can be wasteful also.

Definitely ropes. I like the feeling of ropes tightly wrapping around my body.

Rope. I just don't like tape on my skin or the sound it makes when you move.
