Escape Room (mmm/mmm)

Max, Paul and Jonas, three 18-year-old friends, were wearing their tight skinny jeans that day, which fitted them like a second skin. They had decided to visit a particularly challenging escape room known for its tricky puzzles.
When they entered the room, they immediately noticed the gloomy atmosphere. The sparse lighting and sparse furnishings made the room seem even more mysterious. In the middle of the room was an old wooden table on which ropes and a pair of handcuffs lay. Next to it was a piece of paper, which Jonas picked up and read aloud.
"To solve this task, one of you must tie up the other two with the ropes. Be creative and make sure the ropes are tight. Once the two are tied up, the remaining boy must stand against the wall and tie his hands to the pipe above his head with the handcuffs. You have one hour to free yourselves."
The boys looked at each other and quickly agreed that Jonas should tie up the other two. Jonas picked up a rope and walked over to Paul, who was standing with his back to him.
"Stand there and put your hands behind your back," Jonas said with a mixture of seriousness and nervousness.
Paul did as he was told. Jonas began to wrap the rope around Paul's wrists. He pulled the rope taut, knotted it tightly and checked several times that the knots were secure. Paul's hands were now tied tightly together behind his back so that his palms were facing each other. The rope ran around his wrists several times before it was knotted tightly. Jonas continued to pull the rope around Paul's torso, over and under his arms to make sure he couldn't move his hands. Finally, Jonas passed the rope around Paul's legs and ankles and also secured it with tight knots so that Paul barely had any freedom of movement.
Next it was Max's turn. He also stood with his back to Jonas and put his hands behind his back. Jonas repeated the process, taking even more care this time. He wrapped the rope around Max's wrists, pulled it tight and knotted it firmly. Max's hands were tied in the same way as Paul's, tightly behind his back, palms facing each other. Again, the rope was passed around his wrists several times before it was securely knotted. Jonas then passed the rope further around Max's upper body and legs, pulled it tight and secured it with several knots so that Max could hardly move.
Once Max and Paul were tied up, Jonas instructed them each to lay in a corner of the room. They had 30 minutes to try and free themselves. Both boys squirmed and twisted, trying to move their hands to loosen the knots, but the ropes were tight. Every movement only seemed to pull the ropes tighter.
"This is impossible," Max gasped after a while as he struggled in vain to loosen the knots on his wrists. "Why did Jonas tie us up so well?"
Paul nodded in agreement and also struggled with his bonds. "I don't know, but he really did a great job. I can't get a single knot undone here. Couldn't he have been a bit more lenient?"
"It's as if he wants to keep us prisoners forever," Max said sarcastically. "Hey Jonas, have you thought about setting us free again sometime?"
Jonas, who was handcuffed to the wall, couldn't help but smile a little guiltily. "Sorry guys. I wanted to make sure it looked real. But don't worry, we'll get it right. You'll just have to keep trying."
Paul sighed and tried to relax a little. "Great, now we're stuck here and can't do anything. Next time you won't tie us up so well, understand?"
"I promise," said Jonas with an apologetic smile.
After 30 minutes without success, the next phase of the game began. Max and Paul were now allowed to try and help each other. Jonas, who was handcuffed to the pipe, watched them with a worried look.
Paul crawled over to Max and tried to undo the knots on Max's wrists with his fingers. It was an arduous task as his own hands were still tied tightly behind his back. Meanwhile, Max tried to turn so that Paul had better access to the knots. But despite their best efforts, they were unable to untie the tight knots.
An hour passed and the boys were exhausted and frustrated. Suddenly, a wall moved aside and opened up another room. Startled, they looked in and saw three more boys, also in tight skinny jeans and tied up with ropes.
The new boys were tied up just as tightly as Max and Paul. Their hands were tied behind their backs, just like Max and Paul. Their wrists were tied tightly together, the ropes wrapped around their wrists several times and knotted. Their upper bodies were bound with ropes that ran over and under their arms to further restrict their freedom of movement. Their legs were also bound, making it difficult for them to move.
An announcement now sounded through a loudspeaker: "You now all have the task of freeing each other. Work together, use your strength and skill. Time is running out from now on."
The boys in the new room looked just as exhausted, but also determined. They immediately began to help each other. Max, Paul and Jonas knew they had no time to lose. With renewed determination, Max and Paul crawled over to the other boys to examine their restraints and find any weak spots.
"Hey, what are your names? How did you get here?" asked Max as he tried to untie the knots on one of the new boys.
"I'm Tom, this is Chris and Alex. We've been here for about two hours. We were tied up by someone we couldn't see and locked in here. And you?" Tom replied.
"I'm Max, this is Paul and Jonas. We've also been tied up and have been trying to free ourselves for the last hour and a half. It seems like we're in the same boat," said Max.
"How long have you been trying to get free?" asked Paul.
"Since we've been here. We've tried and tried, but the bonds are incredibly tight. It seems like someone is really good at tying boys up," replied Alex.
"Let's work together. Maybe we'll have a better chance that way," suggested Jonas, who was still handcuffed to the wall.
Together, the six boys worked, their movements coordinated and focused. Each tried to untie the others' knots with their own hands. It was a strenuous endeavor, but slowly the first knots began to loosen.
The room was filled with quiet instructions, the clinking of handcuffs and the rustling of ropes. The boys knew that they only had a chance of getting out of this predicament if they worked together. Their cooperation was crucial and everyone did their best to break the bonds and regain their freedom.
After a long struggle, Paul finally managed to untie the knots from Max's wrists. With trembling hands and a sense of relief, Max immediately helped to undo Paul's bonds. One by one, they freed the other boys too.
Finally, they freed Jonas from the handcuffs. There was great joy and relief when they were finally all free. They left the escape room together, exhausted but happy and proud of their teamwork and determination.
