I think you need to wrap it in one, it might be sticker to itself?

You should try stretch the tape with your hands as you put it over your lips.

You can cover your hair with some cling film or a cloth if you still want to give it a bash!

It won’t stick badly to your hair. Test it, but I think you’ll be ok doing a head wrap gag

Agreed, microfoam has a really nice aesthetic to it. Could you not apply something underneath it to protect your hair?

Could always trying putting on a hood (nylon or something) if you're worried about the potential harm it could do to your hair.

I am going to admit defeat and let it move to my first aid cupboard and let it live there....

It could also be the brand you purchased. I have some that works like wonders forming to your face, and I got another kind that is more like athletic tape and doesn't do much.

I have a thing for being able to see the contour of the lips underneath the tape, so microfoam and pvc have always been my favorite types of tape. I’ve never had any issues with microfoam not sticking. It could be the brand you bought. I remember being disappointed when I tried kinesiology tape, but I think I bought a cheap brand as well. I’ve seen it look really good on others. Try 3M. Sticks great and doesn’t hurt to remove. It only loses its adhesive if you stick it and then try to re-stick. So don’t remove the gag
