Jan's laughter echoed through the backyard, her cheeks flushed from the warmth of the afternoon sun. She watched her son, Timmy, and daughter Rachel, along with Fiona’s two, Kimberly and Noah, sprint around the garden barefoot, their giggles floating on the air like the scent of freshly cut grass. The two friends lounged on matching pink and white striped beach towels, their bodies curving comfortably into the cushioned lounge chairs. Despite the stickiness of the heat, Jan felt a sense of peace that was as soothing as the cool drink in her hand.

Fiona playfully splashed Jan with the water from her spray bottle, her eyes glinting with mischief. "You know," she said, "you're looking pretty good for someone who's had two kids." Jan rolled her eyes, patting her stomach. "Thanks, but I wouldn’t wear the bikini today if it weren’t your garden". Both women had the curves of motherhood, but felt totally comfortable together.

“Be proud.” Said Fiona. “If it weren’t for the kids I’d shed this top.”

The children's laughter grew louder as they approached, their eyes wide with excitement. "Mom, Fi, we want to play a game!" Rachel exclaimed, holding a rope in her hand. "We found this in the shed. It's like a treasure hunt, but instead of finding things, we tie you up!"

Fiona's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Alright, you little rascals," she said, setting her drink aside. "But be gentle, we're not as young as we used to be." Jan chuckled, sipping her drink.

“Are you sure about this Fi?”

"Just remember, you're dealing with two superheroes here," Fiona warned playfully.

With the enthusiasm of a pack of puppies, the children dove into their task. Rachel took the lead, her pigtails bobbing as she secured Jan's wrists to the chair with surprising dexterity. Timmy, eager to impress, wrapped the rope around Jan's ankles with the same precision. Meanwhile, Kimberly and Noah tackled Fiona, their laughter pealing as they worked together to tether her to the lounge chair.

Fiona squirmed theatrically, playing along with the game. "Oh no, I've been captured by the evil twins!" she exclaimed. Jan's chuckles turned into full-blown laughter, her eyes watering as she watched her friend's dramatic performance. The children's giggles grew to shrieks as they tightened the knots, their faces scrunched with concentration.

Once both Jan and Fiona were securely tied, the kids stepped back to admire their handiwork. "Now, what do we do?" Timmy asked, a hint of doubt in his voice. Rachel, ever the leader, pondered for a moment before declaring, "We're going to leave you here and go get snacks. If you can escape before we come back, you win!"

The adults exchanged knowing smiles as the children dashed inside, the screen door slamming shut behind them. The silence that followed was filled only with the hum of distant lawnmowers and the occasional chirp of a bird. Jan leaned her head back and closed her eyes, feeling the sun's warmth on her face. "This isn't so bad," she murmured.

Fiona wiggled her fingers. "It's all fun and games until someone needs to pee," she quipped. Jan snorted, causing her to wobble slightly in her chair. "Speaking of games, remember when we used to play 'Mermaids' in the pool?"

"How could I forget?" Jan said, her eyes lighting up with nostalgia. "We'd tie our legs together and try to swim across the pool."

"Yeah," Fiona laughed, "and we'd always end up in a tangled mess."

The quiet was interrupted by the sound of squeaking screen door as the children burst back outside, their cheeks flushed with excitement and hands filled with snacks. They approached the bound adults, their eyes gleaming with curiosity. "You guys aren't going anywhere, are you?" Kimberly teased, holding out a plate of watermelon slices.

"Not unless you decide to free us," Jan retorted, her stomach rumbling. Rachel and Kimberly giggled, feeding them one piece of melon at a time, the juice dripping down their chins. Fiona's mouth watered at the sight of the sweet fruit. "Remember the time we tried to sneak snacks into the movie theater?" she said to Jan, her voice dripping with the sweetness of the watermelon.

Jan's eyes widened at the memory. "Oh my God, yes! And we got caught by that grumpy old usher." Their laughter grew louder, the sound of their amusement mingling with the distant hum of the neighborhood.

But the children had their own brand of amusement in mind. With a look of conspiracy, Rachel leaned in and whispered to her partners in crime, "They haven't escaped yet. That means they're our captives, and we get to tickle them!" The other three nodded, their eyes alight with the thrill of power.

Timmy and Noah pounced on Jan first, their little fingers dancing across her midriff and ribs. Jan's laughter started as a gentle rumble, grew into full-bodied guffaws, and eventually turned into pleas for mercy. Her whole body jolted with every tickle, the chair squeaking in protest under her squirming weight. Rachel and Kimberly watched with glee, taking notes for when it was Fiona's turn.

Fiona's eyes grew wide as the two little girls approached her chair, their expressions scheming. "Remember the code word?" Jan managed to gasp out between giggles. "Mermaid! Mermaid!" But it was too late. Rachel and Kimberly descended upon her feet, their tickling hands unrelenting. Fiona's laughter pealed through the air, a sound that could make even the most stoic of souls crack a smile.

The commotion grew louder, the adults' squeals and the children's delighted cackles filling the backyard. It was the kind of noise that could easily be heard over the sound of a lawnmower or a barking dog. Rachel looked up, her eyes gleaming with an idea. "They're making too much noise," she whispered to Kimberly. "Let's gag them both!"

Kimberley’s eyes widened in excitement. She nodded, and grabbing her brother’s hand, the two of them scurried into the house, returning with two of their mum’s old scarves and a roll of tape. They approached Jan and Fiona, who were still doubled over with laughter, their chests heaving. "What now?" Jan managed to get out between gasps for air.

Rachel’s grin grew even wider. "We're going to gag you," she said with a wink. "It'll make the game more challenging." The adults looked at each other, their laughter subsiding to chuckles. "Alright," Jan said, playing along, "but no tape, okay?" Rachel pouted but agreed, and the children proceeded to tie the scarves around their mothers' heads, knotting them loosely in their mouths.

Now, with their mouths muffled, Jan and Fiona's eyes grew wide as the children began tickling them again. Their laughter turned into muffled sounds of protest, their bodies jerking against the ropes holding them in place. The children's giggles grew into laughter so intense it seemed their tiny frames might shake apart. The game went on for about half an hour, until the laughter started to die down, and the children grew bored of their mothers' futile attempts to escape.

“They look hot.” Said Timmy.

“I know how we can cool them down.” Said Kimberley.

“Nooooooooo!” Cried both mothers through their gags as they saw Kim unrolling the garden hose.

“Gond ooo gare!” Jan’s eyes widened with mock horror.

Fiona’s muffled protests grew louder as Kimberly and Rachel approached them with the garden hose, the water already turned on. The cold spray hit Jan first, soaking her bikini and leaving goosebumps scattered across her skin. She bucked and squirmed in the chair, her eyes squeezed shut against the deluge. Fiona’s muffled protests grew even louder as she felt the first droplets hit her. The children's laughter grew louder as they aimed the hose back and forth, soaking the two friends from head to toe.

The water was cold, a stark contrast to the heat of the sun that had been baking their skin moments ago. The sudden chill made Jan gasp, her body shivering involuntarily. Fiona’s eyes opened wide, and she playfully glared at the children, her hair plastered to her face. Rachel and Kimberly shrieked with delight as they watched their mothers' reactions, the spray of water arching high in the air as it bounced off their squirming forms.

The chill soon gave way to a refreshing sensation, and Jan found herself laughing again, the scarf around her mouth fluttering with each breath. Fiona’s eyes sparkled with a mix of surprise and joy, the water washing away the last traces of their suntan cream, leaving their bodies glistening in the sun: fresh and youthful.

Timmy and Noah took over the hose, their aim a bit less precise, spraying water in wide arcs that caught the adults and the girls. Fiona's chair squealed as she struggled to get away from the spray, her laughter turning into squeals of protest. Rachel and Kimberly dashed out of the way, giggling as they watched the boys' enthusiastic efforts. The boys turned the hose from a fine cold spray to a firmer jet of cold water.

"Rigde, rigde," Jan called out, her voice muffled by the scarf. "Mergy! Eee urrenger!" The children looked at each other, their eyes gleaming with the thrill of victory. Rachel leaned in to untie Jan, her laughter fading into gentle teasing. "You guys didn't last long," she said, trying to keep a straight face.

Fiona, still tied to her chair, watched with a smirk as Jan was set free. "Looks like we need to work on our escape skills," she said as her own gag was removed. Rachel and Kimberly looked at each other and nodded, already planning their next move. But Jan had had enough. She stood up, her bikini clinging to her wet body, and approached Fiona's chair. "Alright, now it's your turn," she said, her voice a mix of playfulness and revenge.

The children stepped aside as Jan took the hose from Timmy. She aimed it at Fiona, her eyes glinting with mischief. "You're going to pay for this," Fiona warned, her voice muffled by the scarf. But before Jan could pull the trigger, Rachel and Kimberly leapedfrogged over the hose and began tickling her again. "No fair!" Jan shrieked, dropping the hose. The water spurted upwards, showering the children with a cold spray.

Now it was Jan's turn to laugh, her eyes watering from the sheer force of her giggles. Rachel and Kimberly redoubled their efforts, their little hands moving like lightning across Jan's belly and ribs. Jan wriggled so much the girls managed to flip her over and with one sat on her legs, the other on her helps, they mama get to tie her ands behind her back and her feet together, ankles crossed.

Fiona took advantage of the distraction, working at the knots that bound her to the chair. She managed to free one hand, and with a dramatic flair, she whipped the scarf from her mouth. "Not so fast, you little minxes!" she called out, grabbing the hose with her free hand. The plan partially backfired as the girls quickly ran away leaving Jan trussed up on the ground to get the full force of Fiona’s hosepipe. As she focussed her attention on tracking the girls with the water jet, the boys saw there opportunity and , Timmy tickling her feet and Noah going for the hose, redressed the balance of power.

As Noah now used the powerful jet at close range to keep Fiona distracted, his occasional assaults on the helpless Jan allowed Rachel the sneak up and bind Fiona’s hands behind her back. Noah and Kimberly untied her feet from the lounger and then tied her ankles together. Pulling Jan to her feet they then entered the next phase of the game as the two women hopped round the garden trying to dodge the hose or at least take cover from it, as they hoped their boobs would not bounce out if their bikinis.

The game had escalated into a full-blown , one sided water fight, with Jan and Fiona trying to dodge the powerful spray of the hose while still bound. They stumbled through the soggy grass, their bikinis clinging to their bodies, leaving little to the imagination. Rachel and Kimberly had discovered that by holding the hose closer to the nozzle, they could create a more concentrated jet of water, which they directed at their mothers' faces with unbridled glee.

Fiona managed to snatch the hose from Rachel, her movements surprisingly agile despite being tied up. She swung it around, catching Jan in the side with a spray that sent her stumbling. Jan, now totally drenched, panted and giggled, her eyes sparkling with challenge. "You think you've won, don't you?" she teased, her voice muffled by her own scarf as she grabbed the hose her hands still tied tightly behind her.

The two friends squared off, hose in hand, their bodies tight with anticipation. The children watched, their eyes wide, as Jan feigned to the left, then swung the hose to the right, soaking Fiona from head to toe. Fiona's hair was plastered to her face, and her bikini clung to her body like a second skin, revealing the soft curves that had borne two children.

Fiona stumbled back, trying to keep her balance on the slippery grass. Rachel and Kimberly squealed with excitement, egging Jan on. Timmy and Noah watched, slightly nervous but also enjoying the spectacle. "Take that!" Jan shouted, aiming the hose at Fiona's chest. The water hit its target, sending Fiona reeling backward.

Fiona's eyes narrowed, and she lunged forward, trying to wrestle the hose away. They both tumbled to the ground, the hose slipping from Jan's grasp. The children squealed and jumped out of the way as the water shot into the air like a geyser.

Eventually Noah, in all honesty like the other children, just as soaked as their mums, grabbed the hose and gave both women a final high pressure soaking before Rachael turned the water off at the tap.

"Look at you two," Rachel said, shaking her head with a grin. "You're both drenched!"

Fiona lay sprawled on the wet grass, her eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and challenge. "You think you've got us now?" she called out to Jan, who was lying nearby, equally soggy. Rachel and Kimberly giggled, watching the water droplets roll off their mothers' bodies. Timmy and Noah hovered around, unsure if they should help or join in again.

“OK.” Said Fiona.”You win. We surrender, for today. But there’s always tomorrow and next week and next year to claim revenge. Now untie us and there’s ice cream for tea.”
