I think Zack would be the best choice. He can be very mischievous but he is also very observant. I think out of all them he would be able to watch them for cues both verbal and non verbal. What they are liking and what they are hating.

Zack also is more playful so I think the sub would get a wider range of bondage experiences than Shawn. Such as tickling, breath play, edging, sensory deprivation, ect!

I would go with Ryan or Corey, but I would also try to win some favor with Steve. While Nick and Zach have more authority that anyone, they are both in a relationship. I would try to win favor with one of the bachelors, ideally Ryan or Corey.

Steven mentioned earlier that Ryan would have claimed him had Nick not been in the picture, I would attempt to fill that gap however I could. Steven would also be a good ally to have. Him being the de facto head of the dependents and husband to a senior officer could prove pivotal in being allowed to stay.

Great analysis. Corey was indeed a popular choice in that particular poll. Your idea of befriending Steven also has merit. Ryan would be a trickier bet, but with risk sometimes comes great reward. As for Nick and Zack, you're right about them wielding great authority.

Bob and Mitch are probably the ones that have the most overall influence; what with their age, experience and professions (not to mention Bob being the host). But, Nick and Zack undoubtedly carry a lot of weight in the group's decision-making process.

Steven might decide to shed some light on the senior hierarchy at some point.
Having said that, it's super fun reading your back-to-back poll answers. You're almost fully caught up!

I finally got all caught up and I’m glad I did! For the poll I would choose B-Steven with C-Joshua as a close second.

Steven was the only one who got a break between the three. He was let out the closest and got to have a meal. I also have been watching game of thrones a lot, so Steven position reminded me of that. He was “play the game” a little too well that he needed to be removed. So when an opportunity came, the other hunks took their chance.

Joshua was a close second because we do not know what all happened and I would love to find out, even if that meant personally. I want to know what kind of gag they used, is he bound further under the sleeping bags, ect. His situation is already so hot, I would not be opposed to entering.

I just caught up as well. I think (in general) I’d like to be in joshes position most of the time. Minus the gas mask and nicks shoe. If not him, definitely Steven’s place. I’d love to serve Nick and be a good boi for him

I loved this last chapter . Can't wait to read more .

As for the poll, rolling around with Nick or Bob would be quite enjoyable. I voted for Nick in the end though.

This might be a surprise, but I think Big Mike would work best! The training could help him become more assertive, but his current lack of focused dominance right now makes me think he'll never become particularly arrogant and won't become say, abusive in the way Brad or Ryan or Shawn would.

I would say Big Mike! I think Big Mike would fit into the role once he got comfortable with it. It would push Mike out of this comfort zone, but I think it would be beneficial in the end.

He is kind and compassionate when needed but is also not afraid to hand gag someone when necessary. I don’t think he would abuse his authority as others might *cough* *cough* Ryan

I’ve gone Corey, similarly to @Volobond with Big Mike. He seems like a nice guy and not likely to be corrupted or cruel

My vote goes to Corey as well. He seems to have the personality for it and won't be abusive with his powers as a member of the police

I went with Andrew. His background as a medic shows he can stay calm under pressure. Plus growing up with Mitch, he would be at home working under someone like bob

I voted for Corey. he seems like a perfect candidate...

I hesitated between Corey and Big Mike. Big Mike in my view displayed all the budding skills in recent chapters to learn from Bob so I voted for him.

I'm presently undecided. What I do know is Brad would probably be the worst candidate out of the group.

I voted Corey. Feel he is the best combination of strong, assertive and also sympathetic.

I think Corey, he’s got that cake! But… also Andrew because of his dad being a fireman, those are my top two,

Some interesting results and great comments so far, guys. I didn't have any fixed expectations as to how this poll would go, but the results are nonetheless surprising. Looks like we're heading for a three-way race between Mike, Corey and Andrew.

I went for the runs in the family kind of thing. To a certain degree, some of us are influenced on the kind of job we wanted to do based on the occupation of our family member or relatives. With this, I voted for Shawn. I was torn between Andrew and Shawn but I remembered Mr. Hoffmann (Nick's dad/Shawn's uncle) was a cop back in Sweden. I think he is also up for the job based from the chart of doms and subs. He has the making of a police already (physique and stamina). Also, my mind is going haywire imagining Shawn wearing police boots matched that with his questionable sock changing habit. Hahah thus I am convinced that he wont mind extensive stakeouts (i.e. no baths) and is perfect for the job.

I picked Corey. I can see him being the one with more authority in him than like Andrew because he's already being trained as a paramedic. And even Mike since he's like a gentle giant to be assertive. Plus, the beginning of the story where he arrests Steven to me shows he has the capability to be a policeman under Bob's training.

@OrdinaryWorld riiiiight? Those socks really makes it more appealing. Which types were you thinking? The cotton/wool ones would look really hot with Shawn but so does the nylon ones for extra smelliness as attested by our author. Curious also if his foot odour would already be as bad as Nick or even worse once he starts hia police training.

Poor old Brad without any votes, I feel I need to give him some support. Maybe a bit of order, purpose and discipline is what he needs in his life to bring out the better side of him. He's not all bad, maybe just a bit immature and misguided.

I'm surprised you guys still remember the trivial details about Nick's dad. Only a few tidbits have been offered so far, but yes, as per CHAPTER 242 - HIDDEN TREASURES it was confirmed that Nick's father served in the military police whilst living in Sweden. The length of his tenure spanning many years.

As for Nick's heritage, it was also only brushed upon in later chapters and revealed that he was of German and Swedish origin. German father, Swedish mother. Can't say more without revealing B&G spoilers, so I'll leave it at that.

As for whether a dedicated police officer-in-training would really be needed. That's debatable.
However, police training should in fact be given to the entire crew. Their continued survival may very well depend on it. As such, I would argue that it be important for Officer Bob to ensure everyone receives training, whilst also channelling added focus into training one apprentice-officer, who would eventually become skilled enough to pass down knowledge and train others himself should Bob no longer be around or able to do so.

Mitch & Andrew are doing the same by giving everyone CPR and emergency/first aid medical training.
